Perkembangan zaman saat ini membuat tantangan kompetensi peserta didik semakin tinggi, sehingga dibutuhkan kemampuan untuk menghubungkan dan mengintegrasikan pengetahuan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Salah satu kemampuan tersebut adalah berpikir tingkat tinggi dalam keterampilan pemecahan masalah. Pemecahan masalah adalah keterampilan untuk memahami masalah sehingga mampu memberikan solusi yang tepat sesuai dengan pengetahuan yang dimiliki. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan validitas baik dari segi teoritis maupun empiris, reliabilitas butir soal, dan mengukur ketercapaian indikator pemecahan masalah serta respon peserta didik terkait instrumen soal HOTS pada materi sistem gerak manusia. Pemilihan materi sistem gerak manusia dikarenakan berhubungan langsung dengan peserta didik, sehingga mampu untuk mengembangkan pengetahuan konseptual dan prosedural. Metode penelitian pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model 4-D, tanpa tahap disseminate. Validasi instrumen soal HOTS dilakukan secara teoritis dan empiris. Validasi teoritis menggunakan skala guttman, validasi empiris dengan uji coba terbatas menggunakan korelasi product-moment, reliabilitas dianalisis menggunakan cronbach alpha, dan ketercapaian indikator pemecahan masalah serta respon peserta didik. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa instrumen soal HOTS berdasarkan validitas teoritis mendapatkan hasil sangat valid dengan nilai 93,78%, validitas empiris yang diperoleh mencapai 86,67% kategori valid. Instrumen soal HOTS memiliki nilai reliabilitas sebesar 0,621 kategori reliabel, dan ketercapain indikator pemecahan masalah kategori cukup mencapai 53,33%, respon peserta didik sebesar 73,33% kategori baik. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah produk instrumen soal HOTS pada materi sistem gerak manusia valid, reliabel dan mampu mengukur keterampilan pemecahan masalah serta kategori soal baik berdasarkan respon peserta didik.
Sistem imun merupakan materi abstrak sehingga perlu visualisasi dalam bentuk ilustrasi. Dalam hal ini, poster merupakan alternatif visualisasi materi sistem imun sekaligus dapat memfasilitasi tagihan kompetensi dasar melakukan kampanye untuk materi tersebut. Melatihkan kemampuan membuat poster dapat dilakukan dengan media e-book tipe flipbook. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan media pembelajaran ilustratif berupa e-book tipe flipbook pada materi sistem imun yang valid dan dapat melatihkan kemampuan membuat poster. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang mengacu pada model ASSURE. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode validasi yang diukur berdasarkan penilaian pakar. Validitas e-book berdasarkan ciri spesifik menunjukkan skor rata-rata 4 dengan kategori sangat valid ditinjau dari kelayakan isi, kelayakan penyajian, dan kelayakan kebahasaan. Berdasarkan hasil validasi, e-book yang dikembangkan dapat melatihkan kemampuan membuat poster melalui beberapa fitur yang tersedia, serta dapat diakses secara online maupun offline.
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the types of earthworms found in banana tree habitat in different areas. This research method is observational research. The sampling place was chosen in the banana tree habitat with the purphosive random sampling method. Sampling areas in 4 cities (Surabaya, Sidoarjo, Gresik and Bangkalan). The results showed that there were five types of earthworms found in Bangkalan, four types of earthworms were found in Gresik and Sidoarjo, three types of earthworms in Surabaya. Conclusion there are five types of earthworms found in banana tree habitat, namely Methaphire javanica, Amynthas robbustus, Methaphire postuma, Methaphire californica, and Pheretima recemosa.
Students' critical thinking skills in Indonesia are still categorized as low, so it is necessary to facilitate learning tools that support critical thinking activities. One of the learning tools is the inquiry-based Student Activity Sheet (LKS) which can train students' critical thinking skills. The purpose of this study was to develop inquiry-based worksheets on animal tissue learning material for class XI SMA Negeri 3 Mojokerto. The model used in this research is the 4-D model, namely define, design, develop and disseminate. The research subjects were 12 students of class XI MIPA 1 as many as 12 students of SMA Negeri 3 Mojokerto. The results of the percentage agreement validation of the LKS were 96% categorized as reliable. The effectiveness of the student worksheet is based on a gain score of 0.89 with high criteria so that the device is said to be effective. Student responses to the developed worksheets obtained results of 99.08% with a very good response. Thus, inquiry-based student worksheets on animal tissue learning material can train students' critical thinking skills.Keywords: Student activity sheet, inquiry model, critical thinking skills, animal tissue
Abstract. Storage of semen requires diluent to dilute semen and maintain sperm quality. One of the diluent for bull semen was CEP. The purpose of this study was to assess the association of bull spermatozoa quality with the physical and chemical conditions of CEP diluents with the addition of egg yolk before and after the storage process. The study used Limousin bull with 5 replications. The quality of spermatozoa included motility and viability. Physical and chemical conditions included the pH and osmolarity of the diluent. The motility of spermatozoa was observed under a light microscope with 200 X magnification at 37°C by two people. The viability of spermatozoa was observed under a light microscope with 400 X magnification with nigrosine eosin staining. Data were analyzed with ANOVA and continued Duncan's test. Dilution pH was measured using pH indicator paper ranging from 6-8. The osmolarity of the diluent was measured by electrical osmolarity. The results showed that the addition of egg yolk in the CEP diluent decreased the pH and increased osmolartitas, but the quality of spermatozoa can be kept up to 8 days of storage. The conclusion in this study was the addition of egg yolk in the CEP diluent provided physical and chemical conditions that can maintain the quality of spermatozoa during storage at a temperature of 4-5 ° C.
This study aims to produce and describe the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of Student Activity Sheets based on the local wisdom of Surabayaspecific Batik that can improve critical thinking skills in science subjects 6th grade Elementary School. This research is a development research that refers to the Four D (4D) development model. Student Activity Sheet based Surabaya batik local wisdom validated by experts, then tested on 20 fourth grade students of Mulyorejo I / 237 Elementary school Surabaya. The results showed that the Student Activity Sheet that was developed was very valid with a percentage of 92.25%, the Student Activity Sheet that was developed practically based on student activities relevant to learning with a percentage of 92.71%, and the Student Activity Sheet that was developed effectively based on the results Student's critical thinking test which showed that all students completed with an N-gain of 0.751 in the high category. It can be concluded that the Student Activity Sheet based Surabaya batik local wisdom deserves to improve the critical thinking skills of elementary students.
Semen diluents need macromolecules to protect sperm from the impact of temperature during storage and the presence of free radicals. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of adding yolk from different types of eggs to the quality and integrity of the sperm membrane. Fresh semen was diluted with basic tris-soya diluent wich was added with different types of chicken egg yolk, such as local chicken eggs and leghorn chicken eggs. As a control group, fresh semen was diluted with basic tris-soya diluent without the addition of egg yolk. The addition of egg yolk was 20% of the diluent volume. Quality observations include motility and viability of sperm. Sperm motility was observed using a microscope with 200 X magnification. The sperm viability was observed using the eosin and negrosin staining method, then it observed under a microscope with 200 X magnification. The integrity of sperm membrane was observed using the HOST method, and then observed under a microscope with 200 X magnification. Free radicals then observed with MDA test. The results showed that the motility, viability and membrane integrity of sperm only lasted until the 12 hour of storage, with the greatest motility, viability and membrane integrity obtained in diluents with the addition of leghorn chicken egg yolk. The smallest MDA test was 2.72, which obtained from diluents with the addition of leghorn chicken egg yolk. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the leghorn chicken egg yolk has the best ability to maintain the quality of Senduro Goat sperm during 4-5°C storage temperature.
