The creativity of children will be able to grow whether the school can provide space for creativity. Child-friendly schools are school concepts that give protect students from violence, discrimination and unnatural treatments. It provides assurance and fulfill the rights of students such giving students space for creativity. This research was conducted at SD Negeri 109 Palembang. This study aimed at determining how the school provides creativity space to students through child friendly school’s program. This research was descriptive qualitative, which investigate how to give creativity room to student in a child friendly school’s program. The instruments of collecting data were interview, documentation, and observation. The results obtained indicate that the school provided space for students’ creativity through learning strategy and school’s environment approach. Based on this program, the students at SD Negeri 109 Palembang have been able to show their creativity attitude through problem solving while in learning activities and outside learning activities. Child-friendly schools should ensure every student's opportunity to enjoy his/her rights in education without discrimination based on disability, gender, ethnicity, religion, type of intelligence, and parental background. Child-friendly schools should also consider safe, clean and healthy school situations, caring and cultured, living environment, respect the rights and protection of students from violence, discrimination and other unfair treatment, and ensure the participation of students in planning, policy, learning, supervision, and complaint mechanism related to the fulfillment of rights and protection of students in education.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana strategi kepala sekolah dalam penguatan pendidikan karakter peserta didik, implementasinya dan hasil dari implementasi tersebut di SD Negeri 12 Betung. Metode yang digunakan ialah metode kualitatif dengan analisis deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data observasi dan wawancara menunjukkan bahwa 1) strategi kepala sekolah dalam penguatan pendidikan karakter peserta didik yaitu a) pengintegrasian ke dalam kegiatan intrakurikuler, b) pengintegrasian ke dalam kegiatan ekstrakurikuler; c) pembiasaan di sekolah; 2) implementasi strategi tersebut a) mengintegrasikan pendidikan karakter ke dalam setiap mata pelajaran atau tema dan muatan lokal; b) mengintegrasikan ke dalam kegiatan ekstrakurikuler yang ada di SD Negeri 12 Betung antara lain pramuka, dokter cilik, dan drumband dengan cara pemberian motivasi, pemberian nasihat, pemberian penghargaan atau hadiah, pemberian sanksi dan keteladanan; c) keteladanan, kegiatan rutin, kegiatan spontan, dan pengkondisian; 3) hasil implementasi strategi tersebut dapat dilihat pada a) penilaian afektif, b) nilai rapor siswa, dan c) buku konseling. Dari ketiga penilaian di atas hasil implementasi strategi kepala sekolah dalam penguatan pendidikan di SD Negeri 12 Betung termasuk kategori baik.
This research aimed at describing school's strategy in increasing the professionalism of Primary School teachers through Digital Literacy. This research was conducted at SD Negeri 6 Pulau Rimau, Banyuasin. The method was descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of the study approved the Principal's strategy and the role of the teacher to improve teacher’s professionalism through digital literacy run effectively. Some of the strategies used by principals include completing facilities and targets that can support digital literacy, strengthening literacy through e-Learning, school strategies by sending teachers and education personnel to get seminars, training, or technical assistance and helping Teacher Working Groups or Groups Principal's Work. Teacher strategies in increasing professionalism by implementing four teacher competencies, pedagogical, personal, social, and profesional competence through digital literacy.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana kinerja guru Sekolah Dasar dapat ditingkatkan melalui supervisi akademik yang dilakukan oleh kepala Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SD Negeri 16 Gelumbang. Metode penelitian yang di gunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Alat pengumpul data menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi dan kajian pustaka. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa proses supervisi akademik dilaksanakan oleh kepala sekolah melalui beberapa tahapan yaitu 1) perencanaan kegiatan supervisi akademik; 2) pelaksanaan supervisi akademik; 3) melakukan umpan balik hasil supervisi akademik; dan 4) melakukan tindak lanjut hasil supervisi akademik. Alat untuk melakukan penilaian berupa istrument supervisi yaitu 1) instrument untuk penilaian administrasi perangkat pembelajaran; 2) instrument untuk penilaian RPP; 3) instrument untuk penilaian pelaksanaan pembelajaran; 4) instrument untuk penilaian evaluasi pembelajaran; instrument untuk tindak lanjut; instrument untuk penilaian kinerja guru. Hasil supervisi akademik dapat meningkatkan kinerja guru di SD Negeri 16 Gelumbang.
This study focuses on the problem of the Effect of Managerial Supervision and Work Motivation on the Performance Improvement of the Principal of SMA Ogan Komering Ulu Regency. This research used questionnaire and documentation, and it is concluded that managerial supervision has a significant positive effect on employee performance. Managerial supervision has a value that is greater than the coefficient of work motivation variable. This indicates that the influence of managerial supervision variables tends to be greater in influencing employee performance than the work motivation variable, and the work motivation variable also has a positive influence on employee performance. The results of the simple regression analysis show that the t-test results are also statistically significant. It can be seen that there is a significant effect of managerial supervision and employee motivation on employee performance variables. The significant effect of this hypothesis can be seen through the F test. If F-count is greater than F-table, the independent variables have a significant effect on the dependent variable.
This study determined the effect of Visionary Leadership and orgazitional culture on the performance of Vocational High School Teacher in Prabumulih City. This research uses quentitative approach with Survey Method. This study population of 125 people, namely vocational High School teacher in Prabumulih city. The research sample of 30 people. The sampling technique in this study is random sampling. Data collectional technique using documentational and questionnaire. Data were analyzed using simple regression techniques and Multiple regression techniques. The result showed that: (1) visionary leadership had a positive and significant effect on the performance of Vocational High Shcool Teachers in Prabumulih City; (2) organization culture had a positive and significant effect on the performance of Vocational High Shcool Teachers in Prabumulih City, and (3) visionary leadership and Organization culture jointly have a positive and significant effect on the performance of Vocational High Shcool Teachers in Prabumulih City.
This research was conducted at Public Elementary School 68 Palembang with 34 teachers as respondents in the study sample. In this study there are three research variables consisting of two independent variables Principal Competence (X1) and Community Participation (X2), and one dependent variable Quality of Educational Services (Y). The extent to which the realization and role of community participation in education depends on the understanding of the community itself in education, and depends on the ability of the school. Quality education services are educational services that are in accordance with the plan and achieve the goals set and can meet the expectations and needs of customers. The results obtained in this study illustrate that the quality of educational services in Public Elementary School 68 Palembang is very good and can meet customer needs.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji 1) pengaruh kepemimpinan terhadap disiplin kerja guru, 2) pengaruh motivasi kerja guru terhadap disiplin kerja guru, dan 3) pengaruh kepemimpinan dan motivasi kerja guru secara bersama-sama terhadap disiplin kerja guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian adalah guru SMP Negeri 1 Tanjung Raja, pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik totalling sampling yaitu sampel berdasarkan jumlah populasi sebanyak 35 responden. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan angket, dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif dengan menggunakan program SPSS versi 16 for windows. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa 1) ada pengaruh kepemimpinan terhadap disiplin kerja guru di SMP Negeri 1 Tanjung Raja 2) ada pengaruh motivasi kerja guru terhadap disiplin kerja guru di SMP Negeri 1 Tanjung Raja 3) ada pengaruh kepemimpinan dan motivasi kerja guru secara bersama-sama terhadap disiplin kerja guru di SMP Negeri 1 Tanjung Raja.
