The purpose of the study was to test the effect of academic supervision and work life balance on teacher performance during Covid-19. This type of research is quantitative with an explanatory research approach. There were 92 teachers of SMK 8 Padang who were selected as samples in the study based on saturated sampling techniques. The data was collected using questionnaires with a 5-point likert measurement scale. Findings in this study with regression analysis multiple linear showing the results of the analysis that: there is an influence of academic supervision on teacher performance during Covid-19 H1 received; there is a work life balance effect to the performance of teachers during Covid-19 H2 received; and there is an influence of academic supervision and work life balance simultaneously on teacher performance during Covid-19 H3 received.

Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi, dan tindak lanjut supervisi akademik yang dilakukan oleh Kepala Sekolah terhadap kinerja guru di SDN 2 Mojoreno selama pandemi pada bulan Februari 2021. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif jenis studi kasus dengan teknik analisis data interaktif. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Keabsahan data menggunakan teknik triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Perencanaan supervisi akademik: penentuan pelaksanaan supervisi selama pandemi dan instrumen supervisi; 2) Pelaksanaan supervisi akademik: dilakukan melalui observasi menggunakan platform zoom meeting dan wawancara menggunakan whatsapp group; 3) Evaluasi supervisi: beberapa guru masih terkendala penggunaan teknologi dalam menerapkan pembelajaran daring, kurang kreatifnya guru dalam memilih media pembelajaran, pelaksanaan pembelajaran belum sepenuhnya sesuai dengan rancangan pembelajaran; 4) Tindak lanjut supervisi akademik: pembinaan kinerja guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran virtual di Kelompok Kerja Guru (KKG) melalui zoom meeting atau whatsapp group. Hasil dari supervisi akademik digunakan sebagai pedoman refleksi dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru.

The aim of this research was to find out 1) the impact of principal supervision of academics on teacher performance; 2) the influence of work motivation on teacher performance; and 3) the combined impact of academic supervision and work motivation on teacher performance. This research uses quantitative methods. The research sample consisted of 90 Kindergarten teachers in Mesuji Makmur District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. The method which is used to collect data is a questionnaire. Meanwhile, data analysis techniques used in this study are 1) descriptive quantitative analysis techniques, and 2) multiple linear regression. The results of this study show that 1) principal's academic supervision has a significant impact on teacher performance; 2) work motivation has a significant impact on teacher performance; and 3) the combination of principal's academic supervision and work motivation has a significant impact on teacher performance.
