This study aimed to investigate the relationship between minority Muslim families and those of non-Muslims in Banjarasri, Kalibawang, Kulon Progo Yogyakarta; and to find out the religious diversity motivation of the Muslim families. This study used descriptive qualitative method by applying a phenomenological approach. The data were garnered using observation and interview. This study revealed that the acculturation of arts, cultures, and social community made Muslim families and non-Muslim families live side by side. The religious motivation of Muslim minority for the sake of maintaining their faith rested upon both extrinsic and intrinsic motivations. Extrinsically, it could be seen from the strong influence of the mosque administrators, the power of various religious activities to enhance religious awareness, and the solid cohesiveness of the group to strengthen as well as protect religious motivation. Intrinsically, the religious motivation of Muslims in Banjarsari was basically the effect of self-awareness by reasons of their minor position, so that such motivation yielded strong inner capacity from each Muslim family to revive and get more deeply into Islam.
Tak ada yang memungkiri keluarga dalam hal ini orang tua memiliki peran yang strategis dalam pendidikan. Terlebih dalam aspek akhlak. Sekolah sebagai lembaga mitra orang tua untuk mendidik anaknya. Artinya keduanya sama-sama memiliki tanggung jawab agar anak menjadi manusia seutuhnya. Namun, masih sulit ditemui relasi antara keduanya berjalan sebagaimana mestinya. Sekolah menuju barat sebagai tujuannya, keluarga justru tidak tahu malah berjalan ke utara. Masih terjadi pragmentasi antara keduanya. Artinya belum terbangun komunikasi yang baik agar keduanya dapat berkolaborasi, menapaki jalan mencapai tujuan pendidikan.
Religious moderation is an urgent entity for Indonesian people because they are multireligious. Hence, this qualitative study aimed to explore the religious moderation factors of multireligious people residing in the Sekaran, Rama Agung, and Cigugur villages of Indonesia and to analyze the people’s most vital factors of religious moderation. Fifteen religious and communal leaders from the three villages were purposively involved as the participants. An interactive model was adopted to analyze the data from interviews and focus group discussions. This study found five factors of religious moderation exhibited by Sekaran people, namely the principle of togetherness, socio-religious traditions, social traditions related to the values of the Indonesian Republic, and family. Rama Agung people showcased three factors: accepting the reality of differences, putting aside exclusivity, and upholding the harmony of life. Cigugur people demonstrated ten factors extending to family, awareness of moderation, mutual respect, tolerance, internalization of multiculturalism, good communication, socio-religious traditions, cultural ties, social relations, and interactions with cultural traditions. Furthermore, three latent and generalizable factors of religious moderation were codified as the strongest. They entailed upholding the principle of togetherness, accepting the reality of differences, and having mutual respect.
This article examines the direction of the development of Islamic religious education in Madrasah. The main subject of the research is the Decree of the Minister of Religion (KMA) number 183 of 2019 concerning the Islamic religious education curriculum and Arabic language in Madrasah. This research is very important in order to be able to explore the direction of the development of Islamic Religious Education in Madrasah and how to determine the basis for that direction. This clarity can ensure the truth or untruth of various issues milling about this, one of which is the issue of the abolition of Islamic religious education lessons. Researchers studied with a descriptive qualitative approach using content analysis techniques. So far, no researcher has studied this subject. The results show that the direction of Islamic religious education was born through in-depth study. Development is based on philosophical, sociological, psycho-pedagogical, and theoretical foundations as well as a rationalization so that it can be said to be a systemic and measurable reinforcement. Moderate and inclusive behavior is one of the goals that is strengthened as the direction of Islamic religious education in Madrasah so students are ready dan play positif as global citizenship.
Many studies on the issues of parenting styles and children's gaming routines have been undertaken quantitatively but not qualitatively. Thus, the present study aimed at qualitatively investigating the parenting styles in dealing with children's routines of playing online games via gadgets. 20 parents and 10 children in Uram Jaya sub-district, Lebong regency, Bengkulu, Indonesia were involved as the participants. The data were garnered from interviews and observations. This study revealed that the parents applied authoritarian, authoritative, and permissive parenting styles in dealing with children's gaming routines. The permissive parenting style seemed to contribute to children's gaming addiction because the children, receiving this parenting style from one of their parents, played online games in the span of 2.5 and 4 hours. Subsequently, the authoritarian and authoritative parenting styles seemed to be able to control children's gaming routines. Nevertheless, the authoritarian parenting style did not seem good at controlling children's psychosocial development.
Adanya COVID-19 yang menyebar keseluruh dunia, termasuk di Indonesia telah menimbulkan banyak korban jiwa. Hal ini memaksa pemerintah mengeluarkan kebijakan Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh, diantaranya melalui daring, agar kegiatan pendidikan tetap berjalan, termasuk Pendidikan Agama Islam. Tentunya guru memerlukan perencanaan strategi yang berbeda dari perencanaan strategi sebelumnya, dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai Islam kepada siswa yang menjadi bagian penting tujuan pendidikan nasional. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui dan memahami bagaimana perencanaan strategi guru dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam akibat COVID-19. Teknik pengumpulan datanya melalui wawancara terhadap 5 orang responden sebagai informan. Hasil yang didapat yaitu bahwa guru menempuh perencanan strategi pembelajaran dengan membangun kesiapan siswa dalam pembelajaran, mendesain perencanaan pembelajaran, penggunaan strategi dan metode, penggunaan media, sumber belajar dan bahan ajar, alokasi waktu, dan penilaian hasil belajar formatif.
This study explains how the existence of Tabut is interpreted so that it becomes a tradition in the Sunni’s community. It is important to understand how this ritual is maintained in the midst of the Sunni-Shia’s conflicts which continue to occur. The present study was qualitatively conducted using a field research method. The members including the leaders of Keluarga Kerukunan Tabut (KKT) and those of Tabut Pembangunan as the community handled by the government were engaged as the participants of this study. The data collection techniques deployed interviews, observations, documentation, and literature reviews. The present study revealed that the existence of Tabut’s tradition which is claimed to be a tradition originated from Shia’s teachings is able to maintain its presence in Bengkulu. This existence survives in the middle of Bengkulu’s society that is predominantly Sunni. This tradition is capable of being a peaceful path between Sunni and Shia in Bengkulu because each of them succeeds in creating social interactions through the Tabut’s tradition as human relations and the symbol they interpret. As an implication, this study highlighted that a religious or cultural activity can be a medium of social bondage in the midst of cultural diversity. This study contributes to being a reference for those who have interests in anthropological, social, and religious fields.
Kepemimpinan transpormasional memberikan dampak pada mutu suatu organisasi termasuk pendidikan. Kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan kinerja guru memilki nilai yang besar bagi mutu sekolah. Salah satuna, terlihat pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional kepala madrasah dan kinerja guru terhadap mutu madrasah di MIN 01 Dusun Curup. MIN 01 Dusun Curup Rejang Lebong ini mengalami transformasi pasca kepemimpinan kepala sekolah baru. Dari sekolah yang sepi peminat menjadi sekolah favorit yang banyak diminati. Transformasi ini menjadi sangat menarik untuk diteliti. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini bersifat kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh guru yang mengajar di MIN 01 Dusun Curup yang berjumlah 20 orang. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan angket. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji statistik yakni uji validitas, reliabilitas, normalitas dan multikolinearitas data. Adapun metode analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi sederhana dan berganda sekaligus. Skor tes Kepemimpinan Transformasional nilai t hitung 3.446 dengan probabilitas = 0.009 < 0.05 artinya ada pengaruh yang signifikan. Untuk variabel kinerja guru nilai t hitung 3.982 dengan probabilitas = 0.001 < 0.05 yang berarti ada pengaruh yang signifikan. Kepemimpinan Transformasional Kepala Sekolah dan Kinerja Guru secara bersama-sama berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap Mutu Pendidikan di MIN 01 Dusun Curup.
