Vocational education has an important role in the effort to create a workforce that has competencies that are in accordance with the needs of the industrial world. But the open unemployment rate in Indonesia in February 2018 was 6.87 million people and 8.92% of them were graduates of VHS. Why does that much unemployment happen? Is the learning process at VHS not yet qualified, so that the quality of VHS graduates is still low? Can the teaching factory improve the quality of VHS graduates? To answer this question, research needs to be done. This research was conducted using literature studies on related references, and a number of research reports on teaching factories conducted at VHS and continued with FGD. The results of the study concluded that the teaching factory consisted of planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating. The teaching factory developed was integrated with the production unit that was used for the practice of students, so that VHS graduates became qualified and ready to enter the workforce.
A DC motor is applied to delicate speed and position in the industry. The stability and productivity of a system are keys for tuning of a DC motor speed. Stabilized speed is influenced by load sway and environmental factors. In this paper, a comparison study in diverse techniques to tune the speed of the DC motor with parameter uncertainties is showed. The research has discussed the application of the feed-forward neural network (FFNN) which is enhanced by a sine tree-seed algorithm (STSA). STSA is a hybrid method of the tree-seed algorithm (TSA) and Sine Cosine algorithm. The STSA method is aimed to improve TSA performance based on the sine cosine algorithm (SCA) method. A feed-forward neural network (FFNN) is popular and capable of nonlinear issues. The focus of the research is on the achievement speed of DC motor. In addition, the proposed method will be compared with proportional integral derivative (PID), FFNN, marine predator algorithm-feed-forward neural network (MPA-NN) and atom search algorithm-feed-forward neural network (ASO-NN). The performance of the speed from the proposed method has the best result. The settling time value of the proposed method is more stable than the PID method. The ITAE value of the STSA-NN method was 31.3% better than the PID method. Meanwhile, the ITSE value is 29.2% better than the PID method.
This research aims to discover students’ increase abilities, skills, and innovative behaviors after being taught using a problem-based learning model using IoT-B-HMI-LM in the form of Trainer Kit. The study was conducted using quantitative methods on 69 students and eight teachers with electrical engineering expertise at vocational high schools in East Java, Indonesia. The stratified simple sampling technique was used to determine the research sample. Data analysis used descriptive statistics and paired sample t-test. The sample is determined by stratified random sampling. Data analysis with descriptive statistics and paired t-test. The results of the study show an increase in students' abilities, skills, and innovative behavior after being taught a problem-based learning model using the IoT-B-HMI-LM in the form of a Trainer Kit.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kurikulum 2013 dalam pembelajaran penjas yang ada di Sekolah Dasar Negeri 46 Plasma 2 Ngabang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi, angket dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kurikulum 2013 dalam pembelajaran penjas sudah berjalan dengan baik. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil wawancara langsung dengan guru penjas, angket, dan observasi bahwa untuk sarana dan prasarana sudah lengkap di Sekolah Dasar Negeri 46 Plasma 2 Ngabang.Sehingga sekolah yang kami teliti, memiliki sarana dan prasarana yang mempuni dalam pembelajaran penjas dan guru penjas di Sekolah Dasar Negeri 46 Plasma 2. Jumlah siswa di SD Negeri 46 plasma 2 Ngabang adalah 145 siswa/I, 87 siswa laki-laki, dan 58 jumlah siswa perempuan. Kurikulum 2013 adalah kurikulum yang mengharuskan siswa yang aktif dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran, dan guru juga harus bisa menguasai materi yang akan di sampaikan kepada siswa didik dalam sebuah pembelajaran, kurikulum 2013 adalah sistem kurikulum yang di terapkan atau yang berlaku di bidang pendidikan indonesia. Kurikulum ini tetap di terapkan oleh pemerintah untuk meningkatkan kurikulum 2006/ ktsp, yang berlaku kurang lebih 6 tahun. Tujuan kurikulum 2013 adalah mempersiapkan manusia indonesia agar memiliki kemampuan hidup sebagai pribadi dan warga negara beriman, produktif,kreatif,inovatif, dan efektif serta mampu berkontribusi pada kehidupan masyarakat, berbangsa,bernegara,dan peradaban dunia.
Learning media is everything that can channel the message of learning resources in a planned manner, to create a conducive learning environment, where the recipient can carry out the learning process effectively and efficiently. Vocational learning must be effective in meeting basic objectives to prepare vocational graduates to be ready to work. Thus, it is an assignment for lecturers whose function is to prepare vocational teacher candidates. The question that arises is "how should a learning media be developed", so that the learning process in the classroom can run effectively and efficiently, so that students get optimum learning outcomes. For this reason, it is necessary to do research with the title "Development of Electrical Motor Control (EMC) Learning Media as Learning Support for Electrical Power Installation Courses in the Department of Electrical Engineering, Surabaya State University". This study aims: (1) to develop Electrical Motor Control (EMC) Trainer; (2) to find out the feasibility level of the Trainer in a learning perspective; and (3) to determine the effectiveness of the EMC Trainer in the learning process. The research method uses Research & Development (R & D), followed by experiments with the design of "one-group pretest-posttest design". The study found that: (1) based on the validator's assessment, that the EMC Trainer that had been developed was very feasible to be used in learning in the Electrical Power Installation course; (2) based on the assessment of students, that the EMC Trainer is very suitable to be used in learning courses in Electric Power Installation; and (3) as many as 26 (74.28%) students get scores on learning outcomes in the 71-100 range, with good and excellent categories. The study concluded that the EMC Trainer is very feasible and effective to be used to support the learning of Electric Power Installation courses.
Latar belakang dari penelitian ini berdasarkan hasil observasi saat pelaksanaan Pengenalan Lapangan Persekolahan di SMK Negeri 1 Sidoarjo, diketahui pembelajaran masih dilaksanakan secara konvensional, masih menggunakan media trainer yang sudah lama dan belum mengacu pada standar Peraturan Umum Instalasi Listrik terbaru pada mata pelajaran Instalasi Motor Listrik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan produk berupa trainer dan jobsheet pengendali motor listrik 3 fasa menggunakan raspberry pi dengan interface aplikasi telegram yang layak digunakan meliputi validitas, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan. Uji coba penelitian ini menggunakan teknik simple random sampling di mana subjek adalah 20 peserta didik kelas XI TITL 1 program keahlian Teknik Instalasi Tenaga Listrik semester genap tahun pelajaran 2020/2021. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development, dalam bentuk One Group Pretest–Postest Design. Dari penelitian ini diperoleh hasil kevalidan dengan nilai rerata sebesar 89,06%, maka produk penelitian ini dikategorikan sangat valid digunakan. Hasil kepraktisan dari hasil analisis respon guru sebesar 86,36% dan hasil analisis respon peserta didik sebesar 87,90%, maka produk penelitian ini dikategorikan sangat praktis digunakan. Hasil keefektifan diperoleh dari hasil belajar peserta didik berdasarkan perhitungan analisis uji-t diperoleh hasil (-2 tailed) 0,000. Hasil tersebut menunjukan bahwa nilai 0,000 lebih kecil dari (<) 0,05. Untuk hasil thitung sebesar (45,042) sedangkan ttabel sebesar 2,093 dengan df = 19. Karena thitung (>) ttabel sehingga dapat dikatakan sangat efektif diterapkan pada mata pelajaran Instalasi Motor Listrik di SMK Negeri 1 Sidoarjo. Hasil penelitian ini dapat berkontribusi sebagai masukan bagi guru SMK dalam memperbaiki kualitas pembelajaran dengan menerapkan media trainer dan jobsheet.
The purpose of this study is to: (1) analyze the differences in learning outcomes between students who study using Delphi-based learning media and students who learn by using Power Pont learning media in Basic Electrical and Electronics subjects at Surabaya KAL-1 Vocational School; (2) analyze the differences in learning outcomes in Basic Electrical and Electronics subjects between students who have a high level of learning independence and students who have a low level of learning independence at Surabaya KAL-1 Vocational School; (3) analyzing the interaction between the use of instructional media (delph and PPT) and the level of learning independence on learning outcomes in the Basic Electrical and Electronics subjects at the Surabaya KAL-1 Vocational School. This type of research is quasi-experimental using factorial 2x2 design, and the data were analyzed using Anacova two lines with the help of SPSS. The study found: (1) Learning outcomes for students using Delphi-based learning media (cognitive domain mean = 79) were significantly higher than learning outcomes for students who used Point Power learning media (cognitive domain = 73) in Basic Electricity subjects and Electronics at KAL 1 SMK Surabaya; (2) Learning outcomes for students who have TKBT (cognitive domain average = 78.17) are significantly higher than learning outcomes for students who have TKBR (cognitive domain average = 74.35) in Basic Electrical and Electronics subjects at KAL Vocational School. 1 Surabaya; (3) there is a significant interaction between the use of learning media (Delphi and PPT) and the level of learning independence on cognitive learning outcomes in the Basic Electrical and Electronics subjects at the Surabaya KAL-1 Vocational School. Research suggests: (1) Selection of learning media should be done appropriately especially if the school already has adequate infrastructure; (2) teachers in learning must be able to pay attention to the characteristics of students (learning independence) so that students are able to master the material better; and (3) learning media as a source of learning must be able to be maximally utilized by students in its use.
