This research aims to find out: (1) the more effective learning model on students' divergent-thinking skills; (2) the better adversity quotient on students' divergent-thinking skills; (3) the better adversity quotient to improve students' divergent-thinking skills in each learning model; and (4) the better learning model to improve students' divergent-thinking skills in each adversity quotient. This research uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental type. The fifth-grade students were selected as the research subjects. This research was carried out at the public elementary schools in Laweyan District, Surakarta, Indonesia. Test and questionnaire techniques were used to collect data. The data analysis was performed with the analysis prerequisite, hypothesis, and multiple-comparison tests. The results showed that the learning model and adversity quotient have an influence on divergentthinking skills; for each adversity quotient, the thinking actively in a social context learning model is better than the creative problem solving and direct instruction learning model; the creative problem solving learning model is better than the direct instruction learning model; and adversity quotient of the climbers is better than that of the campers and the adversity quotient of the campers is better than that of the quitters in each learning model.
ABSTRAK Permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh mitra adalah kurangnya kemampuan para guru dalam menggunakan program power point Microsoft sebagai media pembelajaran di kelas. Oleh Program ini bertujuan untuk memotivasi guru sekolah dasar agar memiliki keinginan untuk menggunakan program Microsoft Power point, meningkatkan kemampuan guru sekolah dasar dalam penggunaan teknologi berbasis media dan meningkatkan kreativitas para guru dalam memproduksi model media interaktif yang menggunakan program Power point. Metode yang digunakan adalah ceramah, tanya jawab, praktek langsung/simulasi dengan pendampingan. Kelompok sasaran adalah guru-guru sekolah dasar di Kecamatan Laweyan yang berjumlah 70 guru. Hasil dari pelatihan ini adalah,meningkatnya kemampuan para guru dalam menggunakan Microsoft power point untuk digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran. adapaun persentase kemampuannya adalah sebagai berikut : 80% guru sudah memiliki kemampuan mengoperasikan program power point seperti, membuat dokumen baru, mempresentasikan dokumen, menutup dan menyimpan dokumen. 78% guru juga dapat memasukkan gambar dan video pada slide dokumen untuk disajikan serta 73.75 % guru sudah mampu menambah animasi dan suara pada program powerpoint. The method used is lecture, question and answer, direct practice/simulation with mentoring. Workshop participants were elementary school teachers in Laweyan sub-district with a total of 70 teachers. The result of this training is, the increasing ability of teachers in using Microsoft power point to be used as a medium of learning however, the percentage of skills is as follows, 80% of teachers already have the ability to operate power point programs such as, creating new documents, presenting documents, closing and storing documents. 78% of teachers can also include pictures and videos on document slides for
This study utilized to analyze the implementation of management of school facilities and infrastructure. This type of research is descriptive qualitative conducted in Public Elementary School of 01 Bakipandeyan. Data collection techniques in this study include in-depth interviews (Principals, treasurers, teachers, and school committees) and documentation studies. The validity of the data gathered in this study was technical triangulation (in-depth interviews and documentation) and sources (Principals, teachers, and school committees). Data analysis techniques gather interactive analysis with stages: data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The results showed that the implementation of facilities and infrastructure management in Public Elementary School of 01 Bakipandeyan was carried out through three stages, namely: (1) procurement of facilities (2) utilization and (3) maintenance of facilities and infrastructure. Researchers suggest that schools be better at managing school facilities and infrastructure and looking for specialized workers to manage school facilities and infrastructure.
:-The background was teachers are the key figures in learning process. They influenced fundamentally to their students' progress or lack to achieve the desired result. Teachers play very important roles in educational practice because the teachers conduct a learning teaching process, which is one of the cores of the educational activity. In addition to play their roles, teachers also need strategies and method to maintain conducive classroom environment so that the students are success in learning process and gaining the learning objectives. The purpose of this research was to find out how was the classroom management of English teacher at SMA N Kota Jambi. The design of this research was descriptive qualitative. The subject of the research was an English teacher of SMA N Kota Jambi. Data were collected by using observation, questionnaire, and interview. Based on the observation result the English teacher did the elements relate to the classroom management like teacher created and maintained the students activities in the class so the teaching efficiently and the purpose of the study can be achieved. Based on the questionnaire result, the most students in the second grade students of were enjoy to follow the teacher's activity in teaching and learning process in the classroom. Based on the interview result, the English teacher did the classroom management in the classroom as well as possible, teacher's approach describes how students acquire their knowledge of the language and made good action relate the classroom management condition which promoted successful language learning not only in physicall but also the students' mentality. Finally can be concluded that the classroom management of English teacher at SMA N Kota Jambi was good, based on the the observation, questionnaire, and interview result teacher run her job in the classroom activities.
Budaya literasi merupakan salah satu bagian pendukung implementasi manajemen berbasis sekolah di sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi manajemen berbasis sekolah melalui budaya literasi di sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian ini yaitu kualitatif deskriptif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Sekolah Dasar Negeri di Kecamatan Laweyan, Surakarta. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu wawancara, angket, dan observasi. Analisis data menggunakan analisis interaktif dengan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi manajemen berbasis sekolah melalui budaya literasi di sekolah dasar telah dilaksanakan dengan baik yang dimulai dengan keteladanan dicontohkan oleh guru dan kepala sekolah, ketersediaan program kerja sekolah, pengembangan gerakan literasi melalui kerjasama dengan seluruh warga sekolah, dan pembiasaan dilakukan melalui membaca 15 menit sebelum kegiatan pembelajaran dimulai. Simpulan penelitian ini yaitu sekolah dasar di Laweyan telah melaksanakan manajemen berbasis sekolah melalui budaya literasi dengan baik pada semua jenjang kelas.<p> </p>
ABSTRAK The purpose of this research is (1) to improve the social skill of elementary school students, (2) finding adequate instructional design model to improve students' social skill. The research is conducted in the classroom action research consists of two cycles, every cycle consists of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The average value of Social Skills students in cycle one is 62.01 and 72.52 in the two cycles. The values percentage in the classical mastery of social skills is 40% in cycle 1 and 85.85% in cycle 2. Based on the result, the conclusions are: 1) Model cooperative learning with experiential learning approach, can improve students' social skills. (2) Instructional design to improve the social skills of students in learning social studies is a model of cooperative learning with experiential learning approach Keywords: cooperative model, experiental learning, social skill.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk (1) meningkatkan keterampilan sosial siswa sekolah dasar,(2) menemukan model desain pembelajaran yang memadai untuk meningkatkan keterampilan sosial siswa. Model penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang yang terdiri dari dua siklus, masing-masing siklus memuat perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Hasilnya adalah sebagai berikut: (1) rata-rata keterampilan sosial siswa pada siklus 1 adalah 62,01 dan 72,52 pada siklus 2. Persentase nilai keterampilan sosial siswa adalah 40% pada siklus 1, dan 85,85% pada siklus 2. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, disimpulkan bahwa: (1) model pembelajaran kooperatif dengan pendekatan experiental learning dapat meningkatkan keterampilan sosial siswa, (2) salah satu desain instruksional untuk meningkatkan keterampilan sosial siswa adalah dengan pembelajaran kooperatif yang menggunakan experiental learning Kata kunci: model kooperatif, experiental learning, keterampilan sosial.
