Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) has been considered play an important role for supporting the need of new information and innovation for farmers. Extension and communication based ICTs in developing countries can be used for wider scope of activities including information related to various farming operations. This research discusses a new trend of emergence of ICTs in Bantul Regency for supporting daily life activities of farmer including agricultural activities. Research method of study was descriptive method. In general, farmers have been using television and radio with function for getting information, entertaining, and education. However, hand phone and smart phone to some extent have emerged as additional and important alternative media for farmer. The use of internet via smartphone has newly started to be utilized among farmer in Bantul Regency. Information on agriculture which accessed by farmers was still dominated by production aspect and marketing.
This research aim was to evaluate and analyze Inventory System implementation using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). The data used in this research are primary data and secondary data, collected using several data collection techniques, such as observation, interviews, questionnaires, and literature review. The variables in this research are Perceived Usefulness, Perceived Ease of Use, Attitude Toward Using, Perceived Enjoyment, Acceptance of IT. Processing and analysis of data in this research were using descriptive statistical analysis and simple linear regression analysis, which done by the support of the Application SPSS version 21. The results of this research are as follows 1) perceived ease of use Inventory System has given a positive and significant influence on Perceived Usefulness. 2) Perceived Usefulness Inventory System has given a positive and significant influence on user’s attitude. 3) Perceived Ease of Use has given positive and significant influence on the user’s attitude. 4) Perceived Enjoyment has given positive and significant influence on the user’s attitude. 5) Perceived Usefulness has given a positive and significant influence on the acceptance of IT. 6) Perceived Ease of Use has given positive and significant influence on the acceptance of IT.
Decision making system is a tool for managerial decision making, but decision making must be a variety of different decisions all about making decisions satisfying and satisfying only for one party, in general decision making must be fair to all parties, and also decision making has many goals different that can be mutually beneficial to one another. PT. BPR Pandanaran Jaya gave a gift in the form of Umrah in accordance with the criteria set by the company. This appreciation is also expected to increase the company's spirit in working. However, problems that arise at this time of the process for determining the best employees at PT. BPR Pandanaran Jaya still uses manual methods that cause errors when determining the best Umrah recipient employees, plus the length of work and employee performance that is not nearly the same makes the calculation results become not objective. To assist companies in determining the selection of the best Umrah gift recipients using the Simple Addtive Weighting (SAW) method where each criterion is given weight to distinguish each criterion. After calculating using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method, employees who are eligible to receive the Umrah prize are Dwi Jasminto with a value of 82.50 and also Sindy Yulianti with a value of 81.00.
Information and communication technologies (ICTs) is an alternative source to obtain the information of agricultural innovations. This research aims to investigate the ICTs ownership and the utilization of ICTs for supporting commercial farming activities in Yogyakarta. It was conducted in four sub-district namely Patuk (Gunungkidul Regency), Turi (Sleman Regency), Sanden (Bantul Regency) and Panjatan (Kulon Progo Regency). Farmer samples were selected by simple random sampling technique.The total sample was 120 peasants. The research results show that smartphone and mobile phone are the most popular media owned by farmers although the utilities is limited to dial function. Internet access in smartphone is not functional because of the signal difficulty in some areas. The utilization of ICTs for supporting commercial farming activities which includes for searching agricultural information. Technical production is the popular topic farmer search from electronic media, including smartphone, mobile-phone, radio, and television. Farmers also access marketing information mostly from mobilephone and smartphone. They sometimes watch success stories of a farmer from television since this topic can inspire them to work harder as farmers. Human interest, policy and funding are not the popular topic they search from electronic media.
Sektor pertanian konvensional yang selama ini menitikberatkan pada teknik modern maupun input sarat teknologi telah menyebabkan marginalisasi sistemik di dunia pertanian. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui perubahan sosial ekonomi petani pasca penerapan mina padi dan mengetahui peran aktor dalam penerapan mina padi di KPI Mina Murakabi, Seyegan, Kabupaten Sleman. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan desain deskriptif. Perubahan sistem budidaya konvensional ke mina padi berdampak terhadap perubahan sosial ekonomi meliputi peningkatkan pendapatan, pengeluaran, luas lahan, bantuan, dan asset, membuka lapangan kerja, menambah jejaring petani dengan stake holders, dan meningkatkan keaktifan petani dalam kelompok. Aktor tersebut meliputi Kementerian Kelautan dan Perikanan, FAO, Dinas Kelautan dan Perikanan DIY, Dinas Pertanian, Pangan, dan Perikanan Kabupaten Sleman, BP4 Wilayah III Kabupaten Sleman, Pemerintah Desa Margoluwih, Penyuluh Perikanan, dan KPI Mina Murakabi. Aktor berperan dalam kegiatan penyuluhan, modal, budidaya mina padi, dan pasca panen.
