The study of productivity effects of changes in education, work experience, and age of labor force is of paramount importance because it has a direct impact on high and low performers among organizations. However, there is a significant gap in studies on exploring the quality of such work-life in Indonesia. This study seeks to analyze 1) the productivity effects of changes in education and age of the labor sector; 2) the productivity effect of work experience; and (4) the productivity effects of wages on craftsmen's lurik weaving fabric in Klaten district of Indonesia. The results drawn from this study show that 1) the level of education has significant effects on labor productivity; 2) the age composition of the labor force has a significant impact on productivity; 3) work experience can make a significant influence on labor productivity though it has a negative value; and 4) work wages cannot significantly influence on labor productivity.
An effective leadership style application of work discipline in managing human resources in a company will affect the work behavior of employees which will ultimately affect the overall performance of the company. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of leadership style on employee performance and the effect of work discipline on employee performance at PT Era Mulia Abadi Sejahtera in the city of Malang. The instrument of this research used a questionnaire. Samples were taken as many as 30 employees of PT Era Mulia Abadi Sejahtera respondents in the city of Malang. Analysis and data processing using SPSS. The results of this study indicate that leadership style has no effect on employee performance, while work discipline has an effect on employee performance.
Financial distress is carried out before real bankruptcy occurs in an industry. Problems in the finances of an industry are often faced because there are irregularities in it, the company does not have the ability to pay its long-term obligations to the total assets it has, while the margin obtained is not in line with the amount of assets that have been issued. The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors that influence financial distress with independent commissioners and motivation as the independent variables. The population used is the transportation company on the IDX (Indonesian Stock Exchange) for the 2019-2020 period with the purposive sampling method. The analysis technique used multiple linear regression using SPSS 25. The results obtained: motivation has a positive and significant effect on the financial distress variable and the independent board of commissioners has no significant effect on the financial distress variable. This study provides input to enrich the theory of the relationship between the Board of Independent Commissioners and Motivation towards Financial Distress.
The impact of the industrial revolution 4.0 and the Covid-19 pandemic that occurred had an impact on the implementation of the digital economy, it also provided opportunities and challenges for the economic sector. In this study, we will review the application of the implementation of the digital economy to MSMEs, which can be an alternative solution to deal with these conditions. UMKM technology and digital business are defined as a type of venture involving the latest technology in its practices and development. The application of digital concepts in business development can create new business models, experiences and operational codes that will later help to influence consumerism in both products and services that are offered. This research is focused on UMKM in the culinary sector, namely a case study at the Rahma gift center in Kendalrejo Village which had previously been operating before the Covid-19 outbreak hit Indonesia.
In an organization or company, Human Resource Management (HRM) is one element that has a strategic function that supports the success of an organization or company to achieve its goals. The influence of organizational culture and career development in its function, namely managing human resources and providing facilities to these employees in a company will affect employee work behavior which in turn will affect the overall performance of a company. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of organizational culture on employee performance and the influence of career development on employee performance at the Surabaya Wonocolo Tax Service Office. The instrument of this research used a questionnaire. Samples were taken as many as 50 respondents, employees of the Surabaya Wonocolo Tax Service Office. Analysis and data processing using SPSS. The results of this study indicate that organizational culture has no effect on employee performance, while career development has an effect on employee performance.
Most of the tourism villages in Rumah Budaya Watulimo and Regencies only present the potential for local beauty of their respective regions, but have not yet touched on the development of creative industries by utilizing the existing potentials in those areas. The development of a tourism village generally has a positive impact on the life of the village community, especially the physical environment, economic, social and cultural conditions of the community around the tourist area. However, the addition of creative industries will be able to have a more positive impact on the people's economy. This study aims to implement community empowerment, especially for women and children as educational media in developing creative industry-based tourism villages in Trenggalek and districts. This research includes action research. The community empowerment strategy refers to the Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) methodology or Asset-Based Community Assistance. In terms of implementation. The collected research data is then processed and analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the implementation of community empowerment was carried out through the fashion creative industry in the tourist village and training in the corncob craft creative industry. The involvement of women in the corncob creative industry training is given starting from the processing of raw materials to a variety of products, as well as training in packing models and marketing programs, so that they are not only able to produce but also able to do marketing. In terms of involving children, this training is provided in the form of providing education on knowledge and skills ranging from processing raw materials to various products, besides that children are also taught about the creativity of the exhibition or display of products from the handicraft.
This study examines the effect of organizational commitment, leadership, and compensation on employee performance. The sample in this study were 40 employees at PT Tustlog Total Solusindo in Surabaya. The analytical tool used is multiple linear regression. The results showed that simultaneously the variables of organizational commitment, leadership and compensation had an effect on employee performance, while partially leadership and compensation variables had a positive effect on employee performance, while the organizational commitment variable had no effect on employee performance at PT Trustlog Total Solusindo Surabaya. And the most dominant variable in its influence on employee performance is the leadership variable
Penelitian ini mengkaji dan menguji pengaruh kompetensi, pelatihan, dan disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan pada PT. Mitrainti Sejahtera Eletrindo. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 32 orang yang diambil menggunakan teknik simple random sampling dari jumlah populasi sebesar 35 orang yang berstatus karyawan tetap pada PT. Mitrainti Sejahtera Eletrindo. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan data antara lain melalui wawancara, kuesioner, observasi, dan studi pustaka. Alat analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel kompetensi, pelatihan, dan disiplin berpengaruh signifikan baik secara simultan maupun parsial terhadap kinerja karyawan pada PT. Mitrainti Sejahtera Eletrindo. Variabel disiplin kerja berpengaruh paling dominan terhadap variabel kinerja. Variabel kompetensi, pelatihan, dan disiplin kerja mempunyai pengaruh secara keseluruhan sebesar 46,5%, sedangkan 53,5% dipengaruhi variabel lain. Saran untuk PT. Mitrainti Sejahtera Eletrindo untuk mempertahankan dan lebih meningkatkan kompetensi, pelatihan dan disiplin kerja karena memiliki pengaruh signifikan dalam meningkatkan kinerja karyawan. Ketiga variabel ini hendaknya dilakukan peningkatan sehingga dapat meningkatkan kinerja karyawan yang optimal.
