Tujuan program pengabdian masyarakat ini antara lain melatih pengurus panti dan anak disabilitas untuk mandiri secara ekonomi dengan melalui kokedama. Keberlanjutan program Panti Asuhan Luar Biasa Asih dalam mengembangkan kokedama dan mewujudkan bioentrepreneurship secara mandiri. Terjalin hubungan sinergis antara tim pengabdian, panti asuhan, masyarakat dalam mengembangkan produk kokedama. Metode pelaksanaan yang dilakukan dalam kegiatan ini adalah: (1) sosialisasi program (2) pelatihan pembuatan kokedama sesuai dengan jenis ketunaan secara inklusi (3) pemasaran produk di Car free day Madiun dan pemasaran melalui media sosial. Hasil dari kegiatan yaitu Panti Asuhan Luar Biasa Asih terampil dalam pembuatan kokedama meskipun dengan keterbatasan fisik atau mental yang dimiliki. Produk kokedama cocok diterapkan untuk bioentreprenurship karena cara pembuatan mudah dan memanfaatkan limbah menjadi produk bernilai jual.
This study aims to examine the effectiveness of problem-based learning (PBL) model with an assessment rubric on the students' critical thinking development in learning financial accounting. This quasi-experimental study conducted at a university in Riau, Sumatra, Indonesia involved 41 second-year students. They were divided into two groups: 22 students in the experimental group, 19 students in the control group. Pre-test and post-test were used to examine the effectiveness level. The data analysis techniques included descriptive statistical test and Mann-Whitney Test. The results showed that the mean scores of the pre-test and post-test in the experimental group were 47 and 60 respectively. The mean scores of the pretest and post-test in the control group were 54 and 50 respectively. Moreover, the Mann-Whitney Test results showed that the value of Sig. (2-tailed)> alpha, that was 0.114> 0.05, indicating that Ho was accepted, and Ha was rejected. It indicates that albeit not significantly, the use of assessment rubric in the PBL model could increase the students' learning outcomes in the experimental group as compared with the students in the control group using PBL model only. It could improve the students' critical thinking skills. The limitations of the study and implications to future inquiries are also presented.
Pengaruh Due Professional Care dan Akuntabilitas Auditor terhadap Kualitas Audit.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan memberikan bukti empiris pengaruh Due Professional Care dan Akuntabilitas Auditor Terhadap Kualitas Audit. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis statistik deskriptif dan regresi linear berganda dengan penggunaan Program SPSS. Sampel yang digunakan berdasarkan semua jumlah populasi auditor pada Kantor Inspektorat Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan yaitu 47 auditor. Metode pengumpulan data penelitian dilakukan dengan metode kuesioner. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa due professional care dan akuntabilitas auditor berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kualitas audit baik secara parsial maupun simultan.
This service activity aims to increase teacher digital literacy in blended learning. The method used in service activities was the assistance carried out by observation, preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The dedication partner was Rumbio Jaya State Senior High School 4. The instrument for evaluating this activity used a questionnaire which was analyzed descriptively. The results of the community service that had been carried out and evaluated showed an increase in teacher digital literacy. This increase was shown by the teacher's understanding before the activity, from an average score of 3.11 to an average of 3.30 after the activity was carried out. However, even though there has been an increase, teachers still need to maximize their ability to use technology to support the implementation of blended learning better.
This research is aimed to increase the activeness and critical thinking skills of students by applying the problem based learning model. The type of research is classroom action research. The research was conducted at the Accounting Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Islamic University of Riau. The research subjects were 1st semester students, who took the Introduction to Management course for the 2020/2021 academic year. The data in this study were obtained from observation sheets and test instruments. The data analysis technique used descriptive analysis for aspects of activeness and critical thinking skills. The results showed that the average of students’ activeness in the first cycle reached 74.5% (fair category) and in the second cycle students' activeness reached 86% with good category. Then, students’ critical thinking in the first cycle reached 77% in the Fair category, and in the second cycle it gained 86% in the good category. Therefore, there is an increase in students’ activeness and critical thinking skills by applying the problem based learning model. Based on the research findings, the researcher would like to propose the following suggestions namely: 1) Making the students more motivated during online learning by using problem-based learning, 2) Appreciating the students’ ideas to make them more confident, 3) The research was only composed of two cycles, so that the next researchers can carry out more than two cycles to maximize student’s activeness and critical thinking. This study also still has limitations, namely, the questions used are only in the form of essay questions and have not used varied question instruments.
<span lang="EN-US">This research scrutinized the scientometric objectivity of school leadership research in Asia. Publication records between 2018 and 2022 were extracted from Scopus and the Web of Science, after which the bibliographic data set was administered using ScientoPy and VOSviewer. A total of 958 publications were issued over the last five years, with 2020 having the highest number of published articles. The International Journal of Innovation, Creativity and Change was the most productive source (26 papers), Hallinger was the most published author, and “Examining school leadership effects on student achievement: the role of contextual challenges and constraints” had the most significant impact with 33 citations. The top 10 keywords were “leadership,” “higher education,” “transformational leadership,” “principal,” “education,” “school principals,” “school leadership,” “instructional leadership,” “educational leadership,” and “organizational commitment.” With 240 publications, Indonesia was Asia’s leading contributor in this research domain. The results indicated that school leadership research is important. It is recommended that future researchers extend this research to other regions, such as Africa, North America, South America, Antarctica, Europe, and Australia, to gain a fuller picture of school leadership studies across the world.</span>
Desa Tokalimbo memiliki beberapa objek wisata dan UKM yang perlu dikembangkan. Pariwisata yang terkenal di desa Tokalimbo yakni pesisir dana Towuti yang menjadi daya tarik wisatawan lokal maupun nasional. Namun, pengelolahaan yang bersifat konvensional membuat objek wisata pesisir danau Towuti masih perlu pengelolahan yang layak dan lebih modern dengan memanfaatkan platform digital sebagai sarana promosi. Adapun Tujuan pada pengabdian ini yaitu mengembangkan objek wisata dan memberdayakan Kelompok UKM yang ada di pesisir danau Towuti desa Tokalimbo. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan Subsitusi IPTEKS, Pelatihan, Pendampingan dan Evaluasi. Adapun hasil dalam pengabdian ini yaitu penerapan TTG (teknologi Tepat Guna) dalam bentuk website serta peningkatan keteramilan Kelompok UKM serta peningkatan Promosi objek wisata baik wisata alam, buatan maupun budaya.Kesimpulan dalam kegiatan ini yaitu pengabdian yang dilakukan olem tim pengabdi telah mampu meningkatkan keterampilan masyarakat dan kelompok UKM dan mampu mengadopsi teknologi tepat guna yang di hibahkan kepada mitra dalam bentuk website yakni Desa Tokalimbo.
Pertumbuhan ekonomi semua provinsi yang ada di Pulau Sulawesi selama tahun 2011-2019 cenderung mengalami penurunan setiap tahunnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk mengetahui seberapa besar efek masing-masing faktor penentu pertumbuhan ekonomi yaitu belanja pendidikan, belanja kesehatan, modal manuia, dan perdagangan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif, data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah data sekunder berupa data panel provinsi yang ada di Pulau Sulawesi selama tahun 2011-2019. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan penelusuran online dan teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan model struktural. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara langsung belanja pendidikan memiliki efek positif siginifkan terhadap angka rata-rata lama sekolah, belanja kesehatan memiliki efek positif signifikan terhadap angka harapan hidup, perdagangan tidak memiliki efek signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi, angka rata-rata lama sekolah memiliki efek negatif terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi, dan angka harapan hiduo tidak memiliki efek signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi. Secara tidak langsung belanja pendidikan memiliki efek negatif signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi dan belanja kesehatan memiliki efek positif signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi.
