Marine safety has promoted the non-violent transportation of goods and property through technological innovation, risk management, and regulations. Accordingly, the study of the evolution of the scientific domain in marine safety is vital. This study discusses the bibliometric review of academic publications performed in marine safety research over 58 years from 1962 till 2020. The assessment is based on the Scopus database and various bibliometric indicators, including publication output growth, citations, and author’s keywords. This study also generated graphical visualisations of bibliometric mapping through VOSviewer software. This study showed that the number of publications on marine safety research has fluctuated with a hike publication in 2020. Moreover, the results tended to indicate that marine safety research is mainly based on engineering scopes. Therefore, the bibliometric review could provide a conscientious and comprehensive view of marine safety research that could benefit marine safety practitioners, academics, and researchers interested in fostering their future exploration in this field.
The sports industry has been one of the most negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. This bibliometric analysis aims to analyze the characteristics of the literature on sports activities during COVID-19 published in the Scopus database. Year of publication, type of publication, publication stage, language, country, institution, scientific source, author, and keywords are used as parameters in the analysis of sports activities and Covid-19. A thorough examination of 1480 documents from 2020 to 2023 (as of June 23, 2022) revealed four were issued and 1476 were analysed. According to the findings, the most publications occurred in 2021, with 805 documents. United States became the most active country with a total of 302 documents. With 160 documents, the International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health was the most productive scientific source. The most common type of article documents (n = 1,116, 75,61%) Publication status: final (n = 1374, 93.08%). Most types of sources are journals (n = 1,449, 98.17%). There is a wide gap in the productivity of publications in the field of sports activities during the COVID-19 pandemic between countries with strong and large sports traditions and countries with developing sports traditions.
Halal tourism has grown in popularity due to the rise of the Muslim population; howbeit it is still a relatively new field. This study aimed to evaluate halal tourism’s publication trends, research areas, prolific sources, most cited documents, co-authorship concerning authors, institutions and countries, and keywords co-occurrence. Using the Scopus database, 118 halal tourism publications were disseminated between 2010 and 2020. This study found an increase in halal tourism in 2018, and the rate increased to 42 in 2020. It can be construed that halal tourism draws in a variety of research areas. Indonesian scholars have been contributed to 26.42% of the overall publications, which leading 34 other countries. Authors’ keywords of ‘Islamic tourism’, ‘Muslim tourists’, ‘halal hospitality’, ‘customer satisfaction’, ‘halal certification’ and ‘religiosity’ have substantially impacted the online search for information. This bibliometric study offers a comprehensive and in-depth glance at halal tourism, which could aid industry and academia.
Educational innovation, in its early days, aims to improve educational quality. Active and experiential learning, as well as authentic assessment, are examples of educational innovation. The goal of high-impact practices is to make education more intentional, coherent, developmental, and transformative. This paper examines the evolution of educational innovation research conducted globally based on the Scopus and WoS database. The parameters considered in this study embrace the growth of publications, suubject areas, source titles, countries, institutions, author and authors’ keywords. Another intriguing finding concerns the source title; the Journal of Physics: Conference Series leads 18 publications. In addition, this study indicated that Putra A.B.N.R., of the Universitas Negeri Malang in the Indonesia, is the most active author, having published 6 documents. Other databases, such as PubMed and Google Scholar, can be used to obtain more detailed metadata. Our research contributes to future research trends by providing visualisation and cutting-edge knowledge of educational innovation
College sports have a significant impact on sport development. This study aims to provide a comprehensive elaboration by describing the publication's descriptive parameters, visualizing the citation pattern, extracting the author's keywords, and determining the impact and performance of research on college sports. This study includes an orientation for researchers to better understand advances in collegiate sports-related scientific publications. A thorough examination of the 947 documents found in the Scopus database was conducted from 1869 to 2022. According to the findings, the number of publications fluctuated, with 2021 having the highest number of publications. Among the 49 other countries, scholars from China accounted for approximately 325 of total global publications. Furthermore, with a total of 55 documents, the Journal of Medicine and Science in Sports and Exercise is one of the most productive scientific sources. Overall, this topic's research is evolving, with new methods and directions being established. As a result, an in-depth examination of collegiate sports in a variety of research areas can help researchers and practitioners advance prospective knowledge in these fields.
Laboratory safety has become a priority for the reduction of occupational health risks among public health workers in developed countries. Analysing this scientific domain’s evolution and creation is essential. This review discusses the bibliometric data of scholarly research performed in laboratory safety in seven decades (1949 to 2020). The review uses the Scopus database and a wide variety of bibliometric metrics, that include publications, citations, and publishing patterns. A graphical visualisation of bibliographic details using the VOSviewer software is also presented. Results show that the number of studies covering this subject has fluctuated with the highest number of publications was 47 in 2016. Often, by reviewing publications and research areas, it can be construed that laboratory safety research is diverse. The bibliometric review conducted offers a rigorous and thorough view of laboratory safety research that may be beneficial to occupational safety and health practitioners and researchers keen in the pursuit of enhancing or discovering new knowledge in this field.
The study purpose was to look into the production of scientific publications on the Philosophy of Sports and Physical Education. Materials and methods. Scopus and Web of Science databases and various bibliometric indicators such as global publication trends, most active authors, number of citations, and author keywords were used to collect publications. Results. A total of 1103 publications on the philosophy of sport and physical education were found from 1981 to 2021. This review used data in comma-separated values (CSV) format for Scopus, which was then exported to Microsoft Excel and text documents in WoS format, as well as ScientoPy software. The research findings provide information that, from 1981 to 2021, publications experienced a fluctuating trend in quantity. Starting in 2016, publications have reached double digits, with the number of publications reaching 71 documents. The United States is listed as the most productive country with a number of published documents as high as 226 academic scientific works. Ryall, E., University of Gloucestershire, United Kingdom, became the most prolific author with a total of 33 publications. The Department of Philosophy in the United States is at the forefront of publications with 39 documents. Conclusions. A number of limitations in this study are unavoidable. First, the research method used by researchers is not completely perfect, including how to find documents, categorize documents, and document provider databases, which cannot be ignored. Researchers believe that this scientometric research provides important information about future research directions in the philosophy of sport and physical education.

It is indicated that vocational education has immensely influenced life and plays a vital role in evolving societies worldwide. Thus, analysing these scientific domains evolution and creation are essential. The study uses the Scopus database and a wide variety of bibliometric metrics, including publications, citations, and publishing patterns. A graphical visualisation of bibliographic details using the VOS viewer software is also presented. Results show that the number of studies covering this subject has fluctuated, with the highest number of publications being 65 in 2020. Often, by reviewing publications and research areas, it can be construed that higher vocational education research is diverse, including social sciences, computer science, and engineering. The bibliometric review conducted offers a rigorous and thorough view of higher vocational education research that may benefit higher vocational education practitioners and researchers keen on the pursuit of enhancing or discovering new knowledge in this field.
