One of the skills that must be mastered by students in the 21st century is critical thinking skills. These skills are still low in students in Indonesia, so there needs to be an effort to improve them. Developing instruments for assessing critical thinking skills can optimize assessment for learning functions. Preliminary research conducted at one of the high schools in Tanjungpinang found that the assessment instruments used were not oriented towards critical thinking skills. The purpose of this study is to develop a valid and reliable instrument for assessing critical thinking skills. This type of research is Research and Development. Product development procedures through 3 stages of research, namely introduction, design, and development. The preliminary stage consists of field studies and literature studies. The design phase consists of designing research products and research instruments. The development stage is theoretical validation (by experts) and empirical validation. The results of the study show that the instruments developed refer to the aspects and indicators of critical thinking skills by Ennis (2015). Abstrak. Tecnnology pedagogycal and content knowledge (TPACK) merupakan kompetensi abad 21 yang harus dikuasai oleh guru. Telah banyak penelitian yang dilakukan tentang TPACK namun menghubungkan TPACK dengan media pembelajaran masih terbatas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kompetensi TPACK pada media pembelajaran guru Biologi SMA. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada seluruh SMA negeri yang ada di Kota Tanjungpinang sebanyak 7 SMA Negeri dengan sampel sejumlah 22 guru biologi. Prosedur penelitian diawali koordinasi awal dengan pihak sekolah dan kesepakatan jadwal penelitian, dilanjutkan dengan penyusunan instrumen dan pelaksanaan penelitian. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan angket terbuka yang berisi sesuai dengan aspek TPACK terdiri atas Tecnologycal Knowledge dan Pedagogycal Content Knowledge. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa guru biologi sebagian besar telah memanfaatkan media dalam pembelajarannya dan juga memiliki kemampuan yang sederhana dalam mendesain media pembelajaran. Media pembelajaran yang dimanfaatkan dan didesain sebagian besar baru berupa powerpoint. Kompetensi TPACK untuk aspek TK berada pada kategori sangat baik, begitu juga untuk aspek PCK guru biologi SMA kota Tanjungpinang berada pada kategori sangat baik. Kompetensi TPACK pada media pembelajaran guru biologi SMA kota Tanjungpinang baru sebatas memanfaatkan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi yang sederhana dan mudah untuk digunakan serta mudah dalam pengembangan dan mendesain. Pedagogycal technology and content knowledge (TPACK) is a 21st century competence that must be mastered by the teacher. There have many studies conducted on TPACK but connecting TPACK with learning media is still limited. This study aims to analyze TPACK competence at learning media Biology high school teachers in Tanjung Pinang City. It was conducted in 7 senior high schools in Tanjungpinang City with 22 biology teachers as a samples. Procedure started by coordination with the school and an agreement of tstudy schedule, followed by preparation of instrument and implementation of the study. This study used open questionnaires in accordance with aspects of TPACK such as Tecnologycal Knowledge and Pedagogycal Content Knowledge. The results of this study indicate that most biology teachers have used the media in their learning and also have a simple ability to design instructional media. The learning media that are utilized and designed are mostly new in the form of powerpoints. TPACK of biology teachers is in the excellent category for TK, as well as for PCK category Tanjungpinang city high school biology teacher is in the very good category. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PkM) ini bertujuan untuk: (1) memberikan pengenalan kepada guru-guru IPA SMP Kota Tanjungpinang mengenai media pembelajaran Virtual Reality sebagai alternative media pembelajaran berbasis IT, dan (2) melatih guru-guru IPA SMP Kota Tanjungpinang untuk mampu memanfaatkan media pembelajaran berbasis Virtual Reality. Kegiatan dilakukan dengan metode pelatihan yang dilakukan selama 3 tahap, tahap pertama pelatihan terkait pengenalan macam-macam media pembelajaran yang digunakan sesuai dengan perkembangan Revolusi Industri 4.0 salah satu media yang digunakan adalah media pembelajaran berbasis Virtual Reality. Pelatihan tahap 2 dengan materi tentang pelatihan penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis Virtual Reality dalam pembelajaran serta tahap ketiga melakukan evaluasi dan pemantapan. Kegiatan pelatihan yang dilakukan mendapat respon positif dari guru-guru ditunjukkan dengan antusiasme peserta selama kegiatan serta sikap positif untuk mengaplikasikan media pembelajaran berbasis Virtual Reality dalam kegiatan pembelajaran sesuai dengan perkembangan teknologi informasi di era Revolusi Industri 4.0.
High school students should be able to think critically in responding to myths related to exclusive breastfeeding and family planning programs, because they are used to thinking scientifically. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of critical thinking skills of students on exclusive breastfeeding material and family planning programs in SMA Negeri I Bintan Timur. This quantitative descriptive study was conducted in the even semester of the 2018/2019 school year. The sample in this study amounted to 100 students who were determined using the Random Sampling technique. The data in this study are students' critical thinking skills. Researchers collected data using test instruments in the form of essay questions and interview rubrics. The instrument was developed based on aspects of critical thinking, namely: (1) Basic clarification; (2) Bases for a decision; (3) Inference; (4) Advanced clarification; (5) Supposition and integration; (6) Abilities facilitate the other abilities. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using a statistical formula in the form of a percentage. Based on the results of the data analysis, it can be concluded that the critical thinking ability of the 11th grade students of Mathematics and Natural Sciences in East Negeri I Bintan is in the less category. Based on the aspect of critical thinking ability, the results obtained are aspects of basic clarification, bases for decisions, and inference in the good category, aspects of advanced clarification in the less category, while aspects of suppositionand integration and the abilities to facilitate other abilities in the middle category
Pengembangan pulau kecil untuk pemanfaatan ekowisata alam memiliki keterbatasan, salah satunya ukuran yang relatif kecil, sumber daya alam dan manusia yang terbatas sehingga aktivitas pemanfaatan wisata bahari pada ekosistem terumbu karang rentan menimbulkan dampak. Perairan Desa Pulau Duyung terdiri dari beberapa gugusan pulau kecil diantaranya Pulau Duyung, Pulau Salamanang dan Pulau Dasi merupakan gugusan pulau kecil yang memiliki potensi sumberdaya pesisir yang masih alami yang akan dikembangkan sebagai salah satu destinasi wisata bahari di Kabupaten Lingga. Pemanfaatan wisata bahari di pulau kecil rentan menimbulkan dampak terhadap ekosisitem, pengembangan harus memperhatikan batasan kemampuan lahan atau dikenal dengan daya dukung lingkungan. Implementasi konsep daya dukung lingkungan melalui pembatasan kapasitas daya dukung fisik yang mampu ditopang oleh kawasan dalam menerima kunjungan wisatawan di pulau kecil diharapkan mampu meminimalkan dampak negatif bagi ekosistem. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melakukan analisa kesesuaian ekowisata diving dan snorkeling serta kapasitas jumlah pengunjung yang diperbolehkan untuk kegiatan ekowisata diving dan snorkeling pada ekosistem terumbu karang di Perairan Desa Pulau Duyung. Pengamatan data lapangan kondisi status ekosistem karang dilakukan pada April 2014 dan pengumpulan data kualitas air diperoleh pada Agustus 2016. Pengamatan terumbu karang dilakukan dengan metode Line Intersept Transect (LIT). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa persentase tutupan karang hidup di perairan Desa Pulau Duyung berkisar 23–64%, status terumbu karang termasuk dalam kategori sehat dengan persentase tutupan karang hidup rata-rata 36,93 % dengan kategori sedang. Bentuk lifeform terumbu karang terdiri dari Acropora sp, Lithopyllon sp, Montipora sp, Massif sp, Goniastrea sp, Favia sp, Platygyra sp dan Lobophyllia sp. Pulau Duyung dan sekitarnya sangat sesuai dikembangkan untuk ekowisata menyelam dengan nilai indeks kesesuaian wisata (IKW) rata-rata sebesar 80%, dan IKW rata-rata untuk wisata snorkeling mencapai 72,2 dengan kategori sesuai. Hasil perhitungan daya dukung fisik kapasitas pengunjung yang dapat ditampung untuk kegiatan Diving sebanyak 1.484 orang/hari dan snorkeling maksimal 1.431 orang /hari. Development of small islands to be used as natural tourism has limitations, one of which is the relatively small size, limited natural and human resources so that the activity of utilizing marine tourism on coral reef ecosystems is vulnerable to impact. Its development must take into account the limitations of land capability or known as environmental carrying capacity, which is expected to be able to minimize negative impacts in the ecosystem. The purpose of this study was to analyze the suitability of the waters for the development of marine ecotourism and calculate the carrying capacity of the Duyung Island area for Diving and Snorkeling Ecotourism activities. Field observations were carried out in April 2014 and August 2016, data analysis was carried out in May 2020. Observations of coral reefs were carried out using the Line Intercept Transect (LIT) method. The results of the study showed that the percentage of live coral cover on Duyung Island and its surroundings ranged from 23 – 64%, with an overall average of 36.93% or a moderate category.
