The absorptive capacity of the craftsmen in Small Crafts Industry (SCI) to identify new value, and then assimilate and apply it for commercial purposes and win the competition is very necessary to study. This is based on observation that the absorptive capacity of the SCI is relatively low, which leads to lower competitiveness. Around 21 (twenty one) SCI in Gianyar, Bali Province, change their business into other businesses due to being unable to compete in the crafts industry and their absorptive capacity to assimilate and apply new values and new technologies is considered low. This research aims to (1) develop the proposition concept of the influence of creative leadership towards absorptive capacity; (2) attest to the influence of the knowledge-sharing on the absorptive capacity; (3) attest to the influence of creative leadership towards knowledge sharing, and; (4) develop the concept of mediating role of knowledge sharing over the influence of creative leadership against absorptive capacity. The study was done in Gianyar Regency, with a sample of 90 Small Industry Craftsmen (SCI) in 7 (seven) subdistricts. The analysis tool used was the Partial Least Square (PLS). This research identified that the proposition which states that creative leadership influences absorptive capacity is proven positive and significant. Knowledge sharing gives a positive and significant effect on the absorptive capacity. Creative leadership significantly and positively affects knowledge sharing; furthermore, knowledge sharing has been found having partial mediating role over the influence of creative leadership on absorptive capacity.
Background: A chemical compound is a chemical compound present in a natural source that gives it the special properties and characteristics of the plant or animal source. Snail slime is one of the traditional medicines from animals that is used by the community as a traditional medicine for healing minor wounds and toothaches. The aim of this study was to identify the active chemical compounds and antibacterial potential of snail mucus against the bacteria E. foecalis that causes periodontitis. Method: True experiment laboratory research method which is carried out by laboratory analysis of snail mucus to obtain chemical elements, the content of compounds contained in a test sample. The content of active compounds based on the Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GCMS) test. Results: The average content of heparan sulfate with four repetitions was 16.45 mg/100g, Acharan sulfate 21.33 mg/100g, protein achasin 102.22 mg/100g, Glycoconyugat 88.6 mg/100g, Ion Ca2+ 86.2 mg/100g, Beta agglutinins 85.22 mg/100g. Toxicity test was carried out with four repetitions with concentrations of 100%, 50%, 25%, and 12.5%. And the lowest results of the toxicity test were at a concentration of 100% with a value of 0.171, while at a concentration of 50% 0.302, 25% 0.453, and 12.5% 0.768, for bacteria E. Foecalis with an inhibitory power of 23.15 mm, the category was very strong. Conclusion: The active chemical content in snail mucus is Acharan sulfate, achasin protein, Glycoconyugat, Ca2+ ion, Beta agglutinin, and the antibacterial potential of snail mucus against E. foecalis bacteria is very strong.
Posyandu cadre were volunteers that assist the running of health services in Posyandu activities, should have knowledge and skills about the maintenance of oral health, so as to provide information about oral health to the community through posyandu activities. The following problems are known: lack of tool sterility, Sangging has not paid attention to personal protective equipment, there is a tendency for HIV / AIDS sufferers to increase in Bali, the Covid-19 pandemic. The solutions offered are: education on disease transmission that can occur through dental cutting, personal protective equipment, sterilization of the tools, use of disposable tools. The test results with Mann Whitney obtained sig. 0.308 indicates that there is no significant difference between the results of the self-assessment of Sangging behavior between pretest and posttest. This can happen considering that most of Sangging's behavior is very good, except for the ability to sterilize tools because Sangging needs a companion to sterilize tools, the success of socialization about Health Programs during a pandemic. The implementation of community service activities in North Kuta District is going well and it can be concluded that: Sangging behavior is increasing.
Dental health is one of most important things for childrens growth, but in Indonesia there are not many parents who care about childrens dental health, especially in childrens with special needs (disabled children). Childrens with special needs have a higher risk of oral and dental health problems, because they have mental and physical shortcomings and limitations to perform optimal self-cleaning teeth. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of counseling with Dental Health Education video media on tooth brushing behavior and the level of oral and dental hygiene in middle-class mental retirement students in the province of Bali in 2019. This type of research is an experimental community trial with pretest-posttest control group design . The results of research on Tunagrahita students are in the medium category of SLB in Bali Province as many as 200 people. The education level of the respondents consisted of SDLB, SMPLB and SMALB. Students' skills in brushing their teeth before the intervention in the treatment group 100 (100%) need guidance, after the intervention 6 (6%) categories are good, 13 students in the sufficient category and 81 (81%) need guidance. The level of dental hygiene of retarded students was in the moderate category in the treatment group before the intervention with good criteria 15 people, moderate 68 (68%) and bad criteria17 (17%), after the intervention with good criteria 36 (68%), moderate 56 (56%) and bad criteria 8 (8%). The average level of dental hygiene in the treatment group before the intervention was 2.26 and after the intervention 1.87. The Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test statistic results showed that the analysis results obtained a p value (Asymp.sig 2 tailed) of 0,000 less than 0.05. Conclusion there are significant differences in both the skills and oral and dental hygiene in the treatment group and the control group after the intervention is given.
