Concluiu-se que os docentes foram coerentes com as respostas apresentando um con ceito de normalidade dentro de um referencial, num continuum, dando portanto, ao con ceito, uma conotação de flexibilidade e relatividade.ABSTRACT -Psychiatric classification has led to the degradation and social segregation of individuais identified as mental patients, thus contributing to a stigmatizing processoThe objective of the present study was to determine the emotional symptoms that Nur sing teachers consider normal and abnormal, how they perceive themselves within this frame of reference and how they look upon psychiatric treatment.
