The aim of this study is to find out students learning interest and its implication toward counseling and guidance service. Research method used is descriptive qualitative. The data taken by questionnaire, observation and interview. There are 30 question on the questionnaire given to 45 students. The questionnare is given to the respondents of counseling and guidance teacher, headmaster, and students. Observation is done by observing the learning process. Data analysis technique is done by collecting, grouping, analyzing, and interpreting the data. The result shows that the analysis of students learning interest and its implication toward counseling and guidance service is in Good Category.
This study aimed to perform relationship between students perceptions on counselling practice with motivational student’s in to individual counselling process. Data collection was conducted against 288 students in Al Hidayah 1 Vocational School - Jakarta. Data analysis used the correlation coefficient test Gamma and Somers'D. The research findings showed coefficient Gamma and Somers'D test reached 0496 with Zhitung > Ztable or 6,523 > 1.96. It means there is a significant relationship and positive direction between the perceptions of students towards counselling and motivation of students followed individual counselling service
MOVIE THERAPY TO DEVELOPING PROSOCIAL BEHAVIOR OF CHILDHOODS. The phase of human life was beginning from the prenatal period and will end in late adulthood. Childhoods is critical age or golden age. In this phase childs tend to be selfish and far form prosocial behavior. This was need to be given intervention. One of intervention than can given through movie therapy. This article aim to describe whether movie therapy can develop prosocial behavior of childhoods. This research used quantitative research with experiment method. Samples in this research was 17 students. Instrument of this research was used prosocial behavior scale. Data were analyzed by sign test. The result shown that movie therapy was able to develop childhoods prosocial behavior. Implications of this findings in teacher and especially school counselors must to try this method to help childhoods with the lack of prosocial behavior. So, happy watching!
learning activities were one of the important factors that need to be developed in learning. In fact, there were still students who have low learning activities. One of the efforts that can be done is through discovery learning. The aimed of this study was to determine whether discovery learning can improve student learning activities. This research was a classroom action research which consists of two cycles. The subjects in this study were students of class X Otomatisasi Tata Kelola Perkantoran with a total of 47 students. The data in this study were collected using observation and questionnaire techniques. The data were analyzed qualitatively and to test the hypothesis used t test with the help of Statistical Product for Service Solution version 20. The results showed that there was an increase in student learning activities through discovery learning.
academic resilience is one component of self that needs to be owned by every student in the face of academic pressure. Uniquely, not all students have optimal academic resilience. This study aims to determine the description of students' academic resilience. This research is a descriptive quantitative research. The population in this study was 204 students. Samples were drawn randomly by determining the magnitude using the Slovin formula at a significance level of 0.05. Through this formula, the number of samples was 135 students. Data were collected through a questionnaire technique and analyzed using descriptive analysis. The results showed that the students' academic resilience was in the medium category. For this reason, efforts are needed from teachers, specifically Guidance and Counseling teachers in improving students' academic resilience.
Prosocial behavior needs to be developed in everyday life by students, including online learning activities. In fact, there were still students who are still unable to behave prosocially in online learning. The role of Guidance and Counseling (BK) teachers is needed as a unit for providing assistance to improve it. This study aims to determine how the role of BK teachers in improving students' prosocial behavior in online learning. This research is a qualitative research with descriptive type. The data in this study were obtained from seven informants, namely principal, vice principal of student affairs, three BK teachers and two students. The five informants are primary data sources. The secondary data obtained through the results of a literature review. Data were collected through interview techniques, observation, and documentation notes. The data were analyzed by componential analysis of the Miles and Huberman model. The data were validated through triangulation technique. The results of the study indicate that the counseling teacher in improving prosocial behavior performs the roles of facilitator, corrector, mediator, and advisor.
This research is aimed to find out the effectivity of content adaptation service in increasing communication skills. It is a quantitative research with experiment approach/ experiment designed used in this research is quasi experimental design in a form of non equivalent control grup design. The research was held in SMP Bunda Kandung and SMP Assaalam Jakarta, by using 42 students as research sample. The sample taken by using nonprobability sampling with sampling purposive technique. Research instrument used is likert scale about students comunication skill. The outcome or the result of the research presented in descriptive statistics analysis and statistics analysis of wilcoxon sign rank test by using SPSS 20 program for windows. We can draw a conclusion that content adaptation service is less able in increasing student communication skill
the aim of this study was to describe the level of organizational citizenship behavior in Guidance and Counseling teachers. This study is a quantitative research with a survey type. This research was conducted on teachers at the senior high school and state vocational high schools in Kendari City. This research is a population study so that a total of 60 Guidance and Counseling teachers at the senior high school and state vocational high schools in Kendari City are the sample in this study. Data is collected through the organizational citizenship behavior scale. Data were analyzed descriptively using percentage analysis. The results of the study concluded that the level of organizational citizenship behavior of Guidance and Counseling teachers is in the medium category. Efforts are needed to improve organizational citizenship behavior in Guidance and Counseling teachers.
