MOVIE THERAPY TO DEVELOPING PROSOCIAL BEHAVIOR OF CHILDHOODS. The phase of human life was beginning from the prenatal period and will end in late adulthood. Childhoods is critical age or golden age. In this phase childs tend to be selfish and far form prosocial behavior. This was need to be given intervention. One of intervention than can given through movie therapy. This article aim to describe whether movie therapy can develop prosocial behavior of childhoods. This research used quantitative research with experiment method. Samples in this research was 17 students. Instrument of this research was used prosocial behavior scale. Data were analyzed by sign test. The result shown that movie therapy was able to develop childhoods prosocial behavior. Implications of this findings in teacher and especially school counselors must to try this method to help childhoods with the lack of prosocial behavior. So, happy watching!
AbstrakKohesivitas keluarga adalah ikatan emosional yang dimiliki anggota keluarga satu terhadap yang lain. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji keefektifan kombinasi strategi empty chair dan reframing dalam meningkatkan kohesivitas keluarga siswa remaja. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuasi-eksperimen. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif untuk mendapatkan data numerikal tentang kohesivitas keluarga pada tiga siswa kelas XII SMA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan setelah diberikan intervensi kombinasi strategi empty dan reframing. Sebagaimana konseli AY skor kohesivitas keluaraga pada baseline 203,00 meningkat menjadi 231,33, konseli YT skor kohesivitas keluarga pada baseline 207,33 meningkat menjadi 240,67, dan konseli PT skor kohesivitas keluaraga pada baseline 211,33 meningkatkan menjadi 239,67. PendahuluanPenggunaan empty chair memungkinkan individu untuk mengatasi elemen yang terpolarisasi dalam pikirannya sendiri, meliputi peristiwa yang belum selesai (unfinished events) dan masalah interpersonal (Goldfried, & Davila, 2005;Ruitenberg, 2011). Teknik proyektif yang terdapat dalam strategi empty chair, dapat mengintegrasikan polaritas yang terjadi (Blom, 2004). Cara tersebut juga dapat membantu individu untuk menjadi sadar tentang perilakunya dalam situasi tertentu, bertanggungjawab atas perilakunya sendiri, menemukan solusi atas suatu masalah, dan untuk menyelesaikan konflik. Sementara itu, reframing (Wiwoho, 2011) adalah upaya untuk membingkai ulang sebuah kejadian dengan mengubah sudut pandang tanpa merubah kejadian itu sendiri. Darminto (2007) mengungkapkan bahwa teknik reframing digunakan untuk membantu konseli membentuk atau mengembangkan pikiran lain yang berbeda tentang dirinya. Bandler, Grinder &Andreas (Geldrad & Geldard 2011) mengungkapkan bahwa pengubahan kerangka pandang atau reframing memberi konseli gambaran yang lebih besar tentang dunianya dan dapat membantu memandang situasi konseli dengan cara yang berbeda dan lebih konstruktif. Pengubahan kerangka pandang harus dilakukan secara sensitif dan hati-hati, kerangka-kerangka pandang baru harus ditawarkan dengan cara yang dapat membuat konseli merasa nyaman untuk memilih apakah akan menerima kerangka pandang tersebut atau menolaknya.Kombinasi strategi empty chair dan reframing dalam penelitian ini adalah suatu proses konseling yang bertujuan membantu siswa dalam peningkatan kohesivitas keluarga, dilakukan kepada siswa yang memiliki tingkat kohesivitas keluarga sangat rendah (disconnected), dengan penggabungan strategi empty chair dan reframing yang meliputi permainan peran menggunakan media kursi dan pengubahan kerangka pandang konseli.
