MOVIE THERAPY TO DEVELOPING PROSOCIAL BEHAVIOR OF CHILDHOODS. The phase of human life was beginning from the prenatal period and will end in late adulthood. Childhoods is critical age or golden age. In this phase childs tend to be selfish and far form prosocial behavior. This was need to be given intervention. One of intervention than can given through movie therapy. This article aim to describe whether movie therapy can develop prosocial behavior of childhoods. This research used quantitative research with experiment method. Samples in this research was 17 students. Instrument of this research was used prosocial behavior scale. Data were analyzed by sign test. The result shown that movie therapy was able to develop childhoods prosocial behavior. Implications of this findings in teacher and especially school counselors must to try this method to help childhoods with the lack of prosocial behavior. So, happy watching!
Stunting is one of the problems that can potentially be experienced by children. This situation is of course not desired by parents, especially mothers. Unfortunately, the understanding of the dangers of stunting is not yet clear for some mothers. For this reason, information services are provided to determine whether information services are able to increase understanding of the dangers of stunting for mothers. This research is an experimental study with a one group pretest-posttest control group design. The population in this study were mothers at the Posyandu Merpati 2, Jatimurni Bekasi city. The sample in this study was drawn purposively with a total of 38 people. Data were collected through the stunting hazard understanding scale. Data were analyzed descriptively and inferentially. The results showed that information services were able to improve understanding of the dangers of stunting for mothers. The implication of the results of this study is that as a type of service in guidance and counseling, the use of information services can be extended to various life settings.
This research aims to (1) perform inventory career planning of students, and (2) measuring students career planning based on gender. Data analysis used Rasch model for 45 students with actual power measurement 0.9272652. The research findings show (1) inventory career planning has been fit with the theoretic model, and (2) female student have a tendency to a higher career planning rather than male student. In the future, to measurement of student's career planning by using this inventory can only produce a high measurement information for students who have a mediocre ability. Further, the researcher need to consider to eliminate item No. 12 in this inventory due to the biased towards the male gender. PendahuluanPeriode Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMK/SMA) merupakan periode yang sangat penting untuk menyiapkan diri siswa guna melanjutkan pendidikan ke perguruan tinggi atau bekerja dan menghindari pengangguran (Kim, 2011;Levinson & Palmer, 2005). Akan tetapi, kemajuan dalam pendidikan dan keterampilan tidak cukup untuk mengurangi pengangguran jika pilihan pendidikan siswa di sekolah tidak sejalan dengan kebutuhan pasar kerja. Hasil studi International Labour Organization (ILO) PBB untuk Indonesia dan Timor Leste mengungkapkan bahwa lebih dari seperempat angkatan muda Indonesia kini menganggur dan masih banyak lagi yang mengerjakan pekerjaan yang tidak sesuai dengan keterampilannya (underemployed) serta tidak menggunakan keterampilannya seoptimal mungkin (International Labour Organization, 2011). Meskipun disadari, bahwa masalah pengangguran merupakan tanggung jawab bersama semua komponen masyarakat dan Pemerintah, namun sebagian besar sekolah di seluruh dunia mengakui bahwa membimbing siswa untuk belajar dan memilih karir yang tepat adalah tanggung jawab besar yang juga diemban oleh sekolah (Beijaard, Brok, & Mittendorff, 2010). Di Indonesia sendiri, bidang pelayanan bimbingan dan konseling karir telah menjadi salah satu arah pelayanan konseling yang diutamakan bersama-sama dengan bidang pelayanan konseling lainnya, yaitu bidang kehidupan pribadi-sosial, pendidikan dan keterampilan, keberagamaan, keluarga, dan kebangsaan (Prayitno et al., 2017).Upaya untuk meminimalkan tingkat pengangguran yang dialami oleh angkatan muda Indonesia salah satunya dapat ditempuh melalui pendidikan vokasional. Di Indonesia, sistem pendidikan vokasional salah satunya ditempuh melalui pendidikan di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK). Dengansemboyan "SMK bisa! Siap kerja, cerdas,dan kompetitif" (Listiara & Alsa, 2011), siswa SMK adalah kelompok pelajar yang dipersiapkan untuk menimba keterampilan, pengetahuan dan kemampuan yang dapat memberikan kontribusi secara nyata terhadap tempat kerja (National Collaborative on Worksforce and Disability, 2008). The aim of this research is to know how much contribution given by information services in counseling and locus of control toward communication between parents and children. This research is a quantitative research using survey. This research was conducted in Komunitas Bunda Condet. The sample for this study came to 44 people taken by saturated sample distribution technique. Data were collected through a questionnaire. Data was analyzed by using multiple regression test with the help of SPSS 22 for windows. The results showed that information services and locus of control contribute to communication between parents and children. These results prove that communication quality can be improved by taking into account information services and locus of control.
