This research aims to uncover the commodification, spatialization, and structuration of Social Media within Cyber Media News in Indonesia. A critical perspective was used to conduct the study using a case study method. Through the use of Vincent Mosco political economy theory of media, the authors conclude that <em>Tribunnews.com</em>, the cyber media news, and the object of this research, makes social media a commodity and a content distribution channel, by involving all parts of the newsroom to utilize social media (structuration). The commodification of content is carried out by making information on social media an initial source for news production. Audience commodification by using the followers of social media accounts as a source of income. This was achieved by offering social media accounts to the advertisers to put their advertisement on official social media accounts. Through the use of social media, journalists are used by <em>Tribunnews.com</em> for profit. Utilization is carried out by distributing journalists’ work to social media, and to other cyber media news included in the media group—without providing additional wages. Spatialization was carried out by using social media as a means of news distribution or amplification. The goal is to reach readers who mostly get their information through the Internet, including through smartphones and social media. Structuration achieved through the formation of a team dedicated to managing the use of social media in the production and distribution of news.

Abstract. The purpose of this study is to apply the α-Sutte Indicator in forecasting data. α-Sutte Indicator is a new forecasting method that was developed in 2017 by Ansari Saleh Ahmar. To see the accuracy of these methods, the forecasting results of the α-Sutte Indicator will be forecasting methods compared to other items, namely: ARIMA and HoltWinters. Based on the results of forecasting, it is found that α-Sutte Indicator has MSE and MAPE values that are lower than other methods (ARIMA and HoltWinters). This is supported by MSE data from α-Sutte Indicator smaller than ARIMA(2,2,2) and HoltWinters i.e. 0.03; 3.06; and 3.15.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah terjadi peningkatan motivasi berprestasi siswa dan untuk mengetahui bagaimanakah peningkatan motivasi berprestasi siswa setelah mendapatkan pembelajaran Teaching Factory 6 Langkah (Model TF-6M). Objek dari penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI B SMK Negeri 1 Majalengka Kompetensi Keahlian Teknik Sepeda Motor yang berjumlah 34 siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode quasi experiment dengan desain one-group pretest-posttest design. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini berupa angket. Motivasi berprestasi siswa mengalami peningkatan setelah mendapatkan pembelajaran Model TF-6M. Peningkatan ketercapaian skor dan n-gain masing-masing sebesar 59,91% dan 0,07.

This article aims to illustrate the pattern of communication between legal Advisor and the defendant in court as one form of communication in the courtroom. This study addresses the research question: how is the communication pattern of legal advisor with the defendant in the courtroom at the Central Jakarta District Court. This research uses qualitative research approach, research method is ethnography of communication, with an interpretive paradigm. The results of this study indicate that communication between the legal advisor with the defendant in the courtroom begins at the time of the indictment hearing, the hearing, the prosecution and the verdict. The form of communication that emerged in the trial process through advocacy. Advocacy is a form of communication of legal Advisor with the defendant, with the primary objective of providing an understanding to the defendant about the legal information and the punishment that the defendant will receive.

Kompas.com is one of the online media pioneers who still exist until now. High competitiveness is shown by this media by being ranked fourth of the most widely read online media in Indonesia based on Alexa data in September 2018. Millennial with an age range of 25-34 years are readers of Kompas.com with the largest percentage in 2017 (38%) and followed by young millennial (18-24 years) at 28%. In order to maintain its existence, Kompas.com certainly must be able to meet the needs of the millennial generation. Media product management capabilities are needed to answer these various needs. Kompas.com does this by creating synergies between formatting, quality, price and influence of content.
