The use of the chicken eggshell with its membrane as low-cost adsorbent had been done to the removal of synthetic dyes in aqueous solution. Adsorption method in the batch system was done to adsorb Methylene Blue and Indigo Carmine as the cationic and anionic dyes. Some parameters were studied such as pH, contact time, initial concentration of dyes and mass of ES+M to find the optimum adsorption. The functional group of ES+M like hydroxyl, amine, carboxyl and thiol were used to binding the dyes. The characteristics of ES+M were determined by FTIR and XRF to analyzed functional group and elements composition before and after adsorption. The adsorption capacity optimum of ES+M to adsorb Methylene Blue was 11.54 mg/g with % RE 92.34% in 30 minutes, and Indigo Carmine was 8.04 mg/g with % RE 64.34% in 15 minutes.

Berdasarkan fakta yang peneliti temukan di lapangan, pada saat peneliti melakukan observasi pada Taman Kanak-kanak umumnya ternyata masih kurang optimal dalam pengembangan nilai agama dan moral pada anak usia dini. Dengan kenyataan kurangnya pelaksanaan metode-metode yang dilakukan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah dengan pendekatan kualitatif menggunakan format deskriptif yaitu dengan metode observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tentang implementasi nilai agama dan moral melalui metode esensi pembinaan prilaku di Taman Kanak-Kanak Lab. The aim of this study is to investigate antioxidant activity and total phenolic content of ethyl acetate fraction of Sembung leaves. Sembung (Blumea balsamifera L.) is a plant that has the potential as an antioxidant because it contains secondary metabolites of alkaloids, steroids, flavonoids, saponins, and phenolic compounds. In this study, antioxidant activity was tested by using 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) for free radical scavenging activity assay. Evaluation of total phenolic content was tested by using the Folin-Ciocalteau method. The results showed that the ethyl acetate fraction of Sembung leaves possess showed medium antioxidant activity with IC50 valueof 221.821 compare with reference standard ascorbic acid with IC50 value 68.25 ppm. The ethyl acetate fraction of Sembung leaves has a total phenolic content of 161.101 mg GAE/g. This study provided that Blumea balsamifera leaves possess antioxidant.

The purpose of writing is to explain the theory teaching of design and application of storyboard. That has not been used in developing the character of children aged 6-8 years, during this time the media used in developing the character of the child is carried out through flannel board media in teaching Indonesian children. A Storyboard is teaching media to design a variety of images in the development of children's characters. Thus making the design a more enjoyable and interesting storyboard. Storyboard design can be used offline that facilitate face to face teaching. Storyboard makes teaching material the form of a slide on the computer. teaching that combines text, images, and multimedia. Which aims to develop character education in early childhood.

Extract of Phaleria macrocarpa leaves have been studied as corrosion inhibitor for mild steel of hydrochloric acid solution 2.0 N. The efficiency of inhibition was evaluated by gasometric method and electrochemical analysis. The temperature and concentration effects on the inhibitors performance were also investigated. The result obtained showed that the extract is one of promising candidate as an inhibitors for the corrotions of mild steel in HCl media, inhibition efficiency increase as the extract concentration is evaluated. The activation energy (Ea) increase with the addition of the extract. Where inhibition of extract on the steel surface obey modified Langmuir isotherm equation. Potentiodynamic polarization curve indicated the Phaleria macrocarpa leaves extract play role as the anodic type inhibitor. PENDAHULUANDalam proses industri, biasanya digunakan larutan asam untuk membersihkan kerak dan karat yang melekat di permukaan baja. Asam yang banyak digunakan adalah asam klorida, akan tetapi proses ini dapat menyebabkan campuran dari baja tersebut terkorosi sehingga ketahanannya berkurang [1] . Penambahan inhibitor ke dalam medium korosif merupakan salah satu metode yang digunakan untuk melindungi permukaan baja dan untuk menurunkan laju korosi yang terjadi. Inhibitor dapat menghalangi ion-ion agresif dengan membentuk lapisan yang teradsorbsi pada permukaaan baja [2] .Pada umumnya, inhibitor korosi berasal dari senyawa organik dan anorganik yang mengandung gugus yang memiliki pasangan elektron bebas, seperti: nitrit, kromat, fospat, urea, fenilalanin, imidazolin, dan senyawasenyawa amin [3] . Inhibitor tersebut sebagian besar berasal dari senyawa sintetis yang bersifat toksik dan tidak ramah lingkungan. Oleh karena itu, banyak peneliti yang mengembangkan penggunaan ekstrak tumbuhtumbuhan sebagai inhibitor terutama untuk baja dalam medium asam, seperti: daun kemangi [4] , lidah buaya [5] , daun mint, daun kopi, mangga, jeruk, serikaya, daun tembakau, dan kentang [6] .Untuk ikut berkontribusi dalam pengembangan inhibitor korosi dari bahan-bahan alami, maka peneliti menggunakan ekstrak dari daun mahkota dewa (Phaleria macrocarpa ) dengan tujuan mengetahui keefektifan inhibisi ekstrak pada korosi baja dalam medium asam. Refill drinking water is a choice of drinking water, especially for the middle-income community due to the convenience and affordable price. Many studies in Indonesia reported that drinking water from drinking water refilling stations is less safe or contaminated by coliform. This study assessed the microbial and level of several heavy metals (Cadmium, chromium, and Lead) contamination on refill drinking water from drinking water refilling station in Bungus Teluk Kabung West Sumatera, Indonesia. It found that Cadmium, Chromium, and Lead were detected in all samples. Still, none of their levels exceed the maximum permissible limits based on the guideline value on Ministry of Health Republic of Indonesia number 492/MENKES/PER/IV/2010. Lead was found as the highest amount in sample B and then Chromium in sample A with values of 0.367 ppb and 0.143 ppb. The microbial contamination presence in all three refill drinking water samples with the total coliform was 28, 15, and 240 MPN per 100 ml for samples A, B, and C. Sample C has the highest microbial risk compare to A and B. The presence of E. Coli was also confirmed for all samples, and the metallic sheen identified it in all culture samples. Because the standard of the microbial parameter must be zero for coliform and E. Coli, these results revealed that all three refill drinking water samples from drinking water refilling stations Bungus Teluk Kabung are not eligible for direct consumption and could harm human health. The proper water treatment process or change in raw water sources need to be considered in the future. Inspection and monitoring from the health authority should be scheduled regularly to protect the consumers.
