This study aims to see the effectiveness of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model on student learning outcomes in the subject of electric motor installation in class XI TITL SMKN 1 Kec. Guguak. The achievement of student learning outcomes in excessive competence is disappointing with the average student scoring below the SKM. one of the causes of the low grades of students is because the teacher-centred learning techniques are still being applied. As a result, students have difficulty understanding the material that is applied to students' failure in certain subjects. This study uses a quantitative approach with the type of Pre-Experimental using a one class posttest design. The object of this research is the Problem based learning (PBL) model and the effectiveness of learning outcomes that will occur in the subject of electric motor installation. The subjects in this study were students of class XI TITL at SMKN 1 Kec. Guguak. The research instrument used in this study was in the form of posttest questions in an objective form. As a result of the research giving the effect of posttest scores before applying the example of Problem-Based Learning is Good. Based on the results of the classical completeness test, namely Effective. It was concluded that the Problem Based Learning learning method was said to be effective because the classical completeness value was included in the High category.

Matrix converter is a good choice for Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) drives, because it has high power density and does not require dc-link energy storage. the disadvantages of conventional matrix converter is using 18 active switches, so it becomes expensive and the modulation method becomes more complicated than back to back converter. To minimize this problem, this paper proposes variable speed drive of PMSM using Ultra Sparse Matrix Converter (USMC) based on Direct Torque Control (DTC) methods. This converter uses only 9 active switches, making it cheaper than conventional matrix converter. DTC is designed based on Space Vector Modulation (SVM) to reduce torque and flux ripples due to  the hysteresis control in conventional DTC. The simulation results show that DTC based SVM using USMC effectively controls the rotor speed with low torque and flux ripples.

Pelaksanaan program ini dilatar belakangi oleh tingkat penguasaan guru SMK Negeri Kota Payakumbuh yang masih rendah dan penggunaan trainer PLC yang ada belum optimal dalam pembelajaran. Media pembelajaran praktikum yang digunakan masih belum tertata dengan baik, belum efektif digunakan dan membutuhkan waktu lama dalam pengoperasian.Jenis pengembangan program ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development).Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang menggunakan prosedur penelitian Borg and Gall. Hasil kajiandiperoleh bahwa validitas Trainer PLCsebesar 90% dengan kategori valid. Praktikalitas trainer PLCyang dihasilkan dengan kriteria sangat praktis dengan rata-rata sebesar 96. Efektifitas trainer yang dihasilkan dengan kriteria efektif dengan rata-rata 86,9%.

Motor DC merupakan salah satu jenis motor yang banyak masih digunakan saat sekarang ini. Motor DC sangat membantu didalam dunia perindustrian. Pada motor DC dibutuhkan sistem untuk mengoperasikannya, yaitu tujuannya mengatur kecepatan motor DC dengan mengendalikan nilai PWM(Pulse Width Modulation)pada saat pengoperasiannya. Perancangan alat ini menggunakan software dan hardware. Adapun komponen Hardware diantaranya rangkaian, catu daya, Arduino, sensor kecepatan, sensor tegangan, sensor arus, gate drive, motor DC dan Software Pemograman bahasa C. Tahap pengujian yang dilakukan yaitu mengukur output tiap komponen. Jika sudah sesuai persyaratan maka siap dioperasikan. Dari hasil pengujian rangkaian keseluruhan yang dilakukan diberikan setpoin kecepatan 500 rpm yang divariasikan dengan beban minimum 1A hingga maksimum 4A, yang kecepatan sebelum dan sesudah di beri beban tetap sama dengan setpoin, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengujian kendali motor dc penguat terpisah berbeban telah berhasil.

Abstract—The potential for solar energy sources is so large that it has not been optimally utilized, as a renewable energy source. The use of solar energy as a generator of electricity is very potential to be developed in West Sumatra Province. We know that the price of electricity obtained from this non-renewable energy is much more expensive in the short term, but it is much more valuable when calculated in the long term, especially from the aspect of environmental protection. The continuity of electrical services can always be fulfilled. It is necessary to combine PLN electricity sources and electricity sourced from solar energy as an alternative so that the reliability of the supply of electrical energy can be maintained. However, the large potential of renewable energy sources has not been able to be utilized optimally by the wider community, due to the limited competence of human resources who are able to utilize this energy. Through community service activities, Padang State University in collaboration with the Budi Utama Youth Assisted Child Orphanage in Lubuk Alung tries to make a contribution to improving Human Resource Competence through empowerment and community training with an integrated and sustainable process. One of the competency improvement activities carried out is training on the skills of installing electricity from PLN sources and solar energy installations. This training activity aims to provide understanding in the planning, design, operation, and maintenance of PLN sources and solar panel installations. The end result of this training is being able to provide education, increase skills, and competencies to participants to improve technical skills.

The heart is a human organ that pumps blood. The heart contracts, where one contraction cycle is usually called a heartbeat. Calculation of heart rate is often done manually by counting the pulse on the wrist for one minute. This method is considered inaccurate because it only relies on the human sense of touch. By making it easier to calculate the heart rate with the Electrocardiograph (ECG) device only but this tool is used in hospitals and cannot be moved. With a sensor that makes daily activities easier. For example, a pulse sensor that is easily available is a pulse sensor that can be used to detect the human heartbeat. With the heart rate device that can be moved using a pulse sensor. Where in the tool that in this final project detects the heart rate will be displayed on the Liquid Crisytal Display (LCD) where the detection results displayed are the results of the detection of human heartbeats accompanied by diseases that may be experienced from heart rate abnormalities.

Budi Utama Adolescent Child Care Social Institution located in the suburb of Alung, Padang Pariaman Regency, consists of several majors including the Department of Electricity, Electronics, Electricity Use, Automotive, and Welding. PSAABR accommodates children and adolescents from underprivileged and school dropouts, also accommodates assisted children who have tripped over legal issues since 2015 and come from all over West Sumatra. For children assisted by the law, skills training and coaching such as children and other adolescents are also added with more specialized mental coaching. The number of fostered children in the PSAABR reaches 150 children. With 70 foster children and 80 adolescents built. For foster children, fostered parents are given special skills that are grouped based on the existing department. Skill improvement training in the field of domestic electrical installation and electronic equipment service fields. Besides being very helpful to them, obtaining skills also helps in developing independence and entrepreneurship and will keep them away from uncertainty about the future. The results of community service activities will improve the skills and competencies of participants, namely (1) Increasing knowledge of work safety standards, (2) improving the domestic electricity field, and (3) Increasing skills in the field of electronic equipment.
