Excellent school is identical with quality school. Many people assume that to become a Excellent school must have large financial capital because the availability of facilities and capable resources require big costs. This statement is not entirely true, because besides facilities and human resources involved in educational activities, the most important part of education is the curriculum. This paper aims to find out how curriculum planning ideas can be applied in excellent school. The curriculum as a medium for achieving educational goals also serves as the main guideline for implementing learning activities. Therefore, the design of the curriculum in education must be positioned as a platform for schools to develop education. The results of the author's analysis describe that the curriculum planning framework in excellent schools is developed from local-regional to national level. Curriculum planning process must pay attention to the holistic approach and eliminate hierarchies in decision making. The socio-cultural approach is also essential by involving competent human resources including teachers as curriculum implementers.
The purpose of this research is : (1) to determine if there is influence of pedagogic and professional competence of SMK teachers to teachers’ commitment after certification (2) to determine how much influence of pedagogic and professional competence of SMK teachers to teachers’ commitment after certification. This research is a quantative descriptive research. The data collecting instrument used was questionnaire and data analysis used was multiple regression technique. The result showed : (1) there is a significant effect from pedagogic and professional competence of SMK teachers to teachers’ commitment in study process after certification (2) the percentage of commitment, pedagogic and professional competence of certified teachers are still low on average.
Rancang bangun alat pengukur kadar gula darah secara non-invasive menggunakan arduino uno sangat diperlukan bagi penderita diabetes meletus supaya pederita penyakit diabetes bisa selalu mengecek kadar gula darah selalu dalam kisaran normal. Pengukuran secara non-invase pada alat ini memanfaatkan fenomena optik berupa terjadinya penyerapan panjang gelombang gula darah yaitu antara 750-2500 nm . Metode pelaksanaan yang dilakukan supaya berhasil untuk menciptakan alat ukur gula darah secara non-invasive mulai dari perancangan hardware seperti rangkain power supply, rangkaian sensor infrared dan photodioda, pushbutton dan LCD. Setelah melakukan perancangan hardware mulai pengumpulan data, melakukan survey di klinik Universitas Negeri Padang. Alat ukur kadar gula darah non-invasive dibuat dengan cara membaca daya yang diterima oleh photodioda yang dipancarkan oleh sensor infrared. Hasil dari pembaacan sensor akan ditampilkan di LCD sebelum di tampilkan di LCD data di olah di dalam arduino uno. Arduino uno pada alat ini digunakan sebagai pusat pengontrolan sistem.
This study aims to determine how the character formation of love for the country through the flag ceremony of SD Negeri 10 Banda Aceh students. The approach in this research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive research type. The subjects in this study consisted of 1 school principal, 1 grade IV teacher and 3 grade IV students. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and questionnaires. Data analysis used a percentage formula and also used data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of research on the formation of the character of love for the country through the flag ceremony at SD Negeri 10 Banda Aceh, it is still in the category of very frequent or good according to the indicators of love for the country. Principals and teachers always strive well so that students can instill the character of loving the motherland in each student. The formation of the character of love for the country through the flag ceremony, namely by reminding, guiding and always explaining the meaning of the flag ceremony so that students have the character of loving the country and being orderly at the time of the flag ceremony, and also instilling discipline, so that students can understand the meaning of the flag ceremony well. With the flag ceremony, it is able to foster a character of love for the country which can shape and make students who have noble, moral, ethical, cultured and civilized characters based on Pancasila so that they become students who have an attitude of nationalism. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pembentukan karakter cinta tanah air melalui upacara bendera siswa SD Negeri 10 Banda Aceh. Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Adapun subjek dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 1 orang kepala sekolah, 1 orang guru kelas IV dan 3 orang siswa kelas IV. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan angket. Analisis data menggunakan rumus persentase dan juga menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data serta penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian pembentukan karakter cinta tanah air melalui upacara bendera di SD Negeri 10 Banda Aceh masih dalam kategori sangat sering dilakukan atau baik sesuai dengan indikator dari cinta tanah air. Kepala sekolah dan guru selalu mengupayakan dengan baik agar siswa dapat menanamkan karakter cinta tanah air di dalam diri masing-masing siswa. Pembentukan karakter cinta tanah air melalui upacara bendera yaitu dengan mengingatkan, membimbing dan selalu menjelaskan makna dari upacara bendera agar siswa memiliki karakter cinta tanah air serta tertib pada saat upacara bendera, dan juga menanamkan kedisplinan, sehingga siswa dapat memahami makna upacara bendera dengan baik. Dengan adanya upacara bendera mampu menumbuhkan karakter cinta tanah air yang dapat membentuk dan menjadikan diri siswa yang berakhlak mulia, bermoral, beretika, berbudaya, dan beradab berdasarkan pancasila sehingga menjadi siswa yang memiliki sikap nasionalisme. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan job sheet yang valid, praktis dan efektif pada mata pelajaran Instalasi Motor Listrik kelas XI TITL di SMK Negeri 5 Padang. Jenis Penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development,). Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan 4D model dengan empat tahapan pokok yaitu Define, Design, Develop dan Disseminate. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan cara penggunaan tiga Instrumen yaitu angket validasi, angket praktikalitas, dan lembar penilaian kerja (rubrik). Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh data rata-rata validitas job sheet dari tiga validator sebesar 0,87,dengan kategori valid. Hasil uji Praktikalitas oleh guru sebesar 97,72%, dengan kategori sangat praktis dan praktikalitas oleh siswa dengan rata-rata sebesar 81,13% kategori sangat praktis. Hasil efektitivitas job sheet diuji cobakan kepada siswa sebesar 90% pada ketuntasan dan job sheet dinyatakan sudah efektif digunakan. Dengan demikian job sheet Instalasi Motor Listrik dinyatakan valid, praktis dan efektif digunakan pada praktikum Instalasi Motor Listrik kelas XI TITL di SMK Negeri 5 Padang.
The lecture process is a communication process, where classroom activities are a separate world of communication, where lecturers and students interact with each other to achieve lecture goals. Lecturers, one of the main components in the lecture process, are able to create and create conditions and atmosphere that can stimulate students to learn actively and dynamically. The module is one of the tools that can be used by lecturers to deliver lecture material. Things that can affect lecture activities, namely the module as a tool in practical learning activities. The purpose of this research is to develop a module that is suitable for use so as to improve the quality of the practicum lecture process and increase students' understanding in mastering the lecture material. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D) with a 4D development model consisting of Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The valid assessment of the module is carried out by experts consisting of media experts and material experts, the data collection instrument uses an assessment questionnaire. The results of this study obtained a module that can guide students to learn independently and guided based on media experts categorized as valid, while the feasibility of the material based on material experts get a valid category. So that the developed module can be used by lecturers to deliver lecture material in practicum.
Pada umumnya, pembasmian hama padi dilakukan dengan cara penyemprotan pestisida. Hal ini akan mengakibatkan tanah dan tanaman padi tercemar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat alat pembasmi hama otomatis yang ramah lingkungan tanpa menggunakan pestisida. Penelitian ini juga membuat sistem pengaman alat dengan pemberitahuan suara buzzer dan pesan singkat di android. Metode pelaksanaan yang dilakukan agar berhasil membuat alat pembasmi hama tanaman padi otomatis menggunakan tegangan kejut listrik dimulai dari perancangan hardware kemudian pengumpulan data dan melakukan penelitian dengan menguji coba alat di sawah untuk melihat keefektifan alat. Pada perancangan ini, mikrokontroler Atmega 328 Arduino UNO digunakan sebagai pusat pengendali sistem, sensor LDR digunakan sebagai pengganti sakelar lampu DC dimalam hari untuk membuat hama mendekat sesuai dengan karakteristiknya yang tertarik dengan cahaya, kemudian tegangan kejut listrik akan aktif setiap 1 menit untuk menyengat hama yang menempel pada jaring kawat yang sudah dibuat, sensor getar sw-420 digunakan untuk mengaktifkan modul GSM dan buzzer ketika seseorang mencuri alat yang sudah terpasang di sawah. Pemrograman menggunakan software Arduino IDE. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian selama 3 hari, alat pembasmi hama padi ini dapat membasmi 39 hama kepik hitam, penggerek batang padi, dan walang sangit.
