This study aims to determine how the character formation of love for the country through the flag ceremony of SD Negeri 10 Banda Aceh students. The approach in this research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive research type. The subjects in this study consisted of 1 school principal, 1 grade IV teacher and 3 grade IV students. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and questionnaires. Data analysis used a percentage formula and also used data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of research on the formation of the character of love for the country through the flag ceremony at SD Negeri 10 Banda Aceh, it is still in the category of very frequent or good according to the indicators of love for the country. Principals and teachers always strive well so that students can instill the character of loving the motherland in each student. The formation of the character of love for the country through the flag ceremony, namely by reminding, guiding and always explaining the meaning of the flag ceremony so that students have the character of loving the country and being orderly at the time of the flag ceremony, and also instilling discipline, so that students can understand the meaning of the flag ceremony well. With the flag ceremony, it is able to foster a character of love for the country which can shape and make students who have noble, moral, ethical, cultured and civilized characters based on Pancasila so that they become students who have an attitude of nationalism. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pembentukan karakter cinta tanah air melalui upacara bendera siswa SD Negeri 10 Banda Aceh. Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Adapun subjek dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 1 orang kepala sekolah, 1 orang guru kelas IV dan 3 orang siswa kelas IV. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan angket. Analisis data menggunakan rumus persentase dan juga menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data serta penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian pembentukan karakter cinta tanah air melalui upacara bendera di SD Negeri 10 Banda Aceh masih dalam kategori sangat sering dilakukan atau baik sesuai dengan indikator dari cinta tanah air. Kepala sekolah dan guru selalu mengupayakan dengan baik agar siswa dapat menanamkan karakter cinta tanah air di dalam diri masing-masing siswa. Pembentukan karakter cinta tanah air melalui upacara bendera yaitu dengan mengingatkan, membimbing dan selalu menjelaskan makna dari upacara bendera agar siswa memiliki karakter cinta tanah air serta tertib pada saat upacara bendera, dan juga menanamkan kedisplinan, sehingga siswa dapat memahami makna upacara bendera dengan baik. Dengan adanya upacara bendera mampu menumbuhkan karakter cinta tanah air yang dapat membentuk dan menjadikan diri siswa yang berakhlak mulia, bermoral, beretika, berbudaya, dan beradab berdasarkan pancasila sehingga menjadi siswa yang memiliki sikap nasionalisme. This research aimed to develop context-based teaching materials and creativity to improve elementary school students' scientific literacy in the material of human and animal motion organs. The research method used in this research is Research and Development (Research and Development) which includes stage 1) Preliminary studies in the form of literature studies, 2) Study of teaching material development and 3) limited trials using a one-shot case study. The results of the analysis of the data from the questionnaire assessment of teaching materials by material experts showed that the aspect of content eligibility was 90%, the feasibility aspect was 78% presentation, the aspect of language eligibility was 83% and the aspect assessment was context and creativity 92%. The results of the questionnaire data analysis of teaching material assessment by media experts showed that the size of teaching materials was 69%, the cover was 86% and the content design was 85. Therefore, the teacher's response to context-based teaching materials using questionnaire sheets, and the response obtained that using teaching materials can facilitate teachers to learn science in a simple but meaningful way.
Penelitian ini adanya latar belakang pada Anak TK Al-Hikmah Siak Hulu yang memiliki kemampuan geometri masih rendah, terbukti dari 12 anak, 8 anak masih sering keliru, tidak yakin, atau bingung dalam menamai, membedakan, dan mengelompokkan tiga bangun ruang (persegi, segitiga, dan lingkaran). Hal ini disebabkan guru kurang menggunakan tarian dan kurang menggunakan metode bermain dalam pembelajaran. Ketertarikan anak-anak pada media teka-teki dan pelatihan yang diberikannya untuk kemampuan mereka mendeteksi bentuk geometris mendorong tujuan penelitian: untuk membantu anak-anak meningkatkan keterampilan geometris mereka melalui permainan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat apakah anak-anak di TK Al-Hikmah Siak Hulu dapat meningkatkan kemampuan geometrinya melalui penggunaan media puzzle. Temuan penelitian disajikan dengan cara yang bersifat deskriptif dan kualitatif. Menurut hasil penelitian, pengetahuan anak tentang geometri dapat ditingkatkan dengan menggunakan bentuk-bentuk sederhana dalam teka-teki. Sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa keterampilan geometri anak dapat ditingkatkan dengan melakukan kegiatan media puzzle.
This study aims to describe students' science problem solving abilities after the application of the Problem Based Learning model. The hypothesis formulated in this research is the implementation of Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model can improve the science problem solving ability of elementary school students. The approach used in this research is a quantitative approach. The type of research used in this study is a quasi-experimental research. The research design used in this study is one group pretest posttest design. The population of this study was all high-class students at SD Negeri 5 Banda Aceh for the 2020/2021 academic year, totaling 170 students. The sampling technique used was random sampling. Based on the results of the lottery, the samples used were students of class IV-B, totaling 16 boys and 10 girls. Data collection techniques in this study used tests in the form of pretest and posttest. Data analysis technique used was N-Gain. Based on the data analysis, the average pretest and posttest values were 35.54 and 73, respectively, with an N-Gain of 0.59 in the "medium" category, indicating that the implementation of Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning models can improve the science problem solving abilities of elementary school students.
Mathematics is an exact science, mathematics is studied from elementary school to college level. One of the objectives of learning mathematics in the 2013 Ministry of Education and Culture is that students are able to have mathematical communication skills. Because with mathematical communication skills, students can convey their ideas both orally and in writing, so that in the learning process a good understanding can be formed. The purpose of this study is to determine whether using the station rotation type blended learning model can improve students' mathematical communication skills. This study uses a quantitative approach, while the design used in this study is a one group pretest-posttest control design. The sample in this study used purposive sampling technique. Thus, the research sample in this study is class Vc, because class Vc has less ability in mathematics than classes Va and Vb, based on observations from the three homeroom teachers. The data in the study were taken by giving pretest and posttest questions about mathematical communication skills about the material of building space. Furthermore, to determine the increase in mathematical communication skills in this study was carried out using the paired t test formula. The results show that the t-count is 17.02, while the t-table with a significant level of 5% or 0.05 is 2.04, so Ha is accepted and it can be concluded that there is an increase in students' mathematical communication skills who are taught using the learning model.
