For fast response requirement, the fcedlorwrrd coinpensation scheme is employcd to enable tlic D-S'I'A'I'COM to mitigate voltage sag and at the same time correct the power factor, thus acting as a load compcnsator. Tltc compensation scheme of the D-STATCOM is derived using the symmetrical component method. l o this work, the 12-pulse D-STATCOM configuration with IGBT has been designed and the graphic based modeli of the D-STATCOM have been developed using the PSCADlEMTDC electromagnetic transient simulation program. Accordingly, simulations are first carded out to illustrate the use of D-STATCOM in mitigating voltage sag in a distribution system. Simulation results prove that the D-STATCOM is capable of mitigating vottage sag as wcll as improving power quality of a system.
Budi Utama Adolescent Child Care Social Institution located in the suburb of Alung, Padang Pariaman Regency, consists of several majors including the Department of Electricity, Electronics, Electricity Use, Automotive, and Welding. PSAABR accommodates children and adolescents from underprivileged and school dropouts, also accommodates assisted children who have tripped over legal issues since 2015 and come from all over West Sumatra. For children assisted by the law, skills training and coaching such as children and other adolescents are also added with more specialized mental coaching. The number of fostered children in the PSAABR reaches 150 children. With 70 foster children and 80 adolescents built. For foster children, fostered parents are given special skills that are grouped based on the existing department. Skill improvement training in the field of domestic electrical installation and electronic equipment service fields. Besides being very helpful to them, obtaining skills also helps in developing independence and entrepreneurship and will keep them away from uncertainty about the future. The results of community service activities will improve the skills and competencies of participants, namely (1) Increasing knowledge of work safety standards, (2) improving the domestic electricity field, and (3) Increasing skills in the field of electronic equipment.
In this paper, analysis impulse voltage distribution in transformer winding, and winding of the voltage impulse response with a standard full wave and clipped wave especially at the ends of the entanglement presented. Compared with experimental data EMTPDC simulation, the result of t < 1.0 μs voltage difference occurs. For t > 2.0 μs was obtained near the same voltage large, between experimental and simulation results. So we can say that circuit simulation can mimic the real situation EMTDC/PSCAD. Thus, this simulation can be used as EMTPDC experimental substitution want to know the response to the current surge of turns.
Kompetensi profesional guru merupakan salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi pelaksanaan proses pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu, harus selalu ditingkatkan agar dapat menciptakan proses pembelajaran yang baik bagi peserta didik. Penelitian ini membahas tentang peningkatan kompetensi profesional guru Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) bidang Ketenagalistrikan melalui pelaksanaan program pelatihan keterampilan Programable Logic Control (PLC), program pelatihan dirancang dalam dua metode yaitu metode teori dan praktik. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 20 orang guru bidang ketenagalistrikan SMK Negeri 1 Pariaman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan kompetensi guru dalam bidang otomasi industri khusunya PLC setelah mengikuti kegiatan program pelatihan keterampilan PLC. Peningkatan ini diindikasikan dengan hasil Pascates peserta yang rata-rata mengalami peningkatan pada tingkatan yang tinggi. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa program pelatihan keterampilan PLC bagi guru SMK 1 Pariaman dapat meningkatkan kompetensi profesional guru dalam bidang otomasi industri sesuai dengan tuntutan perkembangan revolusi industri 4.0.
Penelitian dilatarbelakangi oleh penggunaan modul yang belum praktis dan pembelajaran yang belum sepenuhnya terpusat kepada peserta didik pada Kelas XII TITL di SMKS Islam Hang Tuah Batam untuk mata pelajaran Instalasi Tenaga Listrik.Penelitian ini adalah penelitian R&Ddengan model pengembangan 4D. Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji validitas, praktikalitas, dan efektivitas pada KD 3.11.Hasil validasi modul adalah 87,2% dengan kategori sangat valid yang didapat dari rata-rata penilaian 3 validator. Penilaian kepraktisan modul oleh guru adalah 86,67% dengan kategori sangat praktis dan oleh peserta didik adalah 84,72% dengan kategori sangat praktis. Hasil belajar peserta didik setelah menggunakan modul adalah 21 peserta didik yang tuntas dari 24 peserta didik, dengan ketuntasan klasikal mencapai 87,5% sehingga modul dikatakan efektif. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa modul valid, praktis, dan efektif digunakan untuk pembelajaran Instalasi Tenaga Listrik Kelas XII TITL di SMKS Islam Hang Tuah Batam.
Industrial automation technology is developing very fast, especially in the process of taking and putting the work object. Prototype Pick and Place with a pneumatic system based on Omron PLC CP1E type was created with the aim to move the cube-shaped object with a size 4,5x4,5x4,5 cm and a weight of 0.2 kg with a speed of 12 objects of work every minute. This tool works by using air as the driving fluid, when the sensor detects an object phototelectric work, then the double-acting cylinder pneumatic actuator will push the work object to object retrieval area. Pneumatic gripper will grip the work object, condition or not grasped the object detected by fiberoptic sensor, if an object has been gripped, the object will be removed and taken to a packaging object has been waiting for. The object then lowered into the packaging, then the object along with the packaging will be drawn with other pneumatic cylinder to the finishing area.After testing and analysis of the prototype is made in the form of the results it can take 25 seconds to move the object 5 pieces of work along with the packaging to the finishing area, so on average each 1 objects and packaging can be moved within 5 seconds. When the minimum air pressure of 0.15 MPa maximum lifting power of this tool is 0.632 kg, while when the maximum air pressure of 0.7 MPa maximum lifting capacity is 2,94 kg.
Artikel ini didasari dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat di Nagari Pauh Duo Nan Batigo Kecamatan Pauh Duo, Kabupaten Solok Selatan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan dalam bentuk penyuluhan dan pelatihan pemasangan instalasi listrik rumah tangga. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah melakukan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dengan cara penyuluhan dan pelatihan mengenai: bahaya kejut listrik dan cara menghindarinya, serta instalasi dan penghematan listrik. Materi yang diberikan dalam pelatihan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini antara lain: sambungan kabel, pemasangan kabel, instalasi box sekering, saklar tunggal dan saklar seri, serta merangkai lampu, dan instalasi saklar hotel dan stop kontak. Kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini memberikan hasil yaitu meningkatnya pengetahuan peserta akan manfaat listrik, meningkatnya pengetahuan peserta akan bahaya listrik, dan meningkatnya pengetahuan peserta akan instalasi listrik rumah tangga yang benar.
