INTRODUÇÃO: A aprendizagem e o desenvolvimento profissional em Educação Física ocorrem em diferentes contextos. Entre eles, as comunidades de prática são consideradas um contexto promissor, pois possibilitam a participação ativa, envolvendo os membros em um ambiente colaborativo onde o aprendizado e o desenvolvimento ocorrem com e através das relações pessoais. OBJETIVO: Desse modo, o objetivo deste estudo foi realizar uma metassíntese a respeito dos fatores que influenciam o desenvolvimento e manutenção das comunidades de prática de professores e futuros professores de Educação Física.MÉTODOS: A metassíntese é uma metodologia de revisão sistemática que sintetiza os resultados de estudos qualitativos em categorias. Os resultados dos estudos originais foram analisados e sintetizados a partir da análise de conteúdo. As categorias foram determinadas a priori: engajamento mútuo, empreendimento em conjunto e repertório compartilhado.RESULTADOS: Os resultados dos 16 estudos selecionados nos indicam que as comunidades de prática na formação e no desenvolvimento profissional tem origem a partir das necessidades dos interessados. A negociação quanto ao tema ou conteúdo dos encontros ocorreram tanto no início quanto ao longo dos encontros. A comunidades de prática apresentaram diferentes objetivos: aprender a ensinar Educação Física, aprender a implementar modelos de ensino, elaborar um novo currículo, aprender a aplicar uma determinada abordagem de ensino e aperfeiçoar práticas de ensino. Já a manutenção ocorreu a partir das trocas de experiências profissionais e das relações pessoais informais em diferentes contextos: em redes sociais, no estágio obrigatório do curso de graduação, na disciplina do curso de graduação e encontro de grupos de professores. Vale destacar o papel do facilitador para que o repertório compartilhado fosse criado. CONCLUSÃO: Em suma, as comunidades de prática se apresentam como um excelente contexto de aprendizagem e desenvolvimento profissional, já que as comunidades de prática investigadas parecem ter satisfeito as necessidades dos participantes.ABSTRACT. Community of practice in physical education teacher education and professional development: a metasynthesis.BACKGROUND: Learning and professional development in Physical Education occur in different contexts. Among them, communities of practice are considered to be a promising context as they enable active participation. Engaging members in a collaborative environment where learning and development take place with and through personal relationships.OBJECTIVE: Thus, the aim of this study was to carry out a meta-synthesis about the factors that influence the development and maintenance of communities of practice for teachers and future Physical Education teachers.METHODS: Metasynthesis is a systematic review methodology that synthesizes the results of qualitative studies in categories. The results of the original studies were analyzed and synthesized from the content analysis. The categories were determined a priori: mutual engagement, joint enterprise and shared repertoire.RESULTS: The results of the 16 selected studies indicate that the communities of practice in teacher education and professional development originate from the needs of those interested. Negotiations regarding the theme or content of the meetings took place both at the beginning and throughout the meetings. The communities of practice had different objectives: learn to teach Physical Education, learn to implement teaching models, develop a new curriculum, learn to apply a particular teaching approach and improve teaching practices. Maintenance, on the other hand, occurred based on the exchange of professional experiences and informal personal relationships in different contexts: in social networks, in the mandatory stage of the undergraduate course, in the subject of the undergraduate course and meeting of groups of teachers. It is worth highlighting the role of the facilitator so that the shared repertoire was created.CONCLUSION: In short, communities of practice present themselves as an excellent context for learning and professional development, since the communities of practice investigated seem to have satisfied the needs of the participants.

A recent call for coach education highlights that the programs could become more learner-centered. Thus, the aim of this study is to provide an overview of the learner-centered teaching operationalization in a university-based coach education program. Using an action research approach, a Sports Pedagogy course was organized through five learner-centered teaching principles over one semester. Participants were a facilitator, a critical friend, and six students. Reflective journals, reflective conversations, and focus groups were used as data sources. Results showed that through different learning strategies based on collaboration and reflection, students were able to expand their understanding of sports coaching, and also to perceive themselves in the coach's role. Action research was a valuable approach to reflect as teachers, highlighting not only the teaching process but the need to understand and “change” (when possible) the learning environment. It is suggested that, to introduce the learner-centered teaching approach, a deep understanding of the institution's culture of learning is required to address meaningful material and support learners' engagement.

O objetivo foi analisar as crenças de universitários do último ano de curso de graduação em Educação Física - Bacharelado, sobre os conteúdos e estratégias de ensino dos esportes. Realizou-se pesquisa qualitativa, com estudo de casos múltiplos de 5 universitários. A coleta dos dados ocorreu através de roteiros de entrevista semiestruturada e procedimento de estimulação de memória. Os dados foram analisados através de análise de conteúdo, com categorias estabelecidas a priori. Os resultados indicaram que algumas crenças permaneceram estáveis ao fim do curso:  A aula deve ser motivadora; a fragmentação dos conteúdos facilita a aprendizagem; as tarefas sintéticas são motivadoras; os conteúdos técnicos são essenciais para o esporte. Surgiram novos entendimentos sobre a utilização das tarefas sintéticas e o uso das formas jogadas. Conclui-se que as experiências diretas de prática de ensino e o engajamento dos sujeitos em contexto formal foram fontes importantes de aprendizagens sobre como ensinar.

A autoeficácia docente de professores pode ser definida como as crenças em suas próprias capacidades para mediar o processo de ensino e aprendizagem, mesmo nas situações de aulas mais difíceis, de modo a facilitar o aprendizado dos alunos. O objetivo do estudo quantitativo de caráter descritivo foi analisar a percepção de autoeficácia docente de universitários do curso de Licenciatura em Educação Física. Para tanto, foi utilizado uma escala de autoeficácia docente, aplicados a um grupo de 279 universitários de Licenciatura em Educação Física, pertencentes a duas universidades públicas do estado de Santa Catarina. Para verificar o nível de autoeficácia docente em relação às experiências dos universitários, comparando-se as universidades investigadas, utilizou-se o teste não paramétrico Kruskal-Wallis para mais de dois grupos, uma vez que não se encontrou normalidade na distribuição dos resíduos das variáveis analisadas. Todas as análises foram realizadas com auxílio do programa estatístico SPSS Statistics versão 23.0, considerando-se o nível de significância de 5%. Os resultados mostraram que os universitários começam na formação inicial com nível de autoeficácia docente elevado, além disso, que as experiências obtidas no ambiente de estágio obrigatório contribuíram para uma maior percepção na dimensão intencionalidade docente e, por fim, que as experiências prévias no esporte, colaboraram para elevar à percepção de autoeficácia docente em ambas as universidades investigadas. Conclui-se que as experiências no contexto dos esportes adquiridas antes da entrada na formação inicial e as experiências diretas de prática nos estágios, contribuem para uma percepção de autoeficácia docente, com destaque para os universitários em início da formação inicial.

RESUMO O objetivo do estudo foi analisar as fontes de crenças sobre as estratégias de ensino dos esportes coletivos de universitários do curso de Licenciatura em Educação Física de uma universidade pública do sul do Brasil. Adotaram-se procedimentos de estudo qualitativo em que participaram 4 universitários. Os dados foram obtidos por meio de observação sistemática, seguido de entrevistas com estimulação de memória e analisados através da Análise de Conteúdo. Os resultados indicaram que as fontes de crenças estavam relacionadas as experiências de prática motora, os feedbacks e as observações de professores. Conclui-se que as crenças dos universitários se desenvolveram por experiências ao longo da vida, envolvendo diversos contextos e situações de aprendizagem.

The validation of this questionnaire is an important tool for analyzing the knowledge and skills of coaches, as well as a better understanding of their practice context. Therefore, the aim of the present study was to establish the content validity of the Coaches’ Knowledge and Competence Questionnaire (CKCQ). Five specialists with doctorate degree for at least 10 years, academic experience and periodicity of publications with the theme in national and international journals participated in the validation process. Specialists evaluated 38 items of the questionnaire and assigned a score on a 1-5 point likert scale for each item in the language clarity, practical pertinence and theoretical relevance criteria. The content validity coefficient (CVC) was used to determine the CVCI of items and the CVCt of the total instrument of each criterion, adopting cutoff point of 0.81. The approximate results found for language clarity (0.92), practical pertinence (0.99) and theoretical relevance (0.98) presented values considered almost perfect and appropriate for validation. The content validation of the CKCQ is an important alternative for the evaluation of the knowledge and competences of sports coaches.

The objective of this study was to analyze the contribution of a Physical Education program on constructing beliefs in teacher self-efficacy, taking into account the teaching dimensions of instruction, organization, and social environment. A qualitative research was conducted through a semistructured interview with 11 college students in their last year of a Physical Education Degree at a public University in Santa Catarina, Brazil. The data were obtained through semi-structured interviews. The results showed that the mandatory internship was the main learning context, and the main sources of learning were direct teaching experiences and feedbacks during the internship, followed by professor observations within the required classes for the degree. Therefore, we concluded that college students attributed teaching self-efficacy to the teaching and learning experiences in the mandatory internship and the observations made during regular classes.
