This community service activity aims to train lecturers of Universitas PGRI Palembang in writing scientific article, making presentation, and mathematics equations using LaTeX application, as well as understanding their responses toward the activity. This activity conducted employing assisting model with sharing tools, materials, and demonstration method, whereas 23 participants from different faculties joint the training. The response shows very positive satisfaction for all indicators with the range of 86% - 94%. The highest response is on the importance of the program, while time efficiency item scored 86%. All participants wish for sustainable training with longer time period.

The purpose of this study was to examine the steps of the Index Card Match learning model with the problem posing approach assisted by MATLAB software and its effect on the problem solving ability of high school students. This research is a quasi-experimental research with non-equivalent control class design. The population in this study were all students of class XI Senior High School 2 Kuningan, with purposive sampling technique taken two classes as a sample. A distinctive feature of this combined model is that students make their own questions and answers on separate cards, so that after the cards are collected and randomized, students are asked to find suitable questions and answers. While the results of the data analysis showed the average initial problem solving ability of students in the experimental class is equal to the average initial ability of students in the control class with a significance value of 0.212. But after the treatment, there were differences in the average problem solving ability in the experimental class and control class that is equal to 3.38 and p-value of -2.563 with asymp. sig 0.010, rejection for H0 which means the mathematical problem solving ability in the experimental class is better than control class.

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan subyek penelitian mahasiswa semester I pendidikan matematika STKIP Muhammadiyah Kuningan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Pengantar Dasar Matematika tahun akademik 2017/2018. Penelitian dilaksanakan melalui 2 siklus. Pada pre test rata-rata hasil belajar yang dicapai adalah 43, pada siklus I rata-rata hasil belajar menjadi 68,4 meningkat 25,4 atau sebesar 59%, sedangkan pada siklus II rata-rata hasil belajar menjadi 90 meningkat 21,6 dari siklus I atau sebesar 31,58%. Rata-rata aktivitas klasikal pada siklus I adalah72,36 sedangkan pada siklus II meningkat 12,74 menjadi 85,1, terjadi peningkatan 17,61%. Rata-rata hasil belajar portofolio pada siklus I adalah 77,80 sedangkan pada siklus II meningkat 8,43 menjadi 86,24, terjadi peningkatan 10,84%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pembelajaran dengan penilaian berbasis portofolio dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar mahasiswa.

Students' mathematical literacy abilities are important to master, especially to formulate mathematical concepts that can be used in everyday life. Mathematical literacy has become an important issue lately to be developed in the study of mathematics learning. However, mathematical literacy has not become the main goal in the implementation of the learning carried out. The purpose of this study was to examine the comparison of students 'mathematical literacy skills with Adobe Flash Professional CS6-based RME learning with conventional learning and to examine the comparison of improvement in students' mathematical literacy skills with Adobe Flash Professional CS6-based RME learning with conventional learning. The research method used in this study was quasi-experimental with the design of a non-equivalent control group design. The results of the two research hypotheses were accepted. It is possible that the increase in students' mathematical literacy skills is triggered by the Adobe Flash Professional CS6-based RME learning which in the implementation of learning always focuses on self regulated learning.

Most prior studies on mathematical literacy (ML), self-regulated learning (SRL), and RME-based blended learning were carried out qualitatively. Therefore, it was necessary to test them with statistical inference. This study aimed to analyze the interaction between RME-based blended learning, conventional learning, and SRL in improving students' ML. The method used was quasi-experimental with a 2x2 factorial design. The population was students in grade 7 with a sample of 38 students (21 males and 17 females). RME-based blended learning was conducted in the experiment class, while conventional learning was in the control class. Self-regulated learning and mathematical literacy data were obtained from the questionnaire and test, respectively. Data were analyzed using the Adjusted Rank Transform Test with Two-Way ANOVA and Mann-Whitney U test. The result showed an interaction between RME-based blended learning, conventional learning, and SRL towards students' ML improvement. Students' ML improvement who received RME-based blended learning was higher than those who received conventional learning regarding the high level of SRL and vice versa at the low level. Furthermore, students' ML improvement with high SRL was slightly higher than those with low SRL after receiving RME-based blended learning and vice versa after getting conventional learning.

Merdeka belajar merupakan kebijakan baru yang dikeluarkan oleh Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Republik Indonesia. Implementasi merdeka belajar berupa upaya yang diberikan kepada tiap unit pendidikan bebas dapat melakukan inovasi yang juga tentunya disesuaikan dengan daerah masing-masing unit pendidikan sebagai keterbukaan proses pembelajaran dari rumah yang nantinya dapat memberikan pengalaman belajar tanpa harus dituntut oleh standar ketuntasan dan standar kelulusan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui implementasi merdeka belajar dalam meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran matematika selama pandemi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian studi literatur dengan pendekatan kualitatif yang akan diuraikan secara deskriptif. Data yang digunakan merupakan kajian dari artikel ilmiah, makalah, prosiding, serta buku yang sesuai dengan fokus penelitian.  Hasil dan pembahasan yang didapat yaitu merdeka belajar dapat: (1) membuat siswa dan guru menjadi lebih kreatif, inovatif, dan tentunya lebih maju dalam penggunaan teknologi; (2) adanya kebebasan siswa dalam memperoleh informasi dalam belajar sehingga meningkatkan kemampuan literasi, numerasi dan berpikir logis serta meningkatkan kognitif siswa. Akibatnya pembelajaran matematika menjadi lebih maju dikarenakan pengimplementasian merdeka belajar.

The result of data analysis shows the average of students' initial problem-solving ability in the experimental group is equal to the average of students' initial ability in the control group with a significance value are 0.212. After the treatment, there are differences in problem-solving ability in the experimental class and control class that are 3.38 and p-value of -2.563 with asymp. sig 0.010, the rejection for H0 which means the ability to solve mathematical problems in the experimental class is better than the class control. But there aren’t differences in problem-solving abilities in the experimental class and control class with p-value 0.515 and sig 0.476, the acception for H0 which means there aren’t differences the improvement of mathematical problem-solving ability in the experimental class and the control class.

The purpose of this study was to develop valid, practical, and effective learning using the GeoGebra-assisted Contextual Teaching & Learning (CTL) learning model using the Flipped Learning model to improve the mathematical representation abilities of junior high school students. This research is research and development (R&D). This research has five stages: analyzing the developed product, developing the initial product, expert validation and revision, small-scale field trials and product revisions, and testing large-scale field and final products. Based on the results of several studies, including lesson plans and valid textbooks. From the limited test, the ten questions of the representation ability test were also valid and reliable. The lesson plans and textbooks developed are also practical in terms of teachers and students. Moreover, the average value of the mathematical representation in the experimental class is classified as effective in increasing students' mathematical representation ability. That way, the mathematics learning device characterized by GeoGebra assisted CTL using the Flipped Learning model can be said to be valid, practical, and effective.
