Studi ini menjelaskan hubungan antara modal sosial dan kinerja usaha dengan orientasi kewirausahaan sebagai variabel antara. Penelitian dilakukan di 4 (empat) komunitas Usaha Mikro, Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) di kota Malang dengan populasi sebanyak 324 pelaku usaha. Penarikan sampel menggunakan teknik Proportional Cluster Random Sampling, melibatkan 90 responden yang tergabung dalam komunitas UMKM dan menggunakan kuesioner sebagai alat pengumpulan data. Hasil penelitian dapat diketahui bahwa modal sosial secara signifikan dapat memepengaruhi orientasi kewirausahaan maupun kinerja usaha. Orientasi Kewirausahaan juga memiliki hubungan yang signifikan terhadap Kinerja Usaha. Modal Sosial memiliki pengaruh lebih besar terhadap Kinerja Usaha melalui Orientasi Kewirausahaan sebagai variabel antara.
The focus of this research is directed at identifying the model of integrative urban tourismbased social capital. The governance model used the Pentahelix approach to develop and integrate various actors in the tourism development process. It is strengthened using a social capital and developing tourist destinations approaches. The social capital approach is used to understand the motivation of community behavior in the development and/or development of urban tourism. The concept of developing tourist destinations is used to see whether the development of urban tourism has met sustainability tourism criteria. The research was conducted in Kampung Warna Warni (Colorful Village) Jodipan, Malang City. The research methodology used was qualitative approach with descriptive analysis techniques. Data collection was done through in-depth interviews with tourism, private, government and community actors. The results of this study indicate that social capital is a major driver in the development of urban tourism. The collaborative governance approach is proven to be able to develop tourism destinations through strengthening social capital in a sustainable manner.
The Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise (MSMEs) sector has been recognized as an essential contributor to the economic development of Indonesia. However, the sustainability of MSMEs in Indonesia is still relatively low compared to the rest of ASEAN countries with similar levels of economic growth. This study aims to extend previous studies on the relationship between MSMEs characteristics and their sustainability by specifically including financial literation as a mediation role. This study used proportional random sampling as a sampling technique. A total of 191 MSMEs owner-managers questionnaire data were processed by using Partial Least Square analysis. This study confirmed the positive influence of MSMEs characteristics on financial literacy and financial literacy on the sustainability of MSMEs. Moreover, financial literation proves to be a significant mediator of MSMEs sustainability. This study suggests that MSMEs owner-managers need to be financially literate as it can enable them to make a good financial decision that can ensure their business sustainability.
<p class="abstract-header"><em>As Indonesia's original cultural heritage, Hand-Written Batik is one of the featured products for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Central Java. However, the printed batik industry's presence impacted the decline in the market share of hand-written batik. The entrepreneurial climate and entrepreneurial competence are factors that are believed to increase the competitiveness of hand-written batik.</em><em> </em><em>This study aims to determine and explain the effect of entrepreneurial climate on business performance with entrepreneurial competence as an intervening variable. This research is explanatory research with a quantitative approach and involves as many as 138 MSMES owners at the center of Hand-Written Batik in Bayat District, Klaten Regency as respondents. Withdrawal of samples using the Slovin formula with a confidence level of 95 percent. The sampling technique uses proportional random sampling, and data collection is done by distributing questionnaires to respondents. Data analysis using descriptive analysis and path analysis were processed using SPSS software. The results show that the entrepreneurial climate has a positive and significant influence on entrepreneurial competence, the entrepreneurial climate has a positive and significant effect on business performance, entrepreneurial competence has a positive and significant effect on business performance, and entrepreneurial competence is proven to be able to mediate the relationship between entrepreneurial climate and business performance. This means that the better the entrepreneurial climate in an MSMEs industrial center will impact MSMEs' performance if, at the same time, MSMEs owners have good entrepreneurial competence.</em></p><p class="abstrak"><em>Keywords: business performance, entrepreneurial climate, entrepreneurial competence, MSMEs</em></p>
