Abstract. This study aims to find whether there is a relationship between self-confidence and body image with the trend of anorexia nervosa in adolescent princess.  Subjects of the study were  120 student  of SMK Negeri 2 Kediri. Three scales were used to collect data and then this data were analysed by multiple regression with stepwise method. The results showed self-confidence and body image together give  to the tendency of anorexia nervosa. Based on the results the hypothesis proposed in this study can be accepted, that there is a negative relationship between self-confidence and body image with the trend of anorexia nervosa. The effective contribution of each individual predictor,  self-confidence to have a role that is 9,1% while body image that is 26,1%.Keywords : Self-confidence, body image, anorexia nervosa

Phenomenon Students with low academic self-efficacy tend to avoid difficult tasks, because the task is considered a threat to him. Students have low aspirations and commitment in achieving the learning goals they set. When faced with difficult tasks, student is busy thinking about the deficiencies that exist in him, the disturbances he faces, and all the results that can be detrimental. When faced with difficult tasks, students with low self-efficacy will reduce their efforts and tend to give up quickly and slow to fix or regain their self-efficacy when experiencing failure. So we need a technique to reduce these rights, one of which is the application of modeling techniques based on cinema of educational. This study aims to determine the effectiveness modeling techniques based on cinema of educational to improve students' academic self-efficacy. This research method uses an experimental research approach with the type of one group pretest-posttest design. The conclusion of the study showed that the Paired Samples Test score was 0.026 <0.05. These results can be concluded that modeling techniques based on cinema of educational are effective for increasing the academic self-efficacy of junior high school students.

<p style="text-align: justify;">Academic optimism has an essential role in the adjustment of students in school. This study aimed to examine a model of academic optimism formed from democratic parenting, school climate, internal locus of control, and students’ self-concept. This a cross-sectional non-experimental design research design involved 335 Junior High School students in Kediri. The data collection tool was a scale while the data analysis technique was Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis. The results showed that the theoretical model for developing academic optimism in Junior High School students was in line with the research data and obtained empirical support (X2 = 246.056 < 255.6018; p = 0.110 > 0.05), so this model is feasible and can be used in samples that have been studied. In general, this study adds knowledge about positive psychology studies and supports democratic parenting, school climate, self-concept, and internal locus of control as ultimate factors for creating students’ academic optimism.</p>

Artikel ini membahas Person centered therapy dibidang konseling, untuk membantu dalam proses hubungan, empathy, congruence, unconditional positive regard, sebagai konsep penting pendekatan tersebut dan sebagai saran terhadap manajemen kelas. Merupakan hal yang penting jika proses belajar-mengajar berpusat pada siswa, sehingga pertimbangan siswa akan berpusat pada segala hal yang berhubungan dengan pendidikan. Ketika siswa menjadi bagian dari suatu keputusan maka siswa akan merasa ikut berperan dan bertanggung jawab. Dalam person centered therapy mungkin tidak menawarkan solusi yang siap jadi atau mengarahkan klien untuk mengikuti strategi mengatasi masalah tertentu. Apa yang terapis lakukan adalah menggunakan kesempatan dalam hubungan kepercayaan melalui penghargaan terhadap klien sehingga masalah yang dihadapi dapat diselesaikan. Secara keseluruhan, klien diasumsikan dapat memiliki kemampuan untuk membuat solusi atas permasalahannya, dan terapis hanya bertindak sebagai teman dalam proses penyembuhan.

<span lang="EN-US">This study examined the relationship between democratic parenting, school climate, and internal locus of control with academic optimism. This was a correlational study involving 335 students of state junior high schools who were selected using cluster random sampling technique. The data were collected by using scales of democratic parenting, school climate, internal locus of control, and academic optimism. Multiple regression technique was used to analyze the data on statistical product and service solutions (SPSS) 20. The results showed a positive and significant relationship between democratic parenting and academic optimism, school climate and academic optimism, internal locus of control and academic optimism. Besides, the result also showed that democratic parenting, school climate, internal locus of control simultaneously affected academic optimism among students. Furthermore, counseling and guidance teachers, homeroom teachers, and parents to work together to grow and improve students' academic optimism, so the students can actualize their character optimally and develop effectively.</span>
