This study investigates the impact of the relationship between teacher performance and classroom environment on student attitudes toward Indonesian language learning. This study was carried out using an ex post facto quantitative approach at a primary school in Semarang Regency, Indonesia. The sample of this research consisted of 172 students enrolled by random sampling technique. Data were collected using questionnaires. The data analysis techniques used were descriptive analysis and regression analysis. The Results indicate that teacher performance had a significant influence on student attitudes toward Indonesian language learning, and the classroom environment had a significant influence on student attitudes toward the Indonesian language. Teacher performance and classroom environment may be substantial factors in student attitudes toward Indonesian language learning.
A nation with high cultural literacy describes the competence of its citizens who can think critically, creatively and communicatively in the face of global competition. The main problem of this research is the low level of cultural literacy and citizenship skills of elementary school students. One of the causes of these problems is the low quality of the learning media used in learning in elementary schools. This study aims to describe the effectiveness of using hand muppet learning media based on local wisdom and the impact of using hand muppet learning media on increasing cultural literacy skills and citizenship of elementary school students. The research model used is a combination method of an exploratory type. The sample of this research is elementary school students in six Kediri elementary schools who have different characteristics. Based on the research results, it was found that the hand muppet was learning media based on local wisdom that was developed and contributed to increasing the ability of cultural literacy and citizenship. This ability improvement occurred throughout the sample schools. Thus, the hand muppet learning media based on local wisdom functions for students with high and low competence.
Abstrak Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan mengenai implementasi penanaman sikap tanggung jawab melalui kegiatan literasi penguatan pendidikan karakter siswa kelas V SD Negeri 1 Cawas yang terletak di Kabupaten Klaten. Pupulasi penelitian ini berjumlah 28 siswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Uji keabsahan data menggunakan uji credibility dan uji confirmability. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan: (1) Tahapan dalam membentuk penanaaman sikap tanggung jawab siswa V SD Negeri 1 Cawas diantaranya yaitu; pemberian contoh/ teladan, pembiasaan, dan penguatan; (2) Terdapat beberapa hambatan dalam penelitian diantaranya hambatan dari sekolah, guru dan siswa; (3) Respons penerimaan yang terjadi adalah terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan dan wawasan pada diri siswa. Selain itu, siswa juga memunculkan karakter baik, seperti sikap disipilin, sikap tanggung jawab, dan karakter baik lainnya. Namun, masih terdapat respons penolakan seperti respons siswa yang belum serius atau malas-malasan dalam melakukan kegiatan literasi akan tetapi, masih dominan dengan respons penerimaan karena kegiatan literasi menjadi kegiatan yang wajib maka, kegiatan ini sudah menjadi rutinitas yang disambut dengan antusias siswa yang bersemangat dalam mengikuti kegiatan literasi penguatan pendidikan karakter This research is descriptive qualitative. This study aims to describe the research conducted on inculcating an attitude of responsibility through literacy activities to strengthen character education for class V SD Negeri 1 Cawas located in Klaten Regency. The population of this study found 28 students. Data were collected by observation, interviews, and documentation. Test the validity of the data using the credibility test and confirmability test. The data analysis technique uses the Miles and Huberman model. The results of the research conducted: (1) The stages in forming the responsible attitude of V SD Negeri 1 Cawas students include; presenting examples/ role models, habituation, and reinforcement; (2) There are several obstacles in the research including barriers from schools, teachers and students; (3) The acceptance response that occurs is an increase in students' knowledge and insight. In addition, students also raise good characters, such as dicipline and responsibility. However, there are still responses such as student responses that are not yet serious or lazy in carrying out literacy activities, however, they are still dominant with acceptance responses because literacy activities are mandatory activities, so this activity has become a routine that is enthusiastically welcomed by students who are passionate about leaarning to participate in literacy activities to strengthen character education.
A good learning process is learning that utilizes innovative learning media to help students understand the material and develop critical thinking skills. Critical thinking is an ability that can be learned and trained in order to be able to solve problems effectively. Developing critical thinking skills through technology-based learning media, namely Augmented Reality. Augmented Reality is an application that combines the real world with the virtual world in two-dimensional and three-dimensional forms that are projected in a natural environment at the same time. Augmented Reality Book (ARB) is one of the developments of technology-based learning media that can be applied through Android. Based on these problems, the purpose of this study was to determine the level of effectiveness of ARBs. The data collection method used a questionnaire with a purposive sampling technique. The results obtained include student and teacher responses regarding ARB. ARB is more effective for developing students' critical thinking skills with t table19.426 with a significance level of 0.5%. The results of the t-test show that t_0 is 19.426, and the results of the N-gain analysis show a value of 0.55813. It can be concluded that there is an increase in the average score of students significantly in the moderate category.
The implementation of Picture Crossword Puzzle (MCP-G) media model is an alternative to making it easier for teachers to deliver durring pandemic COVID-19. MCP-B can create a more pleasant learning atmosphere and foster active student participation. This study aims to produce learning media products that can support thematic motivation and learning outcomes for fourth-grade students of MI. Product development refers to ADDIE design. The products developed are lesson plans, worksheets, learning media and motivational instruments and learning outcomes tests. The product development stages start from the initial-late analysis, student analysis, material analysis, task analysis, learning objectives analysis, method selection, format selection, expert validity, limited trials, field trials and revisions. The research data was sourced from expert validation sheets, student motivation observation sheets, teacher ability observation sheets in managing learning from the practical side and implementation of MCP-G learning media. The results show that the MCP-B model is feasible and effective to use in supporting motivation and thematic learning outcomes with the theme: "the beauty of diversity". The selection of good and appropriate learning media can make it easier for students to absorb the material presented by the teacher. This condition indicates that the learning media is very influential on learning outcomes according to educational goals. In line with that, this research can be used as an insight for teachers in developing fun and effective learning media, especially in the era of the COVID-19 Pandemic.
