This study was aimed to determine the effect size of the PjBL learning model with the STEM approach in improving students’ creative problem-solving ability and metacognitive skills in physics learning. The results of the data analysis showed that there was an influence of the application of the PjBL learning model with the STEM approach toward students’ creative problem-solving ability and metacognitive skills. The creative problem-solving ability score obtained by the experimental class was 0.39 while the control class obtained a score of 0.30. in terms of metacognitive skills, the experimental class obtained a value of 0.30 while the control class obtained a value of 0.20. The PjBL learning model with the STEM approach was more effective in increasing the students’ creative problem-solving ability and metacognitive skills indicated by obtained effect size value of 0.72 and the effect size of the metacognitive skill of 0.64 in the medium category. Based on the results of the MANOVA test, the creative problem-solving ability and metacognitive skills were less than 0.05 (sig <0.05). It can be concluded that there was an effect of the application of the PjBL learning model with the STEM approach toward students’ creative problem-solving ability and metacognitive skills in physics learning.
This research is based on the need for the importance of a learning media that can introduce local wisdom dan national culture. The research method uses the ADDIE model with 5 stages; Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. In the needs analysis stage, the fact is that there are still not many learning media that contain local wisdom (ethnoscience). The results of the analysis are then continued with the stage of designing an ethnoscience learning media that is in accordance with the characteristics of fourth grade students in elementary schools dan madrasah ibtidaiyah. Poster media was chosen as the media to be developed in this research. This media is then designed in such a way as to combine the concept of science learning with the value of local wisdom in the province of Lampung. The data collection technique used a material expert questionnaire, media expert, linguist, educator response questionnaire dan student response questionnaire. The poster media design was then validated by 6 experts. Based on the final validation results, the percentage of assessment was 89.3% from media experts, 93.3% from material experts dan 91% from linguists with "very feasible" criteria based on the interpretation criteria of the validation results. The next stage is then testing the learning media products on users. The trial was conducted on 35 students in two schools, namely elementary school dan madrasah ibtidaiyah. Based on the results of the questionnaire, the percentage of satisfaction was 91%. The results of the questionnaire were combined with observations dan interviews which described the same results. Based on the results of the assessment, it can be concluded that the poster learning media is very feasible to be used as a science learning medium in SD dan MI. The results of this study are expected to be used as a reference for teachers in developing poster learning media containing ethnoscience.
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk megetahui peningkatan keaktifan belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran IPA di kelas IV Madrasah Ibtidaiyah dengan menerapkan strategi belajar Giving Question And Getting Answer (GQGA). Pendekatan penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan tiga siklus tindakan yang merujuk model Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart. Subyek penelitian ini peserta didik kelas IV MIN 2 Bandar Lampung TA. 2018/2019 sebayak 30 peseta didik. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan test. Analisis penelitian ini, menggunkan pendekatan data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Temuan penelitian menunjukan strategi GQGA dapat meningkatkan keaktifan dan hasil belajar peserta didik dilihat tiga aspek: kerjasama, mengemukakan pendapat, dan pemecahan masalah menunjukan rata-rata siklus I sebesar 71,71%, siklus II rata-rata terjadi peningkatan sebesar 82,18%, dan pada siklus III juga mengalami peningkatan sebesar 88,07% dari standar capain sebesar 80%. Dengan demikian dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa strategi GQGA dapat meningkatkan keaktifan belajar peserta didik pada pemebelajaran IPA tema ”peduli lingkungan, berbagai pekerjaan, dan pahlawanku“.
This study aims to analyze the professionalism of early childhood teachers in mastering the material based on academic qualifications and work experience. The approach to research sequential explanatory mixed methods design; The first phase using descriptive quantitative involving 57 teachers, data were collected through a questionnaire, analyzed descriptively and inferentially assisted by SPSS version 26.0. The second phase used a holistic multi-case study involving six school principals, data were collected through in-depth interviews and analysis documents, analyzed interactively with the assistance of Nvivo 12.0. The results showed that there was no difference in teacher professionalism based on academic qualifications and work experience. The second phase finds; teacher professionalism is not only influenced by academic qualifications and work experience, teacher professionalism is also influenced by various professional trainings that have been attended, and prospective teachers who choose the early childhood education programs major do not fully understand the substance of the lecture program related to their professionalism.
Education is the main factor that needs to be improved in quality and simple parameters can be seen from the learning outcomes of students. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was a significant effect on the use of Multimedia Animated Type Numbered Head Together (NHT) Learning Model towards the improvement of students' learning outcomes in Class IV MIN 11 Bandar Lampung. This type of research uses Quasi Exsperiment with data collection techniques in the form of intensive observation, in-depth interviews, testing with tests, and analysis of school documentation. The next data analysis was tested using the t test, with previous assumptions of normality and homogeneity tests fulfilled. The calculation results show that tcount = 5.621 is greater than ttable = 2.002, therefore the conclusion of this study can be drawn that there is a very significant effect on the use of Numbered Head Together (NHT) type of cooperative learning model assisted by multimedia animation for improving students' learning outcomes in class IV MIN 11 Bandar Lampung.
