This study aims to explore learning with case-based learning (CBL) approach to increase student participation individually and collaboratively. This method was implemented in International Human Resource Management (HRMI) lectures. As 125 respondents filled out a response questionnaire to see students' perceptions of the case-based learning process. The following are the results of the research: 1) lecturers deliver lecture materials communicatively and have an essentials role as an opening in the learning process to stimulate enthusiasm, participation, and understanding that leads to how far the level of student satisfaction in the learning process; 2) student participation in the discussion of the material was only 59.2% of the total respondents, this happened due to the reduction in the duration of lectures during the pandemic. To coping this phenomenon, lecturers prepared video material for each chapter in each meeting to be accessed independently. 3) less than half of the respondents were active in discussing cases (48.8%). It is relevant to the findings of students feeling afraid/anxious to show up/talk in discussing cases. Next, the CBL method has a significant effect on students' enthusiasm, participation, understanding, and satisfaction more and less with a percentage range from 12.9% to 43.1%. Also, the level of students' understanding that emerged from this case-based learning method was as much as 30.9%, which was understood from the beginning to involved in the value component other than the mid-term and final exams. Study for the future is the need to pay attention to class ratios, learning media (face-to-face or virtual), the readiness of the technology used by teachers and class participants, and how relevant the cases with the lecture material delivered.

Teacher performance in Indonesia is like a complex phenomenon, combining bright and shadowy sides. Many teachers in Indonesia still need to improve their qualifications and competencies. This study aims to analyze the influence of motivation and competence on teacher performance and career development as mediating variables. This research was conducted on Telkom Malang Vocational School teachers, with 71 teachers as respondents. The sampling technique uses saturated sampling or census. Data collection was carried out using questionnaire techniques. The data analysis technique uses the PLS-SEM method with SmartPLS software. The results showed that motivation did not significantly affect teacher performance or career development. Conversely, competence positively and significantly influences teacher performance and career development. However, career development does not affect teacher performance. In addition, motivation does not affect teacher performance through career development, and competence does not affect teacher performance through career development. There is a need to focus on developing teacher competencies to improve their performance and career. Motivation may not be a key factor, but it is vital to maintain adequate motivation in a work environment.

Learning poetry appreciation is essentially learning to explore the values contained in the poem. However, the facts show that until now, poetry is still considered as one of the most difficult and boring subjects. Learning with the Think-Pair-Share Cooperative Model in Poetry Appreciation Learning for class X MA Hidayatul Ummah Pringgoboyo for the 2021/2022 academic year can help students improve their learning achievement. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of Think-Pair-Share Cooperative learning on Poetry Appreciation material in terms of: (1) teacher activity, (2) student activity, (3) student learning completeness, and (4) student response in class X MA. Hidayatul Ummah Pringgoboyo. The source of data in this study were students of cass X MA Hidayatul Ummah Pringgoboyo. Tis research used descriptive qalitative methods. Data collection techniques used are observation methods, tests, and questionnaires.Obtained from student complete learning the teacher positive value is 93,75& and the student’s positive activity is 95.16%, and the result of the stdent’s positive response are 78%.Poetry in clas X MA Hidayah Ummah Pringgoboyo Acad Observation methods are used to determine the activities of teachers and in the 2021/2022 academic year.
