Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh gambaran tentang Sistem perekrutan siswa baru untuk meningkatkan mutu siswa. Penelitian sistem penerimaan siswa baru berbasis web ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif yakni metode penelitian yang digunakan untuk meneliti pada kondisi obyek yang alamiah dimana peneliti adalah sebagai instrumen kunci. Hasil penelitian ini menujukkan bahwa perencanaan system perekrutan siswa baru sudah sesuai dengan standar dilihat dari terlaksananya indicator memperhatikan daya tampung dan besarnya kelas (class size), adanya kriteria calon siswa, adanya penerapan sistem yang objektif, transparan dan akuntabel dan adanya prosedur baku yang diterapkan dalam PSB. Pengorganisasian penerimaan siswa baru kriteria penerimaan dan sistem seleksi, dilakukannya pembuatan, pemasangan dan pengiriman pengumuman siswa baru, dilakukannya pendaftraan siswa baru, dilakukannya proses seleksi siswa baru, penentuan siswa baru yang diterima, pengumuman siswa baru yang diterima, dan dilakukannya registrasi/daftar ulang bagi siswa baru yang diterima. Pengarahan system perekrutan siswa baru dengan indikator berbagai jalur seleksi penerimaan siswa baru, masuk dalam kategori standar karena menerapkan tiga jalur seleksi dalam penerimaan siswa baru yaitu jalur regular, jalur prestasi dan jalur lingkungan. Sedangkan untuk indikator pelaksanaan masa orientasi siswa masuk dalam kategori standar. Pengendalian perekrutan siswa baru terlihat dari terlaksananya indikator monitoring dan evaluasi. Monitoring dan evaluasi baru dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah, sedangkan monitoring dan evaluasi oleh komite sekolah.
This study aimed at investigating the problems of Arabic teachers’ professional competence in improving the quality of the graduates at MA Al-Musdariyah 2 Cimahi. Phenomenology, scientific approach, and a formal juridical approach were used as the method in this study. This study belonged to a case study. The result of this study showed that the main problems related to the teacher’s professional competence in teaching and learning Arabic were an unsuitable academic qualification, the lack of teachers’ welfare, teachers’ discipline and awareness, tutoring, and training. The implication of this study indicated that teachers’ professional competence to improve the quality of the graduates had been implemented. However, the implementation of teachers’ professional competence was considered less than optimal. It influenced the quality of the graduates. In other words, the objectives of teaching and learning activities were not achieved. Therefore, in this case, teachers as the most important factor in teaching and learning processes should improve their competences as a manifestation to improve the quality of the graduates.
Education in Indonesia until now has not been able to answer moral inequality. This is because the education system that is schooling focuses on the transfer of knowledge and pays less attention to character education, limited hours of lessons, and the weak implementation of character education in educational institutions. Based on this, a breakthrough is needed to change the behavior of students, one of which is the Implementation of Integrated Quality Management in Islamic boarding schools, which can improve student discipline through training, habituation, and example. The purpose of the study was to determine and analyze the implementation of integrated management of noble character education in improving student discipline. The results of the study, that the quality of character education programs through good educational activities in dormitories or madrasas. The quality of kyai's leadership with charismatic leadership with a colligial collective management approach. Quality of the decision-making process with colligial collectives. Quality evaluation of character education with academic evaluation and parenting. The preserved values of the pesantren are the five souls of the cottage, consisting of the values of sincerity, simplicity, independence, ukhuwah Islamiyah and responsible freedom. The impact of character education is that the discipline character of the students is increased and the students are committed to the values and rules of the pesantren. The Integrated Management-Based Character Education Model used, consists of inputs, processes, outputs and outcomes which are managed using an integrated management typical of Pesantren.
This article aims to describe the pattern of the leadership of Kiai and activities Pondok Pesantren Buntet Cirebon West Java. The method used is qualitative descriptive. In conclusion: (1) the Leadership of Kiai in organizing and managing pesantren Buntet shows responsibility, attention, full of appeal and a big influence for the students. Attitudes, behavior, and actions Kiai observed and interpreted by the students in the life sehani-day in pesantren Buntet. (2) Pesantren Buntet manages the learning shalaf with the system sorogan, wetonan, halaqah, and Bahtsul Masa ‘il and Khalaf with the learning system of the modern and innovative. (3) the supporting Factors in managing learning in Pesantren Buntet: (a) lack of awareness, willingness, competence, and expertise of the Kiai sepuh and manager better. (b) maintaining the attitude and behavior of noble character. (c) the relationship of Kiai and santri, dan Kiai with the community very well. The inhibiting factor is: (a) minimal supporting infrastructure and facilities. (b) the limited education budget. (c) the limited local learning and infrastructure of learning. (d) the management of the boarding school of the weak and the Period of study for quite a long time. (4) the Efforts of the improvement and development of pesantren Buntet of endeavoring to overcome the obstacles faced Pesantren Buntet.
Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui internalisasi nilai-nilai karakter melalui metode keteladanan guru di sekoah. Hal ini berangkat dari sebuah pandangan bahwa kesuksesan dalam penanaman nilai-nilai karakter pada suatu proses pendidikan tidak dapat dilepaskan dari keteladanan yang diberikan oleh guru terhadap para peserta didik. Jenis penelitian dalam penelitian ini menggunkan medotode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah terdiri dari guru, dan peserta didik SMAN 1 Pamnukan Subang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, dokumentasi dan wawancara. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini pendidikan karakter yaitu pendidikan yang di dalamnya terdapat proses pengembangan nilai-nilai karakter bangsa pada setiap individu, sehingga setiap individu mempunyai karakter dan nilai sebagai karakter dirinya, mengimplementasikan setiap nilai religius pada kehidupan sehari-hari, sebagai anggota masyarakat, dan warga negara yang berjiwa nasioanalis, kreatif, produktif dan religius. Nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter seperti nilai religius, jujur, disiplin, bertanggung jawab, peduli sosial, peduli lingkungan, mandiri, cinta tanah air dan semangat kebangsaan. Tindakan memberikan keteladanan yang dilakukan oleh guru kepada peserta didik yaitu dengan membeikan contoh melalui perkataan, perbuatan dan berbagai metode yang lain, seperti dengan memberikan contoh melalui penjelasan secara langsung. Selain itu pemberian contoh juga dilakukan dengan melakukan penayangan video pendek yang di dalamnya mengandung nilai religius, dan selalu mencontohkan berpakain yang rapih dan sopan.
