Kanker serviks adalah kanker pada wanita dengan jumlah terbesar keempat di dunia dan terbesar kedua di Indonesia setelah kanker payudara. Kanker serviks merupakan kanker yang terjadi pada daerah organ reproduksi wanita (leher rahim) yang merupakan pintu masuk ke arah rahim yang disebabkan oleh Human Papilloma Virus (HPV). Kanker serviks dapat dicegah melalui pemeriksaan deteksi dini salah satunya dengan metode IVA. Perilaku pemeriksaan IVA pada Wanita Pasangan Usia Subur (WPUS) dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor yakni faktor pendukung dan faktor penguat. Dukungan suami merupakan salah satu dari faktor penguat tersebut. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh dukungan suami terhadap perilaku WPUS dalam melakukan pemeriksaan IVA. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelusuran literatur. Penelusuran literatur ini dilakukan dengan menelaah hubungan antara dukungan suami dengan pemeriksaan IVA berdasarkan 9 jurnal kesehatan yang dipublikasikan 10 tahun terakhir baik dalam bahasa Indonesia maupun bahasa Inggris yang sesuai dengan kriteria dan didapat melalui berbagai mesin pencari. Hasil dari 9 jurnal yang telah di review 8 diantaranya menjelaskan dukungan suami dapat meningkatkan perilaku pemeriksaan IVA pada WPUS dengan range nilai Odds Ratio berkisar 3,69 sampai 46,6. Dukungan suami memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap perilaku WPUS dalam melakukan pemeriksaan IVA untuk mencegah kanker serviks.
The development of reproductive technology for the separation of spermatozoa with X and Y chromosomes, which is better known as sexing, can be carried out in vitro using various methods, one of which is using freeze dry egg whites. This study aims to determine the quality of semen based on incubation time. This study used four types of treatment, namely P0 = No Incubation, P1 = Incubation 30 minutes, P2 = Incubation 45 minutes, P3 = Incubation 60 minutes with six replications. Parameters observed were the quality of spermatozoa macroscopically (volume, odor, color and consistency) and microscopically (motility, abnormality, concentration, intact plasma membrane, intact acrosome cap). Y using descriptive statistical test. The results of analysis of variance that sexing spermatozoa using freeze dry egg whites at different incubation times showed a significant effect (P<0.05) on intact plasma membrane (IPM), intact acrosomal membrane (IAM), but had no significant effect P>0.05) on concentration, motility, and abnormalities. Evaluation of fresh Bali cattle spermatozoa showed results that were in accordance with the standards for further examination of semen sexing. Incubation time of 30 minutes in the sexing process of spermatozoa caused a significant decrease in motility and concentration, meanwhile, IPM and IAM of sexed spermatozoa experienced a significant decrease in incubation time of 60 minutes, but the decrease was still within the normal range for spermatozoa. to be used in the artificial insemination process. Antidiabetic activity test of ethanolic extract of ketepeng cina leaves (Senna alata L.) to rats induced by alloxan has been done. Male wistar albino rats weree used as animal models which divided into 6 groups, normal group (aquadest), negative control group (Sodium CMC 0,5%), positive control group (insulin by 1IU/kgBW), and 3 test group (ethanolic extract of ketepeng cina leaves 200, 400, dan 800 mg/kgBB). Rats blood glucose level after induced intraperitoneally by alloxan 130 mg/kgBB can be stated as diabetic when >200 mg/dL. Antidiabetic-activity was tested by measuring on blood sugar levels by using the DTN-410-K fotometer, on day 0, 5, 10, and 15. The result of AUC0-15 and percentage of decreasing blood sugar levels for positive control group are 2557,35 and 51,20%, and 3 treatment groups (200 mg/kgBW, 400 mg/kgBW, and 400 mg/kgBW) 2745,6 and 39,94%; 2618,55 and 47,54%; 2448,425 and 57,72%. This point indicated that the ethanolic extract of ketepeng cina leaves has an antidiabetic activity and there is no significant difference compared with insulin (p<0,05). 800 mg/kgBW dose is the effectivity dose from other treatment doses, because it had the lowest AUC0-15 and the highest perscentage of decreasing blood sugar levels. According to the relation between percentage of blood glucose decrease level with dose, value of ED50 of ethanolic extract of ketepeng cina leaves is 522.413 mg/kgBW.
Cancer has been a major cause of death in several countries, according to a recent report from the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) which more than 300,000 cases diagnosed and killed reaching 145,000 people. Indoensia has provided lots of resources that has capability as anti-cancer. This study aimed to discover bioactivity of potential compound from several Indonesian’s plants i.e Persea americana, Allium sativum and Ficus sepatica to prevent cancer based on reverse docking studies by using PyMOL v1.7.4.5 Software (Schrödinger), the PyRx 0.8 software and SwissAdme Prediction. The seed of Avocado Persea americana has terpenoid that has a potential in cancer inhibitor with Aldo-Keto Reductase family 1 member B10. The main compound of garlic A. sativum is S-allylcysteine and Lysine-specific demethylase as target protein. Ficus sepatica has Antofin as potential compound and Steroid 17-alpha-hydroxylase as the protein. The binding affinity value are -7.8, -5.1 and 8,9 respectively.
