The article explores the issues of the objective approach to managing the educational process allowing to effectively update and monitor it. The study is aimed at organizing the processes of control and management of the quality of educational programs with reduced time costs. The authors have researched the processes of methodological support of the educational process and the corresponding documents of an educational organization. An information system for monitoring and managing the quality of educational programs has been developed. The authors have developed models of the problem area, allowing one to determine the bottlenecks in organizing education quality control. The results of the study are meant for the internal audit of educational services and carrying out the procedures of public control, accreditation, or licensing of an educational organization. They allow for the quantitative evaluation of the educational program content and unambiguous interpretation of the obtained result. For this, the authors have developed an objective system for assessing the quality of educational programs. The assessment includes a set of objective indicators with a certain significance: for example, compliance with certain standards, the use of relevant peer-reviewed literature, agreed forms of education, a point-rating system, etc. All criteria are divided into blocks, each of which has a corresponding conformity assessment system. The developed assessment scale unifies the quality monitoring procedure, reduces subjective evaluations, and ensures less time-consuming monitoring of the quality of an educational program at the different stages of its life cycle.

Over the past decade virtual reality technologies have been actively introduced into all spheres of life, affecting, among other things, the education sector. The purpose of this study is to develop a concept introducing a virtual reality simulator into educators' training. The underlying principle of the study is to design a virtual reality environment that, firstly, facilitates the development of conflict resolution competence for the students of pedagogical faculties, and secondly, facilitates its performance evaluation. In this article, approaches to design such a virtual reality simulator are discussed. The purpose of the simulator is to develop conflict resolution competences that are indispensable to future teachers. Besides the current study presents a set of situational cases, that are possible to resolve in a virtual reality environment. The resolution of those cases will help future teachers to prevent conflicts as well as to determine their behaviour in pre-conflict and conflict situations. The components of conflict resolution competence that are possible to develop with the help of the designed virtual reality simulator have been defined. The conducted study has also identified approaches to evaluate the effectiveness of conflict resolution competence development.
Philosophical analysis of the issues concerning acceleration of the modern civilization development, high dynamics of international life, strengthening of interrelation and interdependence of peoples and states, is especially relevant for professionals studying contemporary society in general, and youth in particular. The dual purpose of the research study is to focus on the definition of the concept of 'globalization', because there is no well-established precise definition in scientific practice, and both Western European and Russian researchers offer their own interpretations for this concept; and to study the ambiguity of the social effects of globalization, which has generated both supporters and fierce opponents of this phenomenon. The study keynote is provided through the social-and-philosophical analysis of the impact of globalization, especially on young people, as well as highlighting the current challenges facing young people today and developing new value orientations. The author proceeds from the data obtained in the sociological research conducting the scientific literature review and students' group and in-depth interviews in Russian universities. The analytical work made it possible to propose some steps in overcoming the challenges of globalization, and the author comes to a conclusion about the need to undertake a further large-scale study of the globalization process. The materials of the paper may be useful to researchers, as well as teachers and professionals involved in the education of young people. Key words: globalization, philosophical analysis of globalization, cultural globalization, ways to fight globalization, young people, internet Introduction Dynamism and acceleration, mobility and increasing flow of information are the defining characteristics of modern life. These features penetrate and connect not only people's daily lives but also the lives of entire states. We can easily move anywhere in the world, and smart phones give us access to expert-level advice service and information. Moreover, we are able to convey emotions using emoticons when we communicate with foreigners and don't speak their language, and loss of the mobile phone causes our panic. These examples can be continued and continued, and prove that globalization increasingly impacts aspects of our scientific and everyday life. Scientists offer several options for the interpretation of this term. For example, German sociologist U. Beck (2001) analyses globalization as a multi-dimensional process: economic, social, political, cultural, technological, and ecologic. For him, an obvious outcome of the industrial modernity success has been connected with its ability to cross borders and infiltrate cultures; though, globalization is not a benign process as it challenges the territoriality and sovereignty of the nation-state, and reduces the authority of the state and its citizens to act unilaterally or independently. He treats it as the inability of the countries to fence off from each other. In this regard, the pol...
The COVID-19 affecting the whole world has also affected education. Education has changed from face-to-face education to distance education. In distance education, it is the most basic duty of teachers to increase students’ participation in the lesson, motivate their learning and increase their motivation. Gamification, which is one of the new learning approaches that has come to the fore in the education process, can be used for active learning activities in this model. This study was aimed to determine university students’ views on gamified education. In this context, gamification activities were used in the teaching process. In this study, the qualitative research method was used. The study group of the research consists of 30 second-grade students studying at North Cyprus and some Russian Universities, in the Faculty of Education, Department of Preschool Education. The application was carried out within the scope of the computer I course in the 2020–2021 fall semester. The interview form developed by the researchers was used as a data collection tool within the scope of the research. In preparing the interview questions, the final form of the questions was given by taking the opinions of four experts. Content analysis was used in the study of the data. The findings obtained as a result of the research are given in detail in the findings and results section.
The relevance of the work is determined by the need for a theoretical understanding of the problem of cultural interaction in the modern world. The process of globalization, which is underway, leads to the expansion of interrelationships and interdependencies of different peoples, including the problem of learning the specifics of cultures in the context of building an efficient local and global dialog based on the soft power policy. The purpose of the article is to analyze the crisis of the soft power policy in the spread of the Russian language as the most important tool of ethnic self-preservation. The methodological basis of the study consists of theoretical methods: the synthesis method is applied to study the problematic area of interaction between language and culture, in particular when considering the soft power policy. The combination of descriptive, comparative, and historical methods, as well as methods of classification and analytical reading, contributed to the formation of the author's understanding of the problem. The article presents the author's study of the soft power policy in the Russian education system. It discusses the signs of a crisis in the implementation of the soft power policy that has manifested themselves, on the one hand, through the changes of the main state documents regulating the education process, and on the other hand, the real results of the Russian language study are revealed. Upon analysis, the authors have identified and formulated a number of contradictions in the practice of the Russian language teaching in terms of the soft power policy application and also have come to the conclusion that, to overcome the crisis in the Russian language teaching, some viable options should be taken into account such as strong intellectual potential, experience and traditions of the national school.
In this research, information about Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) and Distance education was given to prospective sci-ence teachers and the integration of STEM into courses was emphasized. On the other hand, an experimental study was conducted to support the re-search on STEM Education and distance education. The study group of this research consisted of 328 science teacher candidates studying in the 4th grade of university. Some of these students were randomly selected as the experimental group and the others as the control group. In the study carried out in the science laboratory course, while the course was taught according to STEM Education and Distance Education in the experimental group; In the control group, the lessons continued as normal. The application in ques-tion was carried out based on a quasi-experimental study. The study was implemented during the 2020-2021 fall semester. Before the application, the learning level test, which was valid and reliable, was applied regarding the subjects. As a result of the application, a significant difference was found between the students in the experimental group and the students in the control group in favor of the experimental group in which STEM Educa-tion and Distance Education were applied. In line with these results, STEM Education and Distance Education were found to be effective in improving the success of university teacher candidates, and it was added to the re-search results.
