Ideal learning affects the achievement of learning objectives. To achieve this goal, innovative learning media are needed to develop student’s skills in finding concept based on discovery learning. The purpose of this research is to describe the development stage, analyse feasibility, analyse readability, and describe student responses. This study applies the Research and Development 3D model (define, design, develop). The results of the research reveal that the define includes the analysis of the initial end, students, assignments, concepts, and learning objectives. Design includes working on the support criteria, media determination, format, and initial design. Develop includes validation, LKPD readability test, and response test. The average validation reached 85,2% (very decent), readability reached 3,94% in the very good category, and the response percentage was 85,8% (very strong). Thus, Discovery Learning-based worksheets on Animalia kingdom material are feasible to be applied as learning media.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the achievement of science-technology-religion-engineering-arts-mathematics (STREAM) aspects on products made by students. The product in question is in the form of a report of a Plant Anatomy structure model project. This research uses The Static-Group Comparison Design. Purposive sampling was carried out on 39 Biology Education students of class A in semester IV with project assignments without intervention through the STREAM approach (regular class). The intervention class, 38 students of class C in semester IV with project assignments using the STREAM approach (intervention class). Each student designs and creates one of the structure models of either roots, stems, or leaves. Students also make the project report, where the project report assignment guideline is in the form of a performance task. The research instrument of this study is an analytical rubric along with a score of 0 - 4 with certain criteria and field notes. The data measured in this study is the percentage of achievement on certain criteria. The results showed that the engineering aspect was the strongest in the intervention class, reaching the "excellent" category in the intervention class of 100%. The regular class reached 64.10% with the "good" criteria in the engineering aspect. The art aspect is the weakest in both classes with varying criteria. The achievement of criteria in the intervention class showed better results than the regular class. The STREAM approach can be applied to Biology Education students through the assignment of a Plant Anatomy structure model project.
Learning online during pandemic COVID-19 must still accommodate creativity. This study aimed to identify the level of student creativity using the STREAM (Science-Technology-Religion-Engineering-Arts-Mathematics) approach. It was conducted on an online practicum in the Plant Anatomy course. The purpose of this study was to identify the level of student creativity in various indicators of creativity through a performance assessment of the product of the practicum report. The static-group comparison design was used as the research design. The target population is the fourth-semester student in the Department of Biology Education. The samples were chosen using purposive sampling, determining class IV-A (39 students) as a regular class and class IV-C (38 students) as intervention one. The research was equipped with creativity performance tasks, rubrics with a scoring of practicum reports' performance assessments, and field notes. Each student designs and makes one of the anatomical structural models of roots, stems, or leaves. The practicum report was used to identify their level of creativity. The data were analyzed by calculating the creativity level percentage in a qualitative descriptive manner. The results showed that the creativity level of the intervention class is excelling (57.89%), while the regular class the emerging (58.79%). The STREAM approach provides a better level of creativity.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
