The purpose of this research is to get an idea of the psychological welfare of street children who live in shelters, psychological characteristics of these children and parenting skills mapping foster parents in a shelter. This research use both quantitative and qualitative research with samples of 40 street children residing in ‘LIPONSOS UPTD Kampung Anak Negeri’ and ‘Rumah Pintar Matahari’, and three caregivers in two places. Data gathering tools using the Child Life Satisfaction Scale is an adaptation of the Multidimensional Students' Life Satisfaction Scale developed by Scott Huebner (2001) and a structured interview guide. Data analysis techniques in this study is the Pearson correlation technique and content analysis. Results of analysis of data on the variables mental life Satisfaction of children show that there were 10 children with very low (25%)mental life satisfaction, in the low category 2 (5%), the medium category 16 (40%), and high categories of 12 childrens (30%) and none at all were included in the very high category. A general description of the psychological characteristics of childrens who are in shelters, as follows: general conditions for children are still carried away with the previous environment, speech is still rough, still often quarrel; childrens are still difficult to set, lack of discipline, disrespectful; rebellious / disobedient; likes telling personal problems; still likes violation of the rules established foundations / shelters; have a tendency to get revenge if corporal punishment and have a tendency to be perpetrators and victims of bullying / violence. Meanwhile parenting skills mapping in shelters include: patient and gentle in dealing with the child; the face of the child is not with anger; distantlyrelated to children; must patiently faced children from various backgrounds; talk to children in a good way; children need the attention of caregivers; responsible for children's issues to convey; monitoring children and approached the children so he would open; role as fathers, listen to them and provide solutions to probl ems that children naturally; try to be on time, take care of nature, set the time, give adequate attention to children; communication and ensure the children in good condition; accommodate a story about the problems children with friends and homesick; advise children who are still lazy; impose appropriate penalties for the error, but not corporal punishment; maintain transparency and create a comfortable condition and safe for children, they should treat the family; accepting input from children; provide guidance to children who resist; treat children in accordance with their individual characteristics; reward for positive behavior.
This research aims to investigate the influence of marriage communication skills and sexual satisfaction on the marriage quality of female nurses who work at a mental hospital and whose husbands also work. Working females, especially those who work in shifts, have less time to spend with their families and spouse, which, in turn prove to be great challenges to building a good relationship between partners. Our principal instrument of data collection is questionnaires. 108 female nurses who work at Dr. Radjiman Wediodiningrat Mental Hospital and have working husbands participated on this study. The results of the multiple regression analysis demonstrated that marriage communication skills and sexual satisfaction can influence marriage quality. This finding suggests that the marriage communication skills variable and the sexual satisfaction variable exert 58.1% influence on the marriage quality variable, while the remaining 41.9% influence is exerted by other variables. These findings are expected to support our recommendation for employing institutions to reconsider the distribution of their employees' working hours, so that each individual can spend more time with their families. Besides that, every couple must proactively find the best way to maintain their marriage quality by taking into account communication quality and sexual satisfaction factors.
Abstract. Research aims to understand how the effects of the therapy Al-Qur'an to their students tunalaras .Methods used in the study literature and observation .This research in one of vocational high school , south tangerang .Participants this research 10 students and 2 teacher-chaperon ( teachers of counseling and religion teachers ) .The results that there is an increase of a change in attitude and behavior that better as quieter in be , reduced truant , capable of mengotrol self , emotion , and follows the school activities from students tunalaras with therapy the Al-Qur'an .As go activities in school ( learn in the class , eskstra kulikuler that is in school ( osis and rohis ) .The changes requiring support from; ( 1 ) family environment; ( 2 ) the vicinity of the school (3) The community to students tunalaras to be able to and had the changes especially on adjustment own good that behavior / deviate behavior attached to he could change through the one conducted with by all parties who care and want to on changes in students tunalaras.Keyword: Therapy of Al-Qur'an, tunalaras.Abstrak. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana efek dari Terapi Al-Qur'an pada siswa tunalaras. Metode yang digunakan dalam studi literature dan observasi. Penelitian ini di salah satu Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan , Tangerang Selatan. Partisipan penelitian ini 10 siswa dan 2 guru pendamping (guru bimbingan konseling dan guru agama). Hasil yang diperoleh bahwa ada peningkatan perubahan sikap dan perilaku yang lebih baik seperti lebih tenang dalam bersikap, berkurangnya membolos, mampu mengotrol diri, emosi, serta mau mengikuti kegiatan sekolah dari siswa tunalaras dengan terapi Al-Qur'an. Seperti mulai mengikuti kegiatan di sekolah (belajar di kelas, eskstra kulikuler yang ada di sekolah (OSIS dan ROHIS). Perubahan itu memerlukan dukungan dari;(1) lingkungan keluarga;(2) lingkungan sekolah (3) lingkungan masyarakat kepada siswa tunalaras agar mampu dan memiliki perubahan terutama pada penyesuaian diri yang baik sehingga tingkah laku/perilaku menyimpang yang melekat pada dirinya dapat berubah melalui proses yang dilakukan bersama oleh semua pihak yang peduli dan mau terhadap perubahan siswa tunalaras.Kata Kunci: Terapi Al-Qur'an, tunalaras.
This research aims to analyze relation between HIV infection status and religiousness and subjective well being women survivor in Surabaya. The method of this research used interview and questioner toward 28 HIV/AID women survivors in Surabaya.That subjects were selected of 50 women survivors in Surabaya to gain positive HIV diagnosis. In early psychological intervention, we had 30 participants but only 28 participants who attended in medical analysis. Data analysis used statistical test with correlation analysis between psychological and medical variable. As the result, there is a correlation between HIV infection status and religiousness and subjective well being women survivors in Surabaya. It means, if they have a HIV infection status, they have better religiousness and level of subjective well being.
