A ideia de economia criativa tem sido adotada por diversos governos e organizações internacionais como diretriz de políticas públicas para os setores de Comunicação e cultura. Implícita em seu conceito está uma perspectiva que rearticula a relação entre cultura, economia e sociedade. No Brasil, o Ministério da Cultura (MinC) criou a Secretaria da Economia Criativa com objetivo de implementar políticas culturais que fomentem a economia criativa no país. Neste artigo, analisa-se o projeto do MinC para economia criativa. Realizando uma Análise do Discurso apresentado no Plano da Secretaria da Economia Criativa 2011-2014, o objetivo do artigo é destacar e entender as transformações que se operam no uso do termo "cultura" pelo governo brasileiro e avaliar suas consequências para o campo da cultura. A adoção do termo "criatividade" para políticas culturais implica uma nova abordagem do Estado brasileiro ao campo da cultura, o que demanda uma profunda mudança na dinâmica e estrutura do MinC.
O objetivo do presente artigo é apresentar um relato condensado da história da indústria fonográfica no Brasil, desde os primeiros anos do século XX até os dias atuais (1900-2010). Baseando-se numa pesquisa bibliográfica, que compreendeu livros publicados, teses de doutorado e as atuais pesquisas dos autores, este trabalho pretende oferecer uma visão geral da dinâmica da indústria de registros sonoros, articulando aspectos tecnológicos, econômicos e socioculturais que influenciaram o desenvolvimento dessa indústria cultural no país. Dessa forma, pretende-se lançar luz sobre relações entre esse negócio de comunicação e cultura e a música popular brasileira, auxiliando futuras pesquisas relacionadas ao tema.

Entende-se que esses novos empreendimentos experimentam, de forma peculiar, o conflito entre interesses divergentes, tornando-se um privilegiado objeto de estudo sobre o atual momento da destruição criadora da indústria da música. Adotando uma abordagem socioeconômica dos mercados de comunicação e cultura, realiza-se um estudo de caso exploratório a partir da descrição e análise da experiência de consumo de mídia sonora nesses programas e das estratégias de monetização do consumo musical. ABSTRACTThis paper analyzes the streaming music services in order to understand how the conciliation of digital content's new consumption practices affects the development of music industry agents' business model. It is assumed that these new enterprises of the digital environment experience more intensely the conflicts between divergent interests, making it a privileged object of study on the current situation of the creative destruction of the music industry. By adopting a socioeconomic approach to communication and culture markets, we conducted an exploratory case study based on the description and subsequent analysis of user experience in these programs and the monetization strategies of musical consumption. No presente texto, analisa-se a formação da indústria fonográfica utilizando como referencial a história dos suportes sonoros para música. A hipótese é que os diferentes meios de comunicação que transportam a informação sonora revelam aspectos importantes das relações da indústria fonográfica com outros ramos da comunicação. O objetivo é entender quais são os efeitos de diferentes tecnologias da comunicação no desenvolvimento da fonografia, dos primórdios à era digital.
Neste texto, articula-se o significado político da produção fonográfica independente no Brasil, no final da década de 1970, ao contexto cultural e político dos anos 1960 e 1970. A hipótese é que tal conotação está intimamente ligada ao desenvolvimento do mercado de bens simbólicos no país e ao engajamento político da classe dos músicos no nacionalismo do pósguerra. O objetivo é demonstrar como o viés político emprestado à produção independente pode ser relacionado ao desenrolar desses processos.
