Urban development and population aging are distinct, multiple and complex processes. Emphasizing the right to the city, the issue of housing stands out, in this sense, living in a dignified manner, conveys conditions in the preservation and identity of the resident, guaranteeing the place's belonging. Therefore, the general objective of this study is to analyze the habitability of a housing unit in a condominium designed for the elderly in the city of Patos-PB. To achieve this objective, it is necessary to specifically: assess accessibility through basic guidelines; analyze the functionality and usability of residents, and finally; subsidize improvements in the habitability of housing in new condominiums to be implemented, and thus contribute to the housing program under study. This research is characterized as exploratory and descriptive, as far as its nature is concerned, the field study was approached, where on-site visits and surveys of the project under study were carried out, through measurements, comparisons and observances of the resident's usability. It was observed that the initial proposal of the project meets the basic needs, with regard to the accessibility guidelines, however, when analyzing the habitability in the functionality axis, it is considered that the condominium was not properly designed for the elderly with regard to I respect the conditions that stimulate the elderly resident to experience the space in a more active and independent way.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the influence of academic training on the entrepreneurial intention of the administration students from UEPB of Patos-PB. Characterized as a qualitative, participatory and descriptive research, the present investigation had its data collection conducted by a semistructured interview protocol with 21 (twenty one) administration students. The analysis of the results was based on an analysis of the content from which four categories emerged, from which it can be concluded that the administration students have entrepreneurial characteristics, but even with this entrepreneurial profile, some prefer not to follow in the area, others are already entrepreneurs and others have the will. Regarding the influence of the academic formation in relation to the entrepreneurial intention, the research presented a positive result, since the course exerts influence for the entrepreneurial intention, however, for those who have the entrepreneurial spirit and the preparation that the course offers to undertake did not obtain a relevant result, since it left to be desired in the feeling of relating the theory with the practice.
O estudo teve como objetivo identificar a configuração jurídico-institucional e o processo decisório na gestão das Instituições Participativas ou Deliberativas Ambientais no território da cidadania do Médio Sertão-PB, buscando apontar ações da gestão participativa em/nas tomadas de decisões ambientais sustentáveis. Para responder ao objetivo nesta pesquisa, utilizou-se do método qualitativo, além da pesquisa descritiva, documental e de campo. Como resultado, observou-se que os conselhos analisados detêm grande parte de sua funcionalidade focada no desenvolvimento do Programa, havendo pouca ocorrência de falas relacionadas aos impactos na agricultura, cadeia produtiva e sustentabilidade. Podendo sua existência, em maior quantidade de municípios, estar atrelada à questões financeiras (repasse e fiscalização de repasse de recursos), o que diferencia dos Conselhos de temática ambiental, os quais possuem pouca presença dos municípios do território, por não tratar diretamente com políticas públicas que possuam repasses financeiros ou pelo fato da implementação de políticas públicas não estarem atreladas a sua existência. Dentre as questões relacionadas ao processo decisório pode-se destacar que a maior parte das decisões são assuntos relacionados às questões administrativas e burocráticas que dizem respeito à própria gestão pública.
Este estudo tem como objetivo identificar a percepção que os professores universitários de instituições públicas paraibanas detêm sobre a inveja em seus locais de trabalho, por meio da técnica de associação livre de palavras (TALP). As discussões trataram sobre a inveja e suas consequências destrutivas que levam ao sofrimento emocional por meio de comparações ascendentes entre indivíduos. Trata-se de uma pesquisa qualitativa realizada com uma amostra de 69 professores universitários de instituição de ensino superior públicas da Paraíba. Os dados foram coletados por meio de uma survey online. As respostas foram processadas no software IRAMUTEQ versão 7 e analisados a partir da técnica de classificação hierárquica descendente, similitude e nuvem de palavras. Foram observadas 208 ocorrências de palavras, sendo 110 formas distintas. Destas, foram encontradas 79 (71,82%) palavras equiparadas por meio hierárquico descendente, que resultaram em 2 categorias: inveja numa percepção emocional e a outra dolorosa. Os resultados indicam uma certa variação na percepção conceitual da palavra inveja, uma vez que pode assumir condutas distintas, como: indiferença, raiva, cobiça, ironia, calúnia, deboche, ódio, desrespeito e, tantos outros. Por fim, conclui-se que a inveja pode ser compreendida como uma emoção ascendente, por enfatizar elementos afetivos negativos desagradáveis, muitas vezes dolorosos caracterizados por sentimentos de inferioridade, hostilidade e ressentimento produzidos pela consciência de outro.
The Bolsa Família program articulates the transfer of income for the implementation of complementary programs, with the aim of promoting human development and the autonomy of the beneficiaries. In the municipality of Patos-PB, the Bolsa Família Program (PBF) has about 10,366 beneficiaries enrolled, there is a much greater demand for enrollees in the CadÚnico who are still waiting for their inclusion in the program. The main objective of this work is to evaluate the monitoring of the complementary actions of the Bolsa Família Program in the Municipality of Patos-PB. Documental and bibliographical researches were done, as well as semi-structured interviews with governmental actors and beneficiaries. The qualitative research was more adequate for the construction of this work. As for the methods of data collection, the case study follows. Being one of the greatest challenges of public policies, monitoring is seen as the continuous examination of processes, products, results and impacts of actions taken in implementation. The work did not achieve its main objective satisfactorily. As these actions have not yet begun to be offered to the beneficiaries directly, but indirectly in the CRAS, through improvement workshops, there is no consistent monitoring. Considering that the expectation of social inclusion is linked to access to public policies, the provision and follow-up of these actions by governmental spheres, are essential for the fight against poverty and hunger, contributing to the so-called exit doors of the Bolsa Família Program.
Considering the context of studies on leadership, the Behavioral Theory stands out, which describes three styles of leader: autocratic, democratic and liberal. Subsequently, organizations also came to recognize the charismatic leader, who influences those led from inspiration. Given the above, this research aimed to evaluate the leadership styles from the point of view of members of the staff of the 14th Federal Court in Patos-PB. The research is classified as exploratory and descriptive, having a qualitative and quantitative approach, whose data collection was based on a questionnaire adapted from Accioly (2006), containing questions about the profile of the interviewees. As for data collection, this is a case study, it was observed that the federal public agency is composed of 30 employees divided into the functions of Magistrate, Director, civil servants, interns, conciliators and outsourced, characterizing themselves as the research population. However, the survey was conducted only with public servants and interns, which obtained a total of 12 respondents, characterized as a sample studied. After analyzing and discursing the results, it was found that, according to the postures pointed out by members of the staff, the autocratic style of leadership is the predominant one. Despite this, the staff considered motivating the presence of managers to the work environment.
It is necessary to provide quality services/products, being an essential factor for any company to remain in the market, so it is necessary to create strategies, seek innovations, adaptations and improvements, to meet the needs and expectations of customers, thus obtaining satisfactory results. This research aims to verify the level of quality of services offered by the University Paulista-UNIP in the city of Itaporanga-PB, in the perception of students of higher education in Administration, Physical Education and Social Work. In this paper will be presented concepts about quality in services, quality in educational services and the importance of distance higher education, these topics addressed theories that contributed to the contextualization of the theme. Regarding the methodological process, an exploratory, qualitative and quantitative research and a case study were conducted from an online questionnaire. Through the results found, it was possible to identify failures and successes in relation to the services provided, being noticeable relevant aspects that demonstrated the satisfaction of the interviewees, was also identified some factors that showed failures according to the students' perception, however, these points need to be improved to meet student needs. From the information obtained, it was possible to conclude that Universidade Paulista offers quality services, since it has been demonstrated students satisfaction with the services.
