The presence of Islamic education is expected to be an alternative solution to educational problems caused by the materialism education system. This present study aims at investigating education from an Islamic perspective and its role in fostering Islamic personality. This study employed a qualitative approach and literature review method. Based on the results of the discussion, there has been no agreed term on education based on Islamic perspective. However, in this case, the writer is more inclined to ta'dÄb as the term for education in Islam since it, based on its conceptual structure, has included the elements of science (ilm), teaching (ta'lÄ«m), and good care (tarbiyaħ). The purposes of Islamic education are to develop an Islamic personality and to master Islamic safaqah, science and technology, and adequate expertise. In Islam, teachers are regarded as a highly honored person, and students are encouraged to maintain good character and conduct (adab) when they interact with their teachers. In addition, Islamic curriculum and education materials are supposed to be in line with the Islamic Aqeedah (faith). In principle, Islamic education methods have their own characteristics and one of them is the Quranic education method. All media and facilities are permissible as long as it does not conflict with the Islamic Aqeedah (faith). The evaluation in Islamic education consists of measurements and assessments covering the aspects of aqliyah, qolbiyah, and amÄliyah. Islamic education plays an important role in fostering Islamic personality since it is inseparable from the idea of Islamic education in order to foster an Islamic personality.
This present study aims at identifying the role of Islamic boarding schools as Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia. This study employed a qualitative approach and literature study method. Based on the results of the study, Islamic boarding schools in fact provided the process of teaching, educating, developing, and spreading the religion of Islam. In relation to the objectives of Islamic boarding schools, it in principle aims to develop Islamic personality, specifically the personality that put more concern on the believing and consciousness of Allah, noble character, piety, usefulness and loyalty to the community, and being a custodian of all humankind (khadim al-ummaħ). The role of Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia was not only as educational institutions but also it took a role as a religious institution operated as a basis against any kind of colonialism, as knowledge institutions, research institutions, training institutions, and community development institutions, and cultural bonds. Tujuan pendidikan pesantren adalah dalam rangka membina kepribadian Islami, yaitu kepribadian yang beriman dan bertakwa kepada Allah Subḥānahu Wa Ta’ālâ, berakhlak mulia, bermanfaat dan berkhidmat kepada masyarakat dengan menjadi pelayan umat (khadim al-ummaħ). Peran pondok pesantren di Indonesia bukan hanya sebagai lembaga pendidikan tetapi berperan juga sebagai lembaga keagamaan yang menjadi basis perlawanan terhadap segala bentuk penjajahan, lembaga keilmuan, lembaga penelitian, lembaga pelatihan, dan lembaga pengembangan masyarakat sekaligus menjadi simpul budaya.Kata Kunci: Pondok Pesantren, Lembaga Pendidikan Islam, Indonesia
This research aims to determine the perspective of Islamic education about conventional learning and critical creative learning. This research is library research and data collection uses documentation method. The data analysis uses a comparative technique, namely researching the philosophical foundations of conventional learning and critical-creative learning and looking at the two learning concepts using the perspective of Islamic education. Islamic education is the process of changing individual behavior in personal life and society through the learning process with an effort to help develop students to be more advanced based on good values in their lives, so that personal human beings are formed, both related to reason, feelings, and actions. The results of this research indicate that the two learning models above are very different conceptually, so there needs to be a creative unification effort from a teacher as a regulator in the learning process. Therefore, the two learning models could be useful according to the conditions and situations, so that there is no need to eliminate the conventional and critical creative learning models. Even learning with this model is very appropriate to the present.
This research aims to determine the effect of internet banking and mobile banking service facilities on customer satisfaction at Indonesia Islamic Bank Tangerang branch office. This type of research is field research with a quantitative, the data collection technique used in this research is the questionnaire data collection method. The population in this study were 500 customers using internet banking and mobile banking, and the sample in this study was 85 respondents using random sampling. The results showed that based on the partial t test, there is a significant effect of internet banking service facilities on customer satisfaction and has a positive relationship. And there is a significant effect of mobile banking on customer satisfaction and has a positive relationship. And based on the simultaneous F test, there is a significant effect of internet banking and mobile banking service facilities on customer satisfaction with an F count of 128.777 with a significance value of F of 0.000. And based on the R test determination of 75.9% the ability of the independent variables to explain the variance of the dependent variable.
Di era modern yang hampir runtuh ini, masih banyak manusia yang menegasikan unsur spiritual, sehingga terjadi dekadensi moral. Fenomena tersebut harus diantisipasi oleh umat Islam dengan menggali kembali ajaran spiritual dan mengaplikasikannya di kehidupan sehari-hari. Dalam agama Islam terdapat ajaran yang sangat menanamkan unsur spirtual dan manajemen hati, yaitu tasawuf. Di antara berbagai tokoh yang menyebarkan pemahaman tentang tasawuf, Syaikh Nawawi Al-Bantani menggambarkan tasawuf yang terintegrasi dalam setiap ibadah dan aktivitas muslim. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan konsep tasawuf Syaikh Nawawi Al-Bantani dan implikasinya terhadap Pendidikan Agama Islam di persekolahan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pen-dekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Pertimbangan penggunaan metode ini adalah untuk mengung-kap konsep tawasuf Syaikh Nawawi Al-Bantani dari berbagai karyanya, dan bagaimana implikasinya terha-dap Pendidikan Agama Islam di persekolahan. Dalam pengumpulan data peneliti menggunakan teknik studi literatur dan library research. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh gambaran mengenai tasawuf Syaikh Nawawi Al-Bantani yang mengintergrasikan antara syariat, tarekat dan hakikat, serta wasiat-wasiat Syaikh Nawawi kepada setiap muslim yang hendak menempuh jalan menuju Allah. Konsep ini terimplikasi dalam Pendidikan Agama Islam yang harus menyeimbangkan antara ketiga aspek, yaitu Aqidah, Syariah, dan Akhlak, serta mengintegrasikan antara aspek kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotor
The purpose of this study is to determine the improvement of the ability to understand mathematical concepts with problem-solving learning modification better than the ability to understand mathematical concepts with conventional learning. This research is a quantitative research type of quasi-experiment. Hypothesis test used in this research is t-test. The result of research indicates that the improvement of students' mathematical concept comprehension ability using problem-solving learning modification is better than the ability to understand mathematical concept using conventional learning.
A biostratigraphic analysis was carried out on 60 samples taken from the Barbatos-1 Well, located within the Tomori Block, Banggai Tertiary Basin, East Arm of Sulawesi. The Barbatos-1 well was selected for this study because it is composed of rock sequences which are the main reservoir in the Tomori Block. Biostratigraphic analysis was conducted to determine the relative age and depositional environment of the sample. The age of the sample is determined based on the interval zone. The depositional environment is estimated based on the ratio of plankton (P/B ratio) and fossil facies. The results revealed that the rock formations studied were deposited in the Miocene to Holocene age. The lowest layer is the Orbulina bilobata-Zone which was deposited at N10 -N12 (lower Middle Miocene) in the bathyal environment. The layer above is a biozonation of Globorotalia menardii, deposited at N12 -N14 (upper Middle Miocene) in a neritic environment. The next layer is the biozonation of Sphaeroidinella subdehiscens -Globigerina praebulloides which was deposited at N14 -N17 (Middle Miocene -Late Miocene) in the bathyal environment. The topmost layer is the biozonation of Orbulina universa -Globigerinoides immaturus which was deposited at N17 -N23 or Pliocene -Holocene in the bathyal environment. In the top two layers, there are fossil fragments that come from older rock layers (Early Tertiary).
