This article aims to determine the management of the Islamic boarding school sunnah system in shaping the character of students at the Al-Mukhlishin Modern Islamic Boarding School Tanjung Morawa. This research is qualitative research. The data collection technique is done by interview, observation, and documentation study. The sources of data in this study were the leaders of the Islamic boarding school, the head of the madrasa, the ustadz (teacher) in the teaching department, the ustadz in the parenting division, and the students of the Al-Mukhlishin Modern Islamic Boarding School in Tanjung Morawa. The results of the study indicate that the Modern Islamic Boarding School Al-Mukhlishin Tanjung Morawa has implemented management in Islamic boarding school activities in the character of santri, this can be seen from the management functions implemented by these functions, including planning, implementation, and evaluation.

Human as mysterious creatures cannot if only be approached by a scientific discipline, they must be understood in an interdisciplinary manner. In writing this journal explaining the possibility of Islamic education has a transdisciplinary meaning to eliminate the separation between general science and the science of religion and all the knowledge developed is related to one another. The method used is the method of discourse analysis and content. The way in which a number of literatures is discussed and analyzed is based on the direction and purpose of the transdisciplinary concept. The results of the discussion in the context of the transdisciplinary Islamic education curriculum must be developed to be holistic in nature that can cover a variety of problems inherent in humans and their development. The ability to achieve it in transdisciplinary Islamic education is the ability to see the world as a value system, each of which has different tasks and functions but still interconnected. This interconnection connection system must be placed in the framework of faith and noble character.
Skills education is a necessity that must be owned by individuals in the era of globalization. This is because life skills are prioritized over knowledge, so an effective management and development system is needed. This paper aims to analyze the management of skills education development in Islam. This research uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method. Reference material is a tool for analyzing and testing the validity of the data. The results of this study indicate that the life skills needed by human resources are (1) general life skills (personal skills, rational thinking skills, social skills, and interpersonal skills) and (2) specific life skills (academic skills and vocational skills). Furthermore, efforts that must be made in developing skills education include reorienting learning, providing vocational skills and reforming educational institutions in terms of management and learning culture. Finally, extracurricular design as an effort to develop student skills education.
