Professional teacher is one of fundamental factors that influences students' success in learning. Therefore, identifying influencing factors can give insight to improve the teachers' professionalism efficiently. The research aims to measure two internal factors, namely meaning in life and teacher leadership, in influencing teacher professionalism. Quantitative with a cross-sectional survey was further applied using explanatory research to examine private junior high school teachers in Balikpapan, East Kalimantan, Indonesia. Using a random sampling technique, 150 teachers was selected as samples. The data were then analyzed through structural equation modeling with smartPLS version 3.3.0. The measurement proved that meaning in life positively influenced the teachers' professionalism and teacher's leadership with a p-value of 0.000 and T-statistic for each is 8.094 and 6.887, respectively. Similarly, teacher leadership positively influences teacher professionalism, with a p-value of 0.000 and T-statistics of 4.554. Besides, meaning in life through teacher leadership contributes to teacher professionalism with a p-value of 0.000. These results recommended the meaning in life and teacher leadership as the internal factors in planning the teacher professional development policy because, to date, the focus was only on the external factor.

This qualitative study described the innovation regarding the application of principal problem solving management to improve school achievement. The results showed that the application of principal problem solving management can improve school achievement characterized by the number of awards received by schools, increased public interest and the existence of other schools that have comparative studies to school. The innovation of principal managerial dealing with various kinds of complex problems will be able to improve school achievement.

This study aims to describe the implementation of the outing class learning strategy and to find out its effects on students' learning outcomes in science subject. This qualitative study uses students in 5 th grade as the primary data, and the class teachers who teach science subjects as the secondary data. Data collection techniques used are observation, interview and documentation. From the results of observations in the field the outing class strategy has been carried out by the teachers at the place where the research was carried out in accordance with the steps in the learning strategy. The learning process that has been done is starting from planning the lesson plan, syllabus, methods, media and equipment used, implementation is done outside the classroom and after learning is done, there is an evaluation of learning outcomes. Based on the results of interviews, observation and documentation, it can be seen that by using the outing class strategy, elementary school teachers can improve students' science learning outcomes. This can be seen from the student's science learning outcomes that improved after learning outing classes.
