Thinking styles are a matter of choice in individuals' use of their abilities. In other words, they are processes that determine individuals' attitude towards the problems they encounter and their way of self-expression in the face of these problems. It is considered each athlete and trainer has unique ways in achieving their goals and succeeding. Starting from this, in our study we aim to examine "Thinking Styles of Trainers of Different Branches". 50 trainers, 20 females and 30 males, who coach in different branches in Elazığ city center, participated in our study. In the study, it was used a personal information form to gather participants' demographical information "their gender, being trainer of individual or team sports, year of coaching and educational level" and the REI (Rational Experiential Inventory) developed by Epstein et al. to determine their thinking styles. Consequently, it has been observed the rational and intuitive thinking styles of the trainers from different branches are sufficient in our study. In the light of the findings, it has been concluded that trainers of team sports have high levels of analytical-rational thinking, "participating-not participating in cognitive activities and enjoying-not enjoying cognitive activities", while trainers of individual sports have high levels of intuitive thinking "data processing and trusting-not trusting their feelings and first impressions in their daily life". Our study has importance since it is believed it provides enlightening information for trainers and athletes in their choice of appropriate methods and techniques while performing and coaching and also it forms literature for future studies.
The aim of our study was to examine the digital game addiction levels of the students of the Faculty of Sports Sciences in terms of some variables. The research group of our study consists of 397 randomly selected undergraduate students studying at Firat University Faculty of Sports Sciences and Inonu University Faculty of Sports Sciences in 2019. Frequency of variables (f) and percentage (%) distributions were calculated and two-way variance analysis (ANOVA) was used in multiple group variables and t-test was used for the significance of the difference between the two independent groups. Tukey test was used to determine which groups it was among in the analysis in which significant differences were detected. According to the findings of our study, undergraduate students studying in the departments of Firat University Faculty of Sports Sciences and Inonu University Faculty of Sports Sciences; It was determined that there was no statistically significant difference in the level of digital game dependency of the undergraduate students depending on the department, class, gender and age variables in which they studied. There was a statistically significant difference between digital game dependency levels based on the state of playing the digital game and the daily playing time variables. In line with the study findings, digital game addiction with an average of 2.29 on the digital game addiction scores of undergraduate students studying at
The main purpose of this research is to examine the level of organizational culture of academicians in terms of some variables. The research universe is formed by academicians at Fırat University in the 2018-2019 academic year. The sample of the study is 96 randomly selected academicians from Fırat University Faculty of Education, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences and Faculty of Sports Sciences in the 2018-2019 academic year. The Personal Information Form was used in order to determine the demographic information of the subjects participating in the study, in addition, "Organizational Culture Scale" was used that prepared by Ogbonna and Harris (2000) and translated into Turkish by Karadeniz (2010) and developed in the master's study. The data of the research were determined to be parametric. Therefore, t test and variance analysis (Anova) test was used. Tukey test and LSD test results were used to determine which groups the difference was among the results with significant differences. The error level in the study was taken as p<0.05. As a result of the research, academicians' organizational culture scale is based on the findings; it was found that there was no statistically significant difference in all subdimensions of the title and gender variable. There was a statistically significant difference in faculty, age group and academic study year variables.
Background: It is known that people's relations with nature can be greatly influential in all periods of their lives and especially in their future, which has increased their interest in concepts such as "environment", "nature", "natural life", "ecology", "ecosystem" as a result of the increase in natural awareness in humans. Aim: Based on these ideas, our research aims to measure the attitudes of cycling athletes in Elazig province towards ecorecreation.. Methods: A total of 178 athletes from 242 cycling athletes, including cycling sports clubs, associations, and individual athletes in Elazig province, participated voluntarily. It consists of 31 substances and 6 sub-dimensions developed by Ayyildiz and the 'Personal Information Form' prepared by the researchers as a data collection tool. Attitude Scale Towards Ecorecreation(ASTE), which was created in a 5-point Likert type format, was used. Spss 22.00 package program was used for the analysis of the data and the level of significance was determined as p<0.05. In the study, t-test analysis was applied to determine the significance of the differences between two groups and ANOVA was applied to determine the significance between more than two groups. Pearson correlation analysis was used to determine the direction and severity of the relationship between variables. Results: As a result of the research, there was a semantic difference in the individual and environmental sensitivities of licensed cycling athletes. A significant difference was observed in the Attitudes and Behavior towards Ecorecreation sub-dimensions of the athletes who are interested in another nature sport. Conclusion: The increase in positive behaviors towards nature has clearly become clear that it is directly related to being in nature. Accordingly, researchers believe and draw attention to the fact that in order to increase the positive effect on nature, it is necessary to be intertwined with nature and to adopt it. Keywords: Cycling, Outdoor Sport, Recreation, Ecorecreation
