Thinking styles are a matter of choice in individuals' use of their abilities. In other words, they are processes that determine individuals' attitude towards the problems they encounter and their way of self-expression in the face of these problems. It is considered each athlete and trainer has unique ways in achieving their goals and succeeding. Starting from this, in our study we aim to examine "Thinking Styles of Trainers of Different Branches". 50 trainers, 20 females and 30 males, who coach in different branches in Elazığ city center, participated in our study. In the study, it was used a personal information form to gather participants' demographical information "their gender, being trainer of individual or team sports, year of coaching and educational level" and the REI (Rational Experiential Inventory) developed by Epstein et al. to determine their thinking styles. Consequently, it has been observed the rational and intuitive thinking styles of the trainers from different branches are sufficient in our study. In the light of the findings, it has been concluded that trainers of team sports have high levels of analytical-rational thinking, "participating-not participating in cognitive activities and enjoying-not enjoying cognitive activities", while trainers of individual sports have high levels of intuitive thinking "data processing and trusting-not trusting their feelings and first impressions in their daily life". Our study has importance since it is believed it provides enlightening information for trainers and athletes in their choice of appropriate methods and techniques while performing and coaching and also it forms literature for future studies.
The aim of our study was to examine the digital game addiction levels of the students of the Faculty of Sports Sciences in terms of some variables. The research group of our study consists of 397 randomly selected undergraduate students studying at Firat University Faculty of Sports Sciences and Inonu University Faculty of Sports Sciences in 2019. Frequency of variables (f) and percentage (%) distributions were calculated and two-way variance analysis (ANOVA) was used in multiple group variables and t-test was used for the significance of the difference between the two independent groups. Tukey test was used to determine which groups it was among in the analysis in which significant differences were detected. According to the findings of our study, undergraduate students studying in the departments of Firat University Faculty of Sports Sciences and Inonu University Faculty of Sports Sciences; It was determined that there was no statistically significant difference in the level of digital game dependency of the undergraduate students depending on the department, class, gender and age variables in which they studied. There was a statistically significant difference between digital game dependency levels based on the state of playing the digital game and the daily playing time variables. It is the area that surrounds the broad masses of football, which includes the economic and social dimensions of the whole world. The concepts (fan, fanatic, and hooligan) that are included in the audience pattern are integrated with the football branch. The aim of this study, which was developed from the basic hypothesis that the opinions of university students on football advocacy / fanaticism levels will be different in terms of various variables, determines the support level of university students. In order to achieve this aim, a total of 438 students from Firat University were applied to the "Football Fanaticism Scale" consisting of 13 questions. University students are called "fanatic" in the total score 13-21, "team supporter" in the interval 22-30, and "footballer" in the range 31-52 points. 66.7% of college athletes are male and 33.3% are female. The majority (54.8%) quit active sports and 45.2% still continue to play active sports. The percentage of active participants in team sports is 61.4%. University athletes categorized themselves as "football lover" (48.2%), "fanatic" (27.6%) and "team supporter" (24.2%) respectively. The average score of university athletes from FFS is; It is in the category of "football lover" with an average score of 36.68 in the range of 31-52 points. There was a meaningful relationship between university sportsmen and men, individual sportsmen and age groups in terms of team support. University sportsmen's interest in football is generally considered to be "football lover" when it is examined in terms of various variables.
Empathy is one of the cases which is necessary for people to live together. Because the first rule of establishing good relations with the close environment, it requires to understand what they're feeling in their good or bad moments and it needs to act accordingly.The aim of this study is to investigate the empathy level of university students in terms of different variables and to understand if there are significant differences between them.The scope of this research, test group is 150 university students from Fırat University Faculty of Sports Sciences in different departments in 2015-2016 academic years.To determining empathic tendency level of Faculty of Sports Sciences students, a survey was applied which is consisting two parts. In the first part of the survey, there are five questions to the demographics of the Faculty of Sport Sciences students participating in the research. In the second part of the survey "Empathic Education Scale" "EES" by (Dökmen) 1988 was used. Obtained data were analyzed with SPSS 17.0 package program, significant level was accepted as 0.05.As a result; It was determined that the empathic tendencies of university students receiving sports education are high. However, the empathic tendencies of the research group also resulted in the absence of any effects of gender, age, department, parental education levels.
Increasing competition in domestic and foreign markets in the globalizing world and increasing quality expectations of customers have led enterprises to develop and implement a range of different quality considerations in order to remain competitive or to increase competitive power. One of the most important of these approaches is called benchmarking in the international literature, which is called "the best of the best" in businesses.The purpose of this study was to evaluate the Benchmarking approach of management and science concepts of sports enterprises operating in Elazıg.The universe of the research is the sports enterprises in Turkey and the sample is the sports enterprises in Elazıg province. The research was evaluated as collecting and analyzing benchmarking information.In the qualitative survey, sports and social facilities benchmarking services, financial data collection tool and sports facility participants questionnaire were applied. The questionnaire developed by Peter Taylor was translated into Turkish and validated and credible, and Cronbach alpha value α = 0, 816. A significant difference was observed when participants' participation in sports facilities in Elazıg was examined in terms of place of birth according to the AnovaTukey test.As a result; Although there was a significant difference between the expectations of the participants coming to sports facilities operating in Elazıg province (p <0, 05), there was no significant difference between their satisfaction (p> 0,05).Compared to the sports facilities in Elazıg, it can be considered that there are many deficiencies in all sports facilities and that no professional management is used.
The aim of the study is the effect of organizational justice perceptions of security duties working at Fırat University in Elazig on work motivations. While the universe of the study was composed of security officers working at Fırat University, the sample consisted of 182 security officers working at Fırat University, on the condition that it was limited to Elazig. Personal information form and "Organizational Justice Scale and Motivation Scale" were used to examine the organizational justice and work motivations of the security guards participating in the study, Frequency and percentage analyzes created by the statistical program were performed, t test in paired groups, analysis of variance (Anova) in multiple groups, and TUKEY test were used to find the differences between groups. As a result; It has been observed that the marital status, age and working years of the security guards working at Fırat University have no effect on organizational justice and work motivation. According to educational status; It can be said that the administrators of the institution act fairly towards the private security officers whose graduation status is high school in terms of distributive justice and fair dealing. . Considering the work motivation, it was seen that the instrumental motivation of the university graduate security officers was higher than the high school graduate employees. We can say that the organizational justice perceptions of private security officers have positive effects on their work motivation, albeit at a low level.
