The aim of our study was to examine the digital game addiction levels of the students of the Faculty of Sports Sciences in terms of some variables. The research group of our study consists of 397 randomly selected undergraduate students studying at Firat University Faculty of Sports Sciences and Inonu University Faculty of Sports Sciences in 2019. Frequency of variables (f) and percentage (%) distributions were calculated and two-way variance analysis (ANOVA) was used in multiple group variables and t-test was used for the significance of the difference between the two independent groups. Tukey test was used to determine which groups it was among in the analysis in which significant differences were detected. According to the findings of our study, undergraduate students studying in the departments of Firat University Faculty of Sports Sciences and Inonu University Faculty of Sports Sciences; It was determined that there was no statistically significant difference in the level of digital game dependency of the undergraduate students depending on the department, class, gender and age variables in which they studied. There was a statistically significant difference between digital game dependency levels based on the state of playing the digital game and the daily playing time variables. It is the area that surrounds the broad masses of football, which includes the economic and social dimensions of the whole world. The reason why soccer is so influential is the question of the amount of football that is interested in football. The concepts (fan, fanatic, and hooligan) that are included in the audience pattern are integrated with the football branch. The aim of this study, which was developed from the basic hypothesis that the opinions of university students on football advocacy / fanaticism levels will be different in terms of various variables, determines the support level of university students. In order to achieve this aim, a total of 438 students from Firat University were applied to the "Football Fanaticism Scale" consisting of 13 questions. University students are called "fanatic" in the total score 13-21, "team supporter" in the interval 22-30, and "footballer" in the range 31-52 points. 66.7% of college athletes are male and 33.3% are female. The majority (54.8%) quit active sports and 45.2% still continue to play active sports. The percentage of active participants in team sports is 61.4%. University athletes categorized themselves as "football lover" (48.2%), "fanatic" (27.6%) and "team supporter" (24.2%) respectively. The average score of university athletes from FFS is; It is in the category of "football lover" with an average score of 36.68 in the range of 31-52 points. There was a meaningful relationship between university sportsmen and men, individual sportsmen and age groups in terms of team support. University sportsmen's interest in football is generally considered to be "football lover" when it is examined in terms of various variables.
The benefits of joining sports activities are quite many. Doing sports helps in socializing the individual by increasing the number of friends around the individual, and it also helps establishing an organized and disciplined life. Physical activities may also assist people to overcome aggression easily and express their feelings in a better way. This research aims at examining the impact of sports on expressing Fırat University students' feelings based on different factors (age, gender, academic program). Screening model was applied to their search sample. Data collected from the students during the Fall Semester, 2015-2016. Their search sample included 175 students studying at Fırat University. The emotion expressing's callused in this research was developed by Kingand Emmons (1990) as data collection tool to measure individuals' tendencies in expressing their feelings. Kuzucu (2006) adopted this scale to Turkish society. A 15-item Likert-type questionnaire is designed to measure the tendencies in expressing emotions as positive, negative or warm feelings. Items score between 1 (Strongly Disagree) to 7 (Strongly Agree) where high scores in dictated high tendency in expressing feelings. In the scale, reverse-scoring is applied to item 6 and to item 14.The data obtained is analyzed using SPSS software. The independent samples t-test and one-way analysis of variance tests are used for data analyses purpose.As result of there search, Sports Sciences Faculty students were ableto Express their feelings in a beter way than other faculties' students.
The families of individuals with down-syndrome, autism, and mental problem who need for special requirements experience physical problems, tiredness, and antisocial life, which bring additional cost to family budget, from time to time due to difficulties of their children The aim of this study is to identify family burdens charged by kids with special education needs, and in terms of which variables it becomes different.While the study was designed by the part literature", obtained from scientific resources, personal information form, in which the demographic information of the families of kids with special needs take place, and the results of family burden assessment score, developed by Sarı and Basbakkal (2008) toward the aim of the study and consisted of 43 questions and 6 sub dimensions, were taken into consideration. In identifying family burdens, with moving from the assumption that mothers have dominant effect, the study was administered to the mothers Majority of the families participating in the study are housewife. Total mean score obtained from family burden scale were 127 in the range of 45 to 215 points. In the study carried out, it was revealed that economic burden resulted from not employed housewives; and among the factors affecting perceived inabilities of mothers with disabled child, the concerns mothers experience toward the future of their children were very difficult case for the mothers.However, families experience a concern in the form of "After my death, who will look after my child? .In the study carried out, it revealed that this case led the burdens of perceived inability to increase; and that the families tried to cope with this case, which causes concern for their kids with special needs.In the world, the sincere of the mothers facing with this kind of difficulties in the face of these cases is a great chance for kids with special needs.
The purpose of this study was to determine the effective factors of people choosing outdoor recreation areas, which is belonging to local government in Elazıg Province Center, for feel comfortable in social, cultural and physiological aspects where they can evaluate their free time and benefit from different purposes according to different variables.The sample group of the study consisted of 232 persons, 106 male and 126 female, selected randomly using recreational areas of local governance in Elazıg province center. The data were obtained by participation preference factors for use of recreation area survey which consist 24 questions and 5 sub-dimensions that developed by Gümüs H. and Alay Özgül S. (2017) with face to face survey application method.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the attitudes of academicians towards sports at Firat University, 191 academicians participated in the investigation as part of our study. "Attitude Scale towards Sports" was used to determine the attitudes of the academicians participating in the study towards sports. The scale is designed in likert type 5 grading, consisting of 22 substances and "Psychosocial, Physical and Mental Development" consisting of 3 sub-dimensions. In line with the study findings, academicians at Firat University have a general score of 1 to 5 scale scoring is x = 3.93, "Mental Development" sub-dimension size is x = 3.53, "Psycho-social Development" subdimension size is x = 3.98, and "Physical Development" sub-dimension size with an average of x = 4.08 was observed to have high attitude levels towards sports. There was a statistically significant difference in terms of attitude levels towards sports and age, participation in sports, title and working year variables for Academicians at Firat University. According to the gender variable, it was not found that the attitudes of academicians towards sports were not statistically significant. Academicians' attitudes towards sports are very important. Students often see their instructors as their cult figure. Academicians' attitudes towards sports are thought to make them feel good about themselves in terms of health and will be a positive example for students who consider themselves cult figures.
Football and its propensity have been spread globally, leading to the division/unification of the masses. The prevalence of football in the world has been a source of many researches.The aim of the study is to determine the football team support levels of the university students and the football teams supported. The research “football team supported by university students and self-defined levels of follow-up (“fanatical”, “team supporter” and “football lover”) are different, based on the basic hypothesis. The opinion poll developed by the researchers for the purpose of the research consisted of five questions. The data transferred to the computer environment, as a result of the percent, frequency and Chi-Square analyses, provided literature support in the light of scientific data and resulted in general conclusions for the purposes of the research.The survey, which was developed by the researcher to test the hypothesis of the research, consisted of five questions aimed at determining the gender, age, class, supported football team and support level. They were asked to determine the level of support they considered appropriate after giving information about team support types such as “football lover”, “team supporter” and “fanatic”. Only their own information is included in the questions. These questions are for the opinions of university students.92) it is high. The data collection tool used in the study is a personal (opinion) data survey, not scale.893 university students attended the study in different departments, 68% of them were male. 40.4% of the participants support Galatasaray, 35.5% support Fenerbahce and 24.1% support Besiktas teams. The university students who define themselves as fanatic (26.4%) are less than those who define football fans (37.5%) and team supporters (36.1%).In a gender-based analysis, it was observed that the ratio of women who define themselves as fanatic was 8.4% in males and 35% in females. Different levels of follow-up between women and men are significant when compared to Chi-square analysis.Among the university students, it was observed that the fans of Galatasaray were more than the others. 28.8% of the Galatasaray, 27.4% of the Besiktas Fenerbahceliler 23% of them identified as fanatic.
