Durch Ausathern lieBen sich hieraus 0.OlOg Trirnerhylathergallussaure vom Schmp. I67 --168" gewinnen. Mischschmelzpunkt ohne Depression. Die Ausbeute an Trimethylathergallussaure ist sehr gering, da diese Verbindung in erheblichem MaDe von Permanganat angegriffen und dabei oxydativ zerstsrt wird. Uber die Alkaloide aus Calebassen-Curare X11* C-Mavacurin wird mit Platin und Sauerstoff in wal3riger Ldsung geschuttelt. Aus dern Reaktionsgernisch kann neben einem p-Carboliniurnderivat eine Indolinverbindung isoliert werden, die mit C-Alkaloid-Y identisch ist. Durch Erwarmen in saurer Lasung laBt sich C-Alkaloid-Y in C-Fluorocurin urnlagern. Fur das von TH. WIELAND und H. MERZ im Calebassen-Curare aufgefundene Alkaloid C-Mavacurin') nehmen H. BICKEL, H. SCHMID und P. KARRER die Formel I an, wobei die Stellung der OH-Gruppe noch ungewi13 istz). Das ebenfalls aus Calebassen isolierte, intensiv gelbgrun Auoreszierende C-Ffuorocurin3), lie13 sich, da es ein Pseudoindoxyl-Derivat darstellt, nach einer von B. In einer vorlaufigen Mitteilung2) haben wir uber den Konstitutionsbeweis fur das Calebassencurare-Alkaloid C-Curarin-III berichtet, welches wir in ubersichtlicher Weise aus einem Strychninderivat synthetisieren konnten. Das C20‐Alkaloid C‐Curarin‐III (C‐Fluorocurarin) läßt sich am Stickstoff‐Atom a acetylieren und methylieren. Das Acetylderivat ist äußerst leicht verseifbar. Es reagiert schon bei Raumtemperatur mit Methanol unter Änderung des Absorptionsspektrums zu einem Produkt, das mit Mineralsäuren spielend leicht in C‐Curarin‐III zurückverwandelt wird (Acetal?). Das Alkaloid und sein Methylderivat lassen sich mit NaBH4 zu Verbindungen mit Indolinspektren hydrieren. Hierbei ensteht unter Wasserstoffanlagerung an das chromophore System aus einer Carbonylgruppe ein alkoholisches Hydroxyl. Diese Beobachtungen sprechen für ein α,β‐ungesättigtes Carbonylsystem, das mit dem β‐C‐Atom an das Stickstoffatom a gebunden ist. Tatsächlich hat das UV‐Spektrum von β‐Anilino‐acrolein mit dem von C‐Curarin‐III gemeinsame Züge.
Aus linksdrehendemza) 4a-Methyl-l.2.3.4-tetrahydro-4aH-carbazol1) (3) wird sowohl der optisch aktive Chrornophor 4 des C-Curarins-111 (2) als auch der optisch aktive Chromophor 7 des C-Curarins-I (6) dargestellt. Die ORD-Kurven von 4 und 7 stimmen mit denen beider Alkaloide gut uberein. Aus den bekannten absoluten Konfigurationen der Alkaloide 2 und 6 folgt durch diese Korrelationen fur die linksdrehende Verbindung 3 S-Chiralitat.
