Through this study, the objectives to be achieved are to (1) describe the extent to which: (a) the interest in learning elementary school mathematics through the use of Fraction Block Media, (b) student responses, and (c) implementation using fraction block media (2) see the effectiveness of the use of Block Fraction media, and (3) publication of scientific articles dijurnal national accreditation or international journals. The research design that will be used is a quasi experimental research design with a pretest-posttest control group design. The study population was Class III students at SD Kompeks Lariang Bangi consisting of 3 schools, namely Lariang Bangi 1 Elementary School, Lariang Bangi 2 Elementary School, and Lariang Bangi 3 Elementary School with two classes of samples. The research instruments consisted of (1) Questionnaire Interest in Elementary Students, 2) Student Response Questionnaire, (3) Sheet Observation on the Implementation of Fraction Block Media Usage, and (4) Documentation. Analysis Techniques Data to be used are Analysis of Descriptive and Inferential Data. The Research Results Show That (1) The learning process using Fraction Block media in the experimental class takes place effectively because the percentage categories for each meeting increase. (2) The value of post non test in the experimental class shows that more than 50% of students are in the category of interest. While in the control class more than 50% of students are in the less interested category, (3) The average student response is at an average of 78 with a standard deviation of 5.28 from the ideal score of 100, and (4) There is a positive influence on block media usage Fractions in the learning process.
This research is a classroom action research conducted in two cycles with each cycle consisting of 2 meetings. Each cycle passes through several stages in each cycle, is planning, execution, observation and reflection. The purpose of this study is to determine the application of learning type Numbered Heads Together (NHT) to improve student learning outcomes of grade IV SD Inpres BTN IKIP II. The subjects of this study are the students of grade IV SD, amounting to 26 people. Data collection techniques used are the test results of student learning conducted at the end of the cycle, the observation sheet and reflection. The collected data were analyzed using quantitative and qualitative analysis. The result of quantitative analysis shows that there is an increase of learning outcomes seen from the average score of students' PKn learning outcomes are in the low category in cycle I while in cycle II is in very high category. Quantitatively there is an increase in the activity and motivation of students to learn PKn. In this approach the students themselves construct or discover themselves from the concept of the given material. The teacher in this study acts as a facilitator in providing guidance and scatfolding. So, learning turns into student centered learning. Based on the results of this study can be concluded that the learning of PKn through the application of learning type NHT can improve the results of learning PKn students of class IV SD.
Tujuan kegiatan yang diinginkan adalah mengenalkan cara-cara penggunaan dan pembuatan alat peraga puzzle sedini mungkin bagi mahasiswa PGSD FIP UNM karena kebanyakan guru sekolah dasar kesulitan dalam mengajarkan matematika, khususnya untuk materi geometri. Hal ini dikarenakan kurangnya ketersediaan media terkhusus media puzzle serta tidak dilengkapi cara penggunaannya. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian adalah penyampaian materi secara ceramah dan demonstrasi, praktik pembuatan alat peraga oleh para peserta, dan praktik simulasi penggunaan alat peraga oleh kelompok-kelompok peserta. Produk yang dihasilkan selama pengabdian adalah media puzzle yang terbentuk dari 7 kepingan bangun datar geometri diantaranya bangun datar geometri yang dipotong menjadi bentuk-bentuk tertentu seperti, Dua segitiga siku-siku sama kaki (besar), Dua segitiga siku-siku sama kaki (kecil), Satu segitiga siku-siku sama kaki (sedang), Satu bujursangkar (kecil), dan Satu jajaran genjang yang dapat dimanipulatif keberbagai bentuk
Bimbingan teknis pembelajaran jarak jauh berbasis lingkungan telah dilaksanakan di Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Negeri Makassar, yaitu pembuatan media pembelajaran dan penyusunan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) berbasis lingkungan, dengan melibatkan siswa secara langsung dengan berbagai pengenalan terhadap lingkungan. Dimana media pembelajaran dan LKPD berbasis lingkungan sangat membantu memberikan pemahaman siswa selama dalam proses pembelajaran, menjadikan siswa belajar untuk lebih aktif, inovatif, kreatif, efektif, dan menyenangkan. Pada prosesnya, media pembelajaran tersebut mengutamakan kreativitas siswa, juga berfungsi membantu siswa dalam memahami konsep yang rumit, dalam kegiatan bimbingan teknis pembelajaran jarak jauh berbasis lingkungan meliputi dua tahapan. Tahap pertama mempersiapkan bahan dan alat, tahap kedua membuat alat media pembelajaran berbasis lingkungan dan penyusunan LKPD, kemudian dilanjutkan presentasi dan demonstrasi baik secara mandiri maupun berkelompok. Selama proses pelatihan, mahasiswa akan dibantu mulai dari merancang pembuatan media pembelajaran dan penyusunan LKPD berbasis lingkungan sampai cara penggunaanya. Evaluasi dari kegiatan pengabdian yang dilakukan nantinya adalah simulasi media pembelajaran dan penyusunan LKPD serta penggunaannya. Kegiatan bimbingan teknis pembelajaran jarak jauh berbasis lingkungan di masa pandemi ini dilaksanakan pada PGSD FIP UNM yang telah diikuti sebanyak 32 peserta pelatihan memahami tentang pembuatan media dan prinsip serta langkah-langkah teknis pembuatan penyusunan LKPD berbasis lingkungan. Environmental-based distance learning technical guidance has been implemented at PGSD FIP UNM, which is the creation of learning media and the preparation of worksheets where learning media and environmentally based worksheet preparation by involving students directly with various introductions to the environment. Learning media and worksheets are very helpful to provide students' understanding during the learning process, where students will invite to be more active, innovative, creative, effective, and fun. In the process, the learning media prioritizes student creativity and also serves to help students in understanding complex concepts in environmentally based distance learning technical guidance activities covering two stages. The first stage prepares materials and tools, the second stage makes environmental-based learning media tools and the preparation of worksheets, then continues presentation and demonstration both independently and in groups. During the training process, students will be helped from designing the creation of learning media and preparing an environmentally based worksheet to how it is used. Evaluation of devotional activities carried out later is a simulation of learning media and worksheets' preparation and use. Environmental-based distance learning technical guidance activities in this pandemic period was carried out at PGSD FIP UNM, which 32 trainees have attended to understand media creation and principles and technical steps to prepare an environmentally based worksheet.
