The debate regarding the possibility of the Law on the Ratification of International Treaty that can be reviewed always raises pros and cons. With normative research methodology, this research examines the urgency of a constitutional preview of the Law on the Ratification of International Treaty by the Constitutional Court in Indonesia. The importance of the law on the results of international treaty ratification to be tested is to ensure that its substance does not contradict the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia. The involvement of the Constitutional Court in conducting a constitutional preview before the parliament will provides the Court's opinion regarding the constitutionality of international agreements can be taken into consideration for the parliament to provide approval or not against international treaties that will be ratified by law.
The arrangement concept and development of the Metropolitan Area poses as one of the most interesting issues relating to local government law. Although the Regional Government Law provides flexibility for local governments to regulate and manage their regional affairs, in the Metropolitan Areas however, the Central Government takes part in structuring the regulations and institutions. This study examines two issues, namely the regulation of Metropolitan Areas in Indonesia and the relation of authority between the Central Government and Regional Governments in the arrangement of the Jakarta-Bogor-Depok-Tangerang-Bekasi-Puncak-Cianjur Metropolitan Area. This study uses a normative juridical method. The results of the study conclude that first, regulations regarding Metropolitan Areas are spread across various instruments, namely Legislations, Government Regulations, Provincial Regulations, and Regency/City Regional Regulations. Second, in structuring the Jabodetabek Metropolitan Area, the Central Government still dominates, while the Regional Government only needs to carry out what is the will of the Central Government. This dominance can be seen in the aspects of regulatory formation and management of Metropolitan Areas.

Usul pembubaran partai politik hanya diberikan kepada Pemerintah. Hal ini jelas menutup pihak lain seperti perseorangan atau kelompok masyarakat untuk dapat mengusulkan pembubaran partai politik. Penelitian ini mengkaji permasalahan: pertama, alasan perseorangan atau kelompok masyarakat perlu diberikan legal standing dalam usul pembubaran partai politik. Kedua, relevansi pemberian legal standing bagi perseorangan atau kelompok masyarakat dalam usul pembubaran partai politik. Ketiga, upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk memberikan legal standing bagi perseorangan atau kelompok masyarakat dalam usul pembubaran partai politik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode yuridis normatif dengan pendekatan perundang-undangan. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan: pertama, urgensi pemberian legal standing bagi perseorangan atau kelompok masyarakat dalam usul pembubaran partai politik dalam rangka menerjemahkan pelaksanaan kedaulatan rakyat dan prinsip negara hukum. Kedua, dengan diberikannya legal standing kepada perseorangan atau kelompok masyarakat maka pengawasan warganegara terhadap partai politik akan semakin efektif. Ketiga, upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk memberikan legal standing bagi perseorangan atau kelompok masyarakat dalam usul pembubaran partai politik dengan merevisi UU Mahkamah Konstitusi.Kata kunci: Perseorangan atau kelompok masyarakat, legal standing, pembubaran, partai politik
