Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan keterlibatan orangtua dalam penerapan nilai-nilai luhur pendidikan karakter Ki Hadjar Dewantara di PAUD. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian kualitatif studi kasus. Alat pengumpul data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara mendalam, observasi dan studi dokumen. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah tematik analisis. Derajat keterpercayaan dalam penelitian ini dicapai dengan menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi metode. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bentuk keterlibatan orang tua antara lain paguyuban orang tua, komunikasi terbuka antara orang tua dan guru, kunjungan ke rumah, penjadwalan orang tua mengajar di kelas serta pendampingan anak di rumah. Diperoleh pula temuan mengenai hambatan yang dialami dalam pelibatan orang tua dalam penerapan pendidikan karakter Ki Hadjar Dewantara. Penelitian ini memberikan beberapa rekomendasi untuk penelitian selanjutnya di masa mendatang
The three main purposes of the study were: (1) to describe the implementation of the school-based management, (2) to know the effect of the implementation of the school-based management on the teachers' work motivation, and (3) to know the effect of the school-based management on the school quality. The study was conducted in East Java, and the samples of the study were 87, which were taken by using area cluster random sampling technique. The data was collected by using questionnaire and then was analyzed by using descriptive statistic, regression, and qualitative data analysis. Based on the analysis results, it could be concluded that the implementation of school-based management in East Java was mostly categorized as good enough. Some components which were categorized as good were the formulation of the school visions, the development of the school programs, the school transparency, the empowerment of the school resources, and the society involvement. Some components which were still categorized as poor were the school independence and the school renewal. There was significant effect of the implementation of the school-based management on the teachers' work motivation and the school quality.

The main objective of research to describe about (1) a principal strategy in building relationships with the community school, (2) the preparation of the program of school relationships with the community, (3) obstacles faced in developing relationships the public, and (4) the principal efforts in developing community participation. This research used the qualitative approach with multisite study. Place the study in SDN Tunjungsekar 5 and Ketawanggede SDN. Data collection techniques with in-depth interviews, observation and documentation and participation. Meanwhile, to analyze the data using three stages of reduction, display, and conclusion. The results of this research are (1) the principal strategy in building relationships with community schools include communication with the community, building partners of cooperation and openness of information, (2) preparation program relationship with community schools involves the school principal, teachers, and employees/ TU which is then approved by the school Committee, (3) obstacles faced in developing school public relations namely the community and parents are passive, the flurry of each party, behind the economy and less familiar, and (4) the principal efforts in developing public participation that is, communication with the school Committee, community, parents and class associations.

The results of this research (1) the role of headmaster as a leadership of change, the first role as visionary, responsible, locomotive, motivator, and partner work, (2) the strategy used by the principal is by improving the management of students and the management of teaching and education personnel, fostering a school culture, supervising learning, and preparing outputs thoroughly, (3) innovations made by the principal of gopek management and athlete classes, (4) the factors that support the change come from the internal school such as the principal's leadership, the support of the foundation and the means of infrastructure, from the external needs of the community for education and competition between schools, and (5) the inhibiting factors of change come from the difficult teacher's mindset, teacher competence, and poor school image in society.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) peran kepala sekolah sebagai pemimpin perubahan, (2) strategi kepala sekolah sebagai pemimpin perubahan, (3) inovasi kepala sekolah sebagai pemimpin perubahan, (4) faktor pendukung perubahan, dan (5) faktor penghambat perubahan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan rancangan penelitian studi kasus. Lokasi penelitian ini di SMA Nasional Malang. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara secara mendalam, observasi lapangan serta dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini (1) peran kepala sekolah sebagai pemimpin perubahan yaitu pertama berperan sebagai pemimpin yang visioner, penanggung jawab, lokomotif, motivator, dan patner kerja, (2) strategi yang digunakan kepala sekolah yaitu dengan memperbaiki manajemen peserta didik dan manajemen tenaga pendidik dan kependidikan, menumbuhkan budaya sekolah, melakukan supervisi pembelajaran, dan mempersiapkan output secara matang, (3) inovasi yang dibuat oleh kepala sekolah yaitu program manajemen gopek dan kelas atlet, (4) faktor pendukung perubahan berasal dari internal sekolah seperti kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, dukungan yayasan dan sarana prasarana, dari eksternal yaitu kebutuhan masyarakat akan pendidikan dan persaingan antar sekolah, (5) faktor penghambat perubahan berasal dari mindset guru sulit diubah, kompetensi guru, dan image sekolah kurang baik di masyarakat. The purpose of this study is to know the planning of moral development, organizing of moral development, actuating of moral development, controlling of moral development, and several factors that influence the implementation of moral development which is held in SD Negeri Merjosari 4 Malang and SD Negeri Karangbesuki 4 Malang. This research uses qualitative approach and uses multisite study type. The data was collected by using interview, observation, and documentation. The result of this study suggested that SD Negeri Merjosari 4 Malang and SD Negeri Karangbesuki 4 Malang doing the management process in moral development of character education. SD Negeri Merjosari 4 Malang and SD Negeri Karangbesuki 4 Malang do their management process by doing the planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling. There are several factors that influence its implementation, including students, parents, the surrounding environment, and facilities.
