-The multicultural reality of the Indonesian nation is a gift from God Almighty. This study aims to provide a rationalization, the importance of optimizing the role of civic education as a multicultural education. This research uses a qualitative approach with literary study methods, data analysis processes in the form of: data reduction, data display, verification and drawing conclusions. The results of the research obtained are: 1) Citizenship education is able to play a role as multicultural education, because the objectives and scientific structure are very supportive, especially to provide comprehensive understanding to students, so that they voluntarily maintain the nation's multiculturalism, 2) Citizenship education is able to shape the morality of students, so that consciously and fully committed to taking care of the nation's culturality, because it is a form of faith and devotion to God Almighty, as well as the real implementation of the concept of good and smart citizens. Abstrak - Realita kemultikulturalan bangsa Indonesia, merupakan anugerah dari Tuhan Yang Maha Esa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan rasionalisasi, pentingnya mengoptimalkan peran pendidikan pendidikan kewarganegaraan sebagai pendidikan multikultural. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi litertur, proses analisis data berupa: reduksi data, display data, verifikasi serta penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh yaitu: 1) Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan mampu berperan sebagai pendidikan multikultural, karena tujuan dan struktur keilmuannya sangat mendukung, khususnya untuk memberikan pemahaman komprehensif kepada peserta didik, agar secara sukarela menjaga kemultikulturalan bangsa, 2) Pendidikan kewarganegaraan mampu membentuk moralitas peserta didik, agar secara sadar dan penuh komitmen untuk merawat kemultikulturalan bangsa, karena sebagai bentuk keimanan dan ketakwaannya terhadap Tuhan Yang Maha Kuasa, serta implementasi nyata dari konsep warga negara yang baik dan cerdas..
Citizenship Education is a form of learning democracy both theoretically and practically because the scientific structure is very supportive in forming democratic and Pancasila students. This study uses a qualitative approach with the method of literature study because it is in the form of an analysis of the concepts and dynamics of Citizenship Education as learning democracy in college students. There are also the results of research, are as follows: 1) The implementation of learning democracy, through Citizenship Education is highly dependent on the curriculum of each college, 2)Contextual learning is very suitable in implementing democational learning through Citizenship Education because it has almost the same characteristics in the object of study learning, 3) As a democracy learning Citizenship Education has a strategic position in the national constitution and curriculum, although tertiary institutions have the authority in preparing their curriculum, the position of Education Citizenship as a compulsory subject is irreplaceable, 4) The importance of creating a democratic atmosphere so that learning objectives can be achieved effectively, because it is not only through an explanation of democratic material, conceptually and theoretically, but in practice, so the integrity of lecturers and students is needed.
This study aimed to analyze the role of the irung-irung tradition in strengthening civic engagement of the younger generation of Cihideung Village. This study used a qualitative approach with the case study method. Data collection techniques used interviews, observations, and literature studies. The results showed that the traditional irung-irung procedure: praying together, marching to water resources, custom ceremonial process, sacrificing animals, eating together, and closing prayers, the younger generation’s involvement in the irung-irung tradition was more focused on the aspect of democracy through the positive role it plays, not yet at the traditional level, the strategy for strengthening the engagement of the younger generation was through the empowerment of youth and utilizing information and communication technologies.
This study aimed to describe the realization of citizenship education in the learning practice of the Kampus Merdeka program and to analyze the involvement of various parties in the effort to realize citizenship education in the Merdeka Campus program. This study applied a qualitative approach with a literature study method carried out through several activities, namely collecting library data, reading and taking notes, and processing information according to the formulation of the problem discussed. The realization of citizenship education in the learning practice of the Kampus Merdeka program was executed through several activities that directly interact with the community, including research, entrepreneurship, humanitarian projects, independent projects, and thematic Real Work Lectures (KKN) or village building. Efforts to realize citizenship education in the Kampus Merdeka program required several parties, namely the government, academia, the community or society, the private sector, and the media.
The independent campus policy is an actual policy in the field of higher education, because it requires the modernization and democratization of higher education, so that it is adaptive to the realities of the progress of the times, as well as the aspects of learning which have a real impact on students. This study aims to analyze the challenges of independent campus policies in fulfilling student rights, as well as provide rationalization of the importance of Citizenship Education learning orientation on independent campuses which leads to strengthening student citizenship competencies, in order to become civilized citizens. This research was conducted through a qualitative approach with methods literature study, the data analysis process in this study includes: data reduction, data display, verification and conclusion. The results obtained are 1) the challenges faced by the independent campus policy, in fulfilling the rights of students, generally due to the unequal quality of education, the reality of national competitiveness and national innovation, as well as the quality of services and legal protection for students, 2) strengthening competence Student citizenship needs to become a general orientation of Citizenship Education on an independent campus policy, because it is comprehensive, in order to create civilized students and can be relied on by the state. Efforts to overcome challenges that have the potential to hinder the optimal running of the independent campus policy, can be through the commitment and consistency of various parties, especially the government and university leaders, to advance national education and guarantee fair legal protection and non-discriminatory educational assistance
Memaknai keadilan di Indonesia merupakan perkara yang mustahil apabila tidak berdasar pada kekuatan Tuhan yang Maha Esa. Mengapa keadilan tidak kunjung terwujud, karena penafsiran keadilan selalu digunakan melalui pendekatan formalistik dan positivis. Keadilan berdasarkan Ketuhanan yang Maha Esa merupakan kajian filosofik sebagai kritik sosial sekaligus refleksi dalam penegakan hukum di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan metode penelitian studi literatur. Meninjau keadilan yang berdasar Ketuhanan yang Maha Esa dari perspektif Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan adalah bagaimana keadilan berdasarkan Ketuhanan yang Maha Esa dielaborasikan dengan keilmuan Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan, guna mendapatkan keadilan yang mampu merepresentasikan nilai-nilai Ketuhanan dalam masyarakat multikultural. Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan memiliki posisi yang sangat strategis dalam kurikulum nasional. Posisi tersebut harus dimanfaatkan sebaik mungkin, dalam membentuk mental peserta didik yang memiliki nilai keadilan yang berdasar pada Ketuhanan yang Maha Esa.
ABSTRAKRiset ini berupaya untuk menganalisis juga merefleksikan atas urgensi membangun smart and good young citizens melalui program organisasi kepemudaan berbasis civic literacy, karena memuat upaya penguatan civic competence secara inklusif dan masif, pemberdayaan organisasi kepemudaan, dan peningkatan literasi pemuda berbasis Pancasila dan Undang-Undang Dasar NRI 1945. Riset ini dirampungkan berbasis pendekatan kualitatif, dengan metode studi literatur, teknik analisis data, yaitu, reduksi, display, juga verifikasi. Hasil penelitian, yaitu, pertama, konstruksi tentang visi membangun smart and good young citizens melalui program organisasi kepemudaan berbasis civic literacy, tidak hanya berupaya membentuk pemuda, yang cerdas, dan terampil, karena juga mengakomodir penguatan karakter pemuda, yang terintegrasi dengan ciri khas atau kepribadiannya, yang mengarah pada performance character maupun moral character, maka menjadi model baru dalam pembangunan smart and good young citizens, berbasis komunitas, yang programnya memuat civic literacy, kedua, realisasi model tersebut adalah, pertama, perampungan konstruksi pemikiran mengenai urgensi mengintegrasikan upaya membentuk warga negara muda yang cerdas dan baik, pemberdayaan organisasi kepemudaan yang relevan dan berkelanjutan, lalu upaya penguatan civic literacy, kedua, merampungkan orientasi atau tujuan umum, ketiga, menerapkan secara nyata melalui program organisasi kepemudaan, yang inklusif, akomodatif, dan inovatif, keempat, penerapan prinsip kolaboratif (pentahelix) dan berkelanjutan, kelima, evaluasi dan tindak lanjut, keenam, sosialisasi, Kesimpulan riset, yaitu, visi membangun smart and good young citizens melalui program organisasi kepemudaan berbasis civic literacy, adalah upaya nyata mewujudkan peradaban maju bangsa Indonesia. ABSTRACTThis research seeks to analyze and reflect on the urgency of building smart and good young citizens through civic literacy-based youth organization programs, because it includes efforts to strengthen civic competence in an inclusive and massive manner, empowering youth organizations, and increasing youth literacy based on Pancasila and the NRI Constitution. 1945. This research was completed based on a qualitative approach, with the method of literature study, data analysis techniques, namely, reduction, display, as well as verification. The results of the research, namely, first, the construction of the vision of building smart and good young citizens through civic literacy-based youth organization programs, does not only seek to form smart, and skilled youth, because it also accommodates the strengthening of youth character, which is integrated with their characteristics or personality. , which leads to performance character and moral character, then becomes a new model in the development of smart and good young citizens, community based, whose program includes civic literacy, second, the realization of the model is, first, the completion of the construction of thoughts regarding the urgency of integrating efforts to form citizens smart and good young people, empowering relevant and sustainable youth organizations, then efforts to strengthen civic literacy, second, completing orientation or general goals, third, implementing concretely through youth organization programs, which are inclusive, accommodative, and innovative, fourth, applying the principles collaborative (pentahelix) and sustainable, fifth, evaluation, sixth, socialization. The conclusion of the research, namely, the vision of building smart and good young citizens through civic literacy-based youth organization programs, is a real effort to realize the advanced civilization of the Indonesian nation.
