Curso de enfermagem da Universidade Estadual do Ceará: a história e o projeto político-pedagógico atual

Abstract

This paper describes important moments along the route of the Nursing Program at State University of Ceará and their influences on their current process of professional education. It outlines their program, their professors and students, as well as their political-pedagogical project. Finally, it highlights the importance of this instrument to warrant professional qualification.

Por que no papel é mais fácil? O que fazemos e o que falamos que fazemos no Projeto Político-Pedagógico de um Curso de Graduação – Reflexões sobre o Curso de Fonoaudiologia da FOB-USP

“…Então falta integração em ter os conhecimentos todos e mais capacidade de tomada de decisão e escolha na hora de definir o procedimento de avaliação e intervenção. (E10) O perfil generalista é amplamente perseguido nos projetos político-pedagógicos de grande parte das profissões de Saúde, como apontado em inú-meros trabalhos científicos (BECK et al, 2003;FREITAS;GUEDES;SILVA, 2003;OLIVEIRA et al, 2003;SANTOS, 2006;SIGNORELLI et al, 2010;PÜSCHEL, 2011), visto que se entende que generalistas são profissionais que devem incorporar à sua bagagem clínica o saber epidemiológico, de educação em saúde, de trabalho em grupo, de gestão e conhecimentos que os ajudem na articulação de projetos de intervenção individual e coletiva em suas áreas de saberes. Formação do enfermeiro para o cuidado: reflexões da prática profissional

“…A perspectiva das diretrizes curriculares para a formação de enfermeiros é: "... formar enfermeiros com compreensão científica, técnica, política e ética, capazes de intervir no processo saúde-doença do ser humano, numa perspectiva crítico-transformadora voltada para o cuidar, o educar, gerenciar e pesquisar, caracterizando interesses técnicos, práticos e emancipatórios" (4) . É preciso mencionar que as escolas de enfermagem, apesar das novas diretrizes curriculares, não produziram mudanças significativas no ensino de enfermagem no país, uma vez que ainda poucos são os profissionais formados nesta proposta, talvez por isso são poucas as transformações ocorridas na prática profissional que têm contribuído para um cuidado pautado no atendimento integral ao ser humano.…”
