A consulta de enfermagem no contexto da atenção básica de saúde, Juiz de Fora, Minas Gerais

Abstract

RESUMO:Estudo exploratório, descritivo, de abordagem qualitativa, com o objetivo de conhecer a percepção do enfermeiro sobre a realização da consulta de enfermagem na prática dos serviços de atenção básica. Dezesseis enfermeiros atuantes em Unidades Básicas de Saúde urbanas de Juiz de Fora -MG, foram entrevistados nos meses de outubro e novembro de 2006. Os dados foram organizados em temas e analisados à luz da literatura temática. Os resultados mostraram que a consulta de enfermagem é realizada pelos enfermeiros de forma limitada, sendo apontadas dificuldades como excesso de atividades burocráticas, deficiências na estrutura física da unidade de saúde e no entrosamento da equipe. Concluise que o enfermeiro considera importante a articulação entre o conhecimento teórico e a prática para a aquisição de competência na realização da consulta de enfermagem e que se faz importante buscar o atendimento integral, com vistas à maior resolutividade dos problemas de saúde dos usuários.ABSTRACT: This is an exploratory, descriptive, and qualitative approach study, seeking to discuss the nursing perceptions about performing the nursing appointment in primary health care practice. Sixteen nurses working in urban Basic Unit Health (Unidades Básicas de Saúde) in Juiz de Fora, MG, Brazil, participated in interviews during October and November of 2006. The data was organized into topics and analyzed according to thematic literature. The results showed that the nursing appointment has been performed by nurses in a limited fashion, and pointed out difficulties such as excessive bureaucratic activities, weaknesses in the physical infrastructure of the health clinic and in its teamwork. It is concluded that the nurse considers the link between theoretical and practical knowledge important for the acquisition of competence in carrying out nursing appointments as well as seeking full care, aiming for better resolution to the users' health problems. RESUMEN:Estudio de carácter exploratorio, descriptivo, con abordaje cualitativo, cuyo objetivo es el de conocer la percepción del enfermero sobre la realización de la consulta de enfermería en la práctica de los servicios de atención básica. Para el estudio fueron entrevistados dieciséis enfermeros que trabajan en las Unidades Básicas de Salud urbanas de la ciudad de Juiz de Fora, Minas Gerais, en los meses de octubre y noviembre de 2006. Los resultados obtenidos mostraron que la consulta de enfermería es realizada por los enfermeros de forma limitada, siendo señaladas dificultades tales como, el exceso de actividades burocráticas, deficiencias en la estructura física de la unidad de salud y en la interacción del equipo.
