This Investigation is devoted to the search for new effective anticancer drugs, which is one of the priority areas of medicine. Effect of extracts of maize anthocyanin and Gratiola officinalis drug was studied by using morphological and biochemical methods in experiments in vivo on 30 laboratory rats with transplanted liver cancer PC-1. It was found that an extract of Gratiola officinalis has selective cytotoxic and cytostatic effects on tumor cells. Abstract:The way of vegetable raw materials extraction which allows to receive nontoxical composition of biological active agents from poisonous plants such as Gratiola officinalis L. was described. The alkaloids exit changes with the increase of ethyl alcohol percentage (from 15% to 96%). The extract was obtained using 96% ethanol and did not give positive high quality reaction to the content of alkaloids. The chemical composition with new nontoxical biological active composition of Gratiola officinalis L. extract was investigated. The extract contains a previously unknown plant -bioflavonoid quercetin. The average value of quercetin in this extract using the calibration curve of the standard sample quercetin (98%) Sigma is 0.66%. In the dry rest of extractive substances (Gratiola officinalis L.) the quantity of quercetin was 350 mkg (obtained from 10 g of a dry grass) as was established by the method of a liquid chromatography.

The nucleotide sequences of the mtDNA cytochrome oxidase I (COI) gene fragment 535 bp long (pos. 100 to 634) in 14 midge species (Diptera, Chironomidae): Dicrotendipes nervosus, Endochironomus albipennis, E. tendens, Glyptotendipes barbipes, G. glaucus, G. gripekoveni, G. imbecillis, G. mancunianus, Polypedilum sordens, Stenochironomus gibbus, Synendotendipes kaluginae, Xenochironomus xenolabus, Xenochironomus sp., Cricotopus glacialis, and those of the mtDNA COII gene fragment 561 bp long (pos. 22 to 583) in 3 midge species: Chironomus plumosus, Chironomus balatonicus, and Baeotendipes noctivaga were determined. The time of gene COI divergence in the phytophilous midges of various taxa was estimated. The wood-mining species Stenochironomus gibbus belongs to the most ancient midges which diverged together with the ancestor form of two subfamilies, Chironominae and Orthocladiinae, about 104 Mya. Phytophily evolved in the midge larvae at different times in different taxa: among Chironominae, about 47.2 Mya in P. sordens, not earlier than 20 Mya in Glyptotendipes, Kiefferulus, and Dicrotendipes, and not earlier than 13 Mya in Endochironomus albipennis; among Orthocladiinae, 19 Mya in Cricotopus. The divergence of the genera containing phytophilous and fouling species, both in Chironominae (Dicrotendipes, Glyptotendipes, Kiefferulus) and Orthocladiinae (Orthocladius and Cricotopus), occurred approximately 20 Mya, and coincided with the beginning of formation of the recent-type limnofaunas 23 Mya.

Relevance. In light of the popularization of the use of caffeine-containing products, the question of the combined use of caffeine with substances exhibiting a toxic effect remains open. The doses of caffeine, which have a pronounced antidepressant effect, are also insufficiently studied. The aim of the study was to study the effect of repeated administration of caffeine and dioxidine on the behavioral responses of mice in the Porsolt test. Materials and methods. The experiment was carried out on 36 outbred male mice, divided into 6 groups. Experimental groups for 15 days of the study received caffeine at a dose of 40 mg/kg (first) or 100 mg/kg (second), dioxidine at a dose of 200 mg/kg (third), together with caffeine 40 mg/kg or 100 mg/kg, and dioxidine (fourth and fifth groups, respectively). The animals of the control group were injected with saline. To study the behavior, the Porsolt test was carried out, evaluating the following indicators on the 1st, 8th and 15th days of the experiment: the total time of immobilization, active swimming, climb, the number of grooming and shaking off acts. Results . The administration of caffeine at a dose of 40 mg/kg caused an increase in the time of active swimming and a decrease in the duration of immobilization on the 8th and 15th days. When caffeine was used at a dose of 100 mg/kg, an increase in the time of active swimming was noted with a single exposure, with an experiment duration of 8-15 days, an increase in the duration of immobilization was observed. Dioxidine caused a significant decrease in the time of active swimming and an increase in the duration of immobilization during all days of the experiment. The combined use of caffeine (40 mg/kg and 100 mg/kg) and dioxidine on the 1st day led to a decrease in immobilization and the time of active swimming. In both groups, 100 % animal mortality was observed by the 15th day. Conclusion. The results of the study indicate the presence of an antidepressant effect in caffeine at a dose of 40 mg/kg on the 8th and 15th days of the experiment and the absence of this effect in caffeine at a dose of 100 mg/kg with a duration of administration of 8-15 days. The use of dioxidine led to the absence of antidepressant activity and the presence of the opposite effect. The combined administration of caffeine (40 mg/kg and 100 mg/kg) and dioxidine led to 100 % mortality in the experimental groups by the 15th day of the experiment
